  2. yeah just cars even for third party. re the police jsut keep a tube of ky in glove box you will need it. seriously I drive a pretty out there looking ride I have no problems with the law. but i drive with in the speed limit and dont show off and stuff do that and keep away from hot spots ie no lapping chapel and you should be fine. re power to weight its only a fine no points I believe. meggala

  6. yes he means the gtst's and roy I think your right advan made comment to some one about this not 100 percent sure you would need to reset the injector size etc byut I'm pretty sure it would work the other way would be to put an r32 ecu in an r33 in theory it should start even if it is running really rich as the injecotrs are bigger. I would borrow an r33 stock ecu if that works then you know your on a winner meggala and yes please post on here if its true

  12. I actually think drift is like skating . as in the scene . meggala the SA track @ pt gawler is liek that monkey . but with calder having events twice a week thats great
  13. yeah shan had to use als pick casue he couldnt get a pick of his car smoking the tyres
  14. I woudl repalce the power fc till you get it sorted. engien knock can mean dead engine they arent always safe even from the factory meggala
  15. yeah geoff it really is weird drifting when you have had it drummed into your head to take good clean lines. and the lines are really weird still its lots of fun. meggala
  16. btw rezza it was popular here way b4 d1 USA and in the US as well pt gawler carting track 12 months ago 3000 peopel there andit was rain at the start of the day. {img]http://www.meggala.com/ceffydrift.jpg[/img]
  17. pity funky you have to bag a sport yeah the kids are silly to try to try it on the street and sorry for your letter box.. like all sports it starts at a basic level do you think they dont drift on the streets in japan they do 2 3 nights a week and get up to 500 cars.at least drift is now recognised by motor sport bodies and we can get venues to hold it where as b4 we couldnt . its not easy but greatly improves some one skills for a relative low cost for a car. btw the young kids find it a great sport to watch an so do I I also love doing it but it takes heaps of practice. I 've heard about some of your expeditions on to the foot path with your car. so let he who is with out sin cast the first stone. meggala
  18. great effort robbo it means a 12 is not far away for me either had a similar mph with less power than now. calder seem to have made the surface much better for launching heard of some great times last night dr-drifts ca datto 1600 ran 12.003 @ 113 mph on street tyres and he did a 1.7 60'. also a gtr did 11.6 @ 120 mph. meggala
  19. yes roy you have a good point if you use quality stuff you will get the results too many peopel put price first and suffer witha compromise I didnt this time and have no regrets plus as you say you have a nice package to sell when you off load the car. go the 2.2 id sit down and think about it the tomei piston kit isnt that dear as they have spent the time developing the whole pakage. they have the compression right etc the guy I knew with one pull the motor down 2 years later and got great money for the pistons casue they were still in great nick. he was running an rx6 turbo the car was making 600 hp or so. meggala
  20. euro cars are cheap to run ifyou keep them under 60,000 klm over that the costs rise
  21. from what I know of the 2530's I would say you would be making full boost by around 3k rpm but I'm no expert on a 2.6 rb26 they get full boost by aroudn 4k rpm as a guide 3.8 being bigger so spoolup earlier. meggala
  22. /meggala wipes his brow
  23. fit the rb26 pistons lower compression 8.6 as opposed to 9 to 1 around 110-120 each and would suit your needs. rb26 crank and rods also fit they would probalby add an extra grand plus to the job. the rest should be fine I would gopower fc and z32 afm to start b4 doing injector I would also go 2540 or td06 20g rather than 2535. or a 500 hp roller from garret. meggala
  24. jms dont bullshit their figures the dyno they use does read high but they dont use normal pump fuel they use some pretty exotic fuels for their big power runs. meggala
