with the sr 20 in my car we spliced into the stock dash for gauges tacho is out but and electronics wiz can sort that.

sounds like a great conversion good to hear it fits there is a silvia in wa with one fitted rumour has it the patrol manual gear box fits. getting the auto to work will be a head ache keep us posted good luck with it I'm glad there is another loony in the world who does strange conversions. meggala

yep what has been said is right you need to have your motor stock. you will need a stock airbox for the test I would recommend a stock intercooler. sound levels have to be close to stock as well. the list of vic roads engineers is the place to start but the smart thing would have ben totalk to an engineer b4 you actually started your conversion. meggala

if your putting forgies in at least put in the 82mm ones so its a 2.2 you will aprreciate the little bit of extra torque. might be laggy though. so buyild the motor to rev meggala

when he runs a 1/4 mile all will be revaled any way cheers meggala

the t04e shoudl be good on the rb 20 a bit laggy but it will make the power and the 2.2 or 2.4 kit will help with the lag

well if you have sold the rb26 cranks and rods you can still use the rb 20 ones to make a 2.2 you need 82 mm pistons for this. remeber you need 82 mm pistons to make the 2.4 also you might need a special head gasket. on a side note I fitted an sr 20 to my cefiro with a bigger turbo and the power and torque is much much better than any rb 20 I ahve been in. meggala

a bit harder than the r32 but I think a much better result and very nice car now rs no the manifold is on correctly

I did the conversion over here

well folks some of you know I transplanted my sr20 into my cefiro. and the motor is in and running. the specs sr20 with 550 cc injectors z32 afm trust t518z 10 cm turbo. gtr cooler and walbro fuel pump. well Dr_ drift did a very basic safe tune running very rich with out much timing and we got 188 rwkw @ .9 bar we made full boost by 3200 rpm. the car is extremly responsive and just flies cant wait for the full tune and to add some boost 220 rwkw should be very doable with out to much trouble . meggala

there is a supra in melbourne with a built motor running 2X td0g 20g l2 and he made 574 rwkw with out nos if thats a guide. so over 500 rwkw isn't out of the question. meggala btw enjoy your gear box while it lasts an osgiken gear set would be a good investment

funky you can get engine swaps reged in ofther state victoriais very hard so talk to an engineer.J- spec should have one

not with engine transplants casue I was told it would be difficult to compliy them in victoria. cheers

well cefiro's came with rb25 de's from the factory. NI Iwould talk to a complying engineer to confirm casue they are the ones who sign off on the things. cheers
