  1. You're not worthy to know, especially since you resort to childish insults and tough-man name-calling. Take a good, long look at yourself. Your dad should have shot you into the sheets...
  2. The masking tape decals allow you to change sponsors quickly and change paint schemes as well...
  3. GT-R II, I think you have seen too many Steven Segal/Chuck Norris movies. There are people out there with guns who are using stolen sports bikes to jack people. How you gunna show someone your finger when your head's been blown off? The guy who was jacked in Gladesville didn't get away uninjured. They tried to run him over (yes it was a stolen WRX) so he went up an over the bonnet. I know him and his brother. His car isn't even attention grabbing (stock-bodied grey R33 GT-R with white rims). Lazy car-jacking c*(ts have no respect, so i hope that when they're caught the other inmates show them none.
  4. That ain't no ordinary M3, it's the lightweight CSL (Coupe Sports Leightmetal). One of 20 in Oz for $210,000. :uh-huh: The Mitsu is the Pajero Evo II Concept. :bahaha: Where's the Gemballa Porkers??? Lap record holder @ Nurburgring for 3 years straight now!:burnout:
  5. The board approved the worldwide distribution of the car to all existing Nissan markets. This was announced to Australian journos at the release of the Zed.
  6. You mean you didn't see what i drove on the weekend? 66 Skyline seems to be more of a man's car than most new ones. Prince Skyline GT-B No power steer No NVH No cornering ability (leaf-spring rear) No brakes (disc/drum) No air con Manual windows No demister No f&*kin radio and the list goes on and on and on...
  7. Nope, Goshn has said it's going to be the Nissan GT-R worldwide. One name. No more 200SX/Silvia/240SX confusion, just one name and everyone's gotta live with it. YES we are getting it. When is the question as we'll get our cars after America/Japan/Europe are satisfied (so expect between 6-12month wait after car is unvieled). This wait would make sense as it would allow 350Z owners who want a GT-R to cash up enough to buy one...
  8. You mean the KPGC10 coupe or KGC sedan? I thought they stopped making the sedan by 72?
  9. Try Porsche Car Club of NSW www.porscheclub.org.au
  10. So if HSVs are boring, what about TVRs or CSVs or Gemballa Porkas...
  11. An SP20. It's a daily driver for insurance purposes as a 1966 Skyline ain't the most comfy car to trundle freeways in (damn no air con, p/steer, etc). Seeing as the Skyline bit the dust, the Mazda is also doubling as weekend play-thing
  12. I reckon the model designation should be FF- which stands for F*(kin Fast
  13. The upcoming 35-series GT-R won't be called a skyline. IT'S NOT A FREAKIN SKYLINE. it's an independant model (like 200SX) that is the top, bestest, most beaut car in the whole nissan portfolio.
  14. Warpspeed, i posted this before. The AWD system is based on ATTESSA but takes some comprimises into account (as the car's not as hardcore as the GT-R)
  15. Hahaha. SHV. Shit-House Vehicles. Don't believe a word they say. Driven their purple ute and it's a pile of shit. An NA R32 GTS-t running on 3 cylinders would flog it and that's before you get to the woeful interior quality, horse-and-cart ride, non-existent brakes, etc etc
  16. In answer to everyone's GTS-T questions, there's the G35 Sports Coupe. and that's aboot it... Porsche 996 for me is the ulitmate car (if you get to drive one you'll know what i mean) that's a bargain, even at 300-large. I know the guy who wrote the Porsche vs GT-R article and he's owned some of the toughest GT-Rs and Soarers in Oz and that car left a big impression. The R32 was $110,000 in 1990 when it first landed here. Nissan Oz got burnt by how long it took to sell the last batch of the original 100 (just like most Ltd. Edition cars sold here). We'll see the R35/V35/next GT-R out here as the number of GT-Rs we privately import is sooo big it's earned the ire of Nissan Intnl. who want a slice of that action. It's getting sold everywhere from here to USA to UK to France to Germany
  17. Try insuring a GT-R where i live. I'm 20 so let's see you insure ANY turbo or import. HSV is more comfortable and docile than R34. Yes i've driven both and I stand by my choice of HSV, it suits my needs as i'm not driving on a race track every day or every month. GT-R is a beaut car but not my ideal driver. That'd be a 996 Turbo or M3
  18. Rezz, they did ok. Nino threw that article together with no time (he had 1.5 hrs to shoot the car, something that's almost impossible) and no-one would answer questions on the car, except that it was a "phantom". That's when nobody owns it, nobody's seen it, it doesn't exist and you should forget what you've seen. It's also difficult and expensive to get a Japanese correspondant who can write in style, so you have to make do with factory-supplied translators who were trying to usher him away from the car. You normally never get tech sheets back from those companies as they can't be bothered filling them in. How in-depth do you want to go? Valve clearances? Piston specs? If you wrote a magazine like that it would read like a service handbook, not an entertaining read at all...
  19. Yes, he he, i've seen the latest SPEED, he he. Leon's ok but he's right when he says that they'll lose shiploads of money bringing out the G35 Koop or sedan. It'll be too expensive putting it up against the Mercedes, etc
  20. Yeah, I've driven Crewman and it's like that (doriftu crazy with 245kW V8!). It would fry its rears while the front just pulled it around. Oh so drift-able even as a 2-tonne dual-cab ute! The system is actually based off ATESSA which is based off the Porsche 959 System (although the 1984 Porsche system wasn't as advanced as Nissan's due to it being first designed in the mid 1970s)
  21. Drivetrain can handle plenty more. You seen the Crewman SS? 2.5tonne towing capacity by using the auto from the 300kW Senator. That had heaps more torque than the 4x4 Munro (525Nm compared to 440-460Nm)
  22. If the toeing's really bad maybe you should call a toe-truck...
  23. Jimbo, you driven a 300kW HSV? The quality might be woeful but the grunt and performance make it an absolute bargain...
  24. No Skyline for Oz. Leon Daphne doesn't want it and he heads the Down Under arm of Nissan. GT-R will come here but it isn't a Skyline. It's on its own platform now as Nissan's "Halo Car". Release dates being bandied round the Nissan press offices are saying between February and November 2004 (so it'll probably be launched at either next year's Tokyo or in late Nov). It'll take about 6-8 months after that before we get any touching our shores... Expect to pay over $100K when it lands...
