  1. Funny enough, I just saw one yesterday parked in Omotesando - a black late model ute. Probably the 3rd one Ive seen so far in the 5 years Ive been here. There was one also for sale at Super Autobacs and a mate says the guys at the Australian Embassy here own them as well. But please dont add anymore here because its embarressing. Kinda like when I see fat gaijin girls in a crowd of nice Japanese girl...
  2. Depending if you are selling or buying one, everyone can thank or blame the private imports that are/were sold in the market.
  3. Not to mention much much less models...
  4. Just got back and quite dissapointing this year. Seemed to have fewer cars and the booths were less than impressive and smaller. Perhaps cutting down on cost and the number of people there seemed lower. Nissan wise, no interesting 35 GTR's but a couple of nice 34's. The car that caught my attention however was an S class Benz, I love this .... A couple of interesting things Wouldnt mind this as a daily
  5. Take it from someone who passes Nismo Omori weekly, dont make it your main itinerary. If you are close and can make the trip, great, if not, I would spend my time going to other places where you can see more.
  6. Here you go. It will be on display in 11 days at TAS 2010. For 900,000JPY you can have the legendary front end too
  7. Hey guys sorry if its a repost but I just saw that there will be a Stagea with the old school GTR front end at the 2010 Autosalon. If you wanna see, let me know and Ill post a pic.
  8. I left mine (1995 model) for 4 years only disconnecting the battery and starting it up once a year to drive it without any problems.
  9. Spotted my car headed for Adelaide... and its for sale! BMW FOR SALE
  10. Nice to see a lovely end to this thread...
  11. Is this the car you mentioned?? If it is then... I can take the Ferrari hater or the Nissan doubters but this is just too much....
  12. I agree with Kujotk actually although not everyone is looking to use the vehicle as a business tool, it does make sense. Just look at what an R35 with a workshop logo will do to a business image. Not only does it automatically gain respect from a majority (not all) of people, the workshop instantly becomes the go to place - even if they suck at tuning.
  13. Thanks for the info on this. It sounds odd that they would request a vehicle to be completely new considering the reason or purpose for such imports. Taken from their site: The intent is to make motor vehicles available in Australia which cater for specialist and enthusiast interests. The requirements set out in Regulation 24 and Circular 0-2-12 apply to both new and used motor vehicles but do not apply to trailers (T Group) full volume new vehicles of all categories or full volume used two-wheeled and three-wheeled vehicles (L Group). Given this, how can they ask for a vehicle to be new? I understand that Nissan has started to sell them but the 07/08 models were approved and they should allow all vehicles in this period in. Can anyone else confirm this?? By the way Richard, I think you had a silver one - did you manage to sell it?
  14. So in other words, the ones already in the country are the only ones able to come in anymore? Can anyone confirm this?
  15. By the way guys, any idea on how many people can compliance the 35 GTR and the cost involved?
  16. BMW 645Ci - sports coupe, current model - non accident and immaculate. 2004 645Ci with 32,000kms and comes with Bilstein sports suspension kit & 3 piece 20 inch alloy wheels - both these alone cost me about 1M JPY. Black Sapphire on tan leather. The vehicle is immaculate inside and out and comes with complete service books. Fully equipped with non ADM options - 6 speed SMG (Sequential Manual Gearbox similarly used in M6) - as well as Sports seats, electric sunroof, Navigation / TV, Park Distance Control, Xenon Headlights with Adaptive Lighting, cruise control, factory security alarm system, 10 speaker Premium Sound System and much more! The car will be ready for 1st registration and can be delivered to any city. Depending on the exchange rate, I am looking of offers over $80,000 AUD. Thank you and please PM me for further details.
  17. Our uncle - wife side - owns the last of the Nur Spec II in the green. Over 60 years old, hardly ever drives it and probably looking to sell it soon. If anyone here is seriously interested in an immaculate, low kms one, please let me know. I am sure he is going to change again - before this, he had the original Vspec in bayside blue.
  18. That doesnt seem too expensive if correct. I remember Honda windscreens were 800 plus from factory and if I am not mistaken, the OEM R33 used to be close to 2K? I opted for a non original one and it was not a good choice because when it came time to selling it, you can tell the screen had been replaced.
  19. I have never implied that my judegement to be superior to others because I simply wouldnt know nor care to argue regarding a car that again I am not interested in. What I was saying AGAIN was my opinion and I think this forum allows for everyone to state opinions or at least preference and choice. And just incase you didnt notice, this is my thread and I wanted to share thoughts on 360 Vs GTR. Why the hell are you even worried or wasting time to force this issue and defend against something I have opinions on?? I really dont understand and will not waste my time any longer on this and will move along... pfft
  20. First of all you dont make sense. You are implying that someone has to drive a particular vehicle to be convinced of how good it is even if they are not interested in it in the first place? What kind of theory is that? You see a car, like or dont like it, then decide to have it in your list of potentials before a test drive. This is the same reason I have no interest in test driving a VL Walkinshaw although some are convinced it is better than a GTR for example. Everyone has opinions and I, along with a few others here, have never denied claims of the F355 being better to be incorrect. Simply put, I would never test drive one because to me, it is old. And this is only because someone here presented me with the question.
  21. I refuse to drive a car because I pass judgement on it. And isnt that how almost everyone decide preference Again, a matter of opinion and I would agree but note I said dated, not ugly
