  1. You are absolutely right. What was I thinking!
  2. Yeah youre right Adam. Im happy for you. Let that be a lesson boys and girls... If you want something and cant get it, find someone who does and use it! Dont steal. Now where is Part 4?? Im dying here....
  3. Yes pleaze... Think the boys would love to see a vid too.. Not so much saying its all untrue.. Just cant believe someone would feel so little shame.. Speaking of vids..
  4. Looks like an interesting story if proven real. I just wonder how many of you guys would rev & drive a brand new car through its gears given that; (a) its not your car (b) you wouldnt even afford to pay the excess should you hit something © realizing that its somewhat rude and immature to do so Before getting my car, I wouldnt even accept a good friends offer to drive his M6 for the 3 months of his licence suspension. Would have been great ofcorse, but common sense comes into play. Again, looks like a good read, if all is true.
  5. Hakkone Skyliner or Skyline turnpike? Is that near Hakkone? If so, Ive driven on that route. Excellent road, almost like a race track at times. Only complain is the toll I had to pay every few minutes!
  6. Somebody get this guy his own blog Since your life has improved 100 fold, how about improving your personality just 2 fold? Btw, Im one of the ones who referred you as a LBH because of 2 reasons; 1.You were referred to me as a LBH and the title stuck. 2.You are one.
  7. Think you were very lucky to be with your brother. I would have loved to have your experience. Looking at your post, sounds like a great journey and you managed to bring the 2 cars (babies) home for memory is great. Also love your shots. Some of them look like the ones out of the montly GTR Magazine. Again, what camera were you using??
  8. Nice write up and some nice shots there. What camera are you using? Thats not you in the first pic is it? If yes, Jp has obviously improved your looks... Which part of Japan were u in?
  9. ROTFL :laughing-smiley-014: That reminds me, I saw this guy on the expressway heading out to Yokohama. We stopped at Daikoku futo and I bought him a can coffee. He gave me his cell, home and work numbers. Told me I could drive it anytime I wanted and if I liked, I could sleep with his mrs too.
  10. No login req. It doesnt have a password to it. Basicly connect and surf.
  11. If you are in a busy spot or near the station, cafe... you will get YahooBB Free Wireless. Ive alwasy used it when im out. Dont need to pay or sign up, just log on. Hope that helps.
  12. Think most GTRs are owned by older men. I know of one 60+ year old who owned a bayside Vpec2 then traded it in for the same model in Nur Spec and is now waiting for his 35. Another is probably due to its pricing especially the 35. Interestingly, for this model, if someone wanted a loan, they require a min of 40% down payment. Dont think this was the case with other line ups. Another example of its popularity, a friend of mine whose husband works at Nissan could get me 20% off the price of a V35 Skyline or any Nissan but not the GTR.
  13. Did you raise your concerns that maybe his car will get stolen or keyed by an aussie? LOL..
  14. Maybe Im used to the setup in JP these days. Maybe some of the guys who have been here and seen the usual setup of workshops will agree with me. Considering how much the car is, what your outlook is about the car, dont you think for it to be taken apart in what looks like a shed, a little sad?? Im not saying that paintshop or JustJap is somehow cheap, just kinda an unfitting end/renewal to a car hardly 1,000kms old. I mean just look at whats holding this 'GOD' of Nissan... a freakin old wooden block... Anyway, no need to agree with me. Just think about it..
  15. Please dont take offence to this, its nothing personal but those pics make me sad. To think the car came from a multi-million dollar state of the art assembly line, worked on by highly trained people only a few weeks prior to this... Will be good to see it at the Targa but just wished it was worked on in a workshop/paintshop more like the race teams. Again, no offence just stating an opinion.. Goodluck in the Targa.

    Number Plates

I just got my plates!! Freaking hard to get custom ones here in Jp. Basicly you get the usual plates. If you want a special number, you pay a small premium but the hard thing is its a lucky draw or need to know someone. I applied for a single digit plate which as you can imagine is so difficult to get because there isnt alot left. Today got the call from the dealer and he got me my plates! For those who are interested, the plates here actually explain a number of things about the vehicle. Intesting read: http://www.answers.com/topic/japanese-license-plates In Tokyo, the plates to have are Shinagawa (品川) Any other plates dont cut it. Cars registered with these plates are regarded as educated or richer residents in the Tokyo area. Adachi (足立) plates are looked down upon. If you look at the two plates below, you can guess who is in the better area and one got lucky with the - - 35 number. Most luxury or connected people have plates with 8 on them only. If you see any black Mercs that have 8 on them, try not to piss off the driver Anyway, just wanted to share that with you guys. Now when you see a car in JP, you can know alittle more about the owner.

    Number Plates

Paying $100 for something like that and in that condition is ridiculous. I hope SAUers are wiser than that. How many of you guys are interested in these plates anyway??

    Number Plates

You might have been there at the same time as I was. Saw a couple of Aussies wondering whether to buy R33 or GT-R.

    Number Plates

Here you are. Think they were $60 for 2. More expensive than the genuine custom plates Im waiting for but much much easier to get!
  20. Welcome back.. Think I know where you are judging from the pics. If youre still up for that drink, drop me a PM. Whats the itinerary while in town?
  21. I thought R34 Engines uses a different Crank Angle Sensor. Looking at the pic, it looks like an R32/33 CAS. Any ideas?
