  1. Yeah - and they are also selling their OTHER R34 GT-R V-Spec II as well. That must have been the spare parts GT-R obviously. lol
  2. What exactly do you do in the pit-stop?? Also - do you need a cage for the OLT does anyone know? One of the cars wanting to come is Ben from Racepace here in Vic. Down here this car is lapping Sandown and Calder only 1-2s off V8 Supercar times yet is only running on R Spec tyres. In a reverse grid race he'll still be in first by turn 1. lol
  3. Nope - but he has a GT-R and he recently purchased a new twin plate clutch (I think its an OS Giken twin) but then decided on another clutch so the twin is sitting on his kitchen table doing nothing.
  4. If a day at Eastern Creek can be arranged for either the weekend before or the weekend after I may be able to arrange a mexican invasion of some very quick skylines. I've PM'd Drunken about it but if the invitation is open to us to attend this I would be very interested (and may be interested in doing OLT as well)
  5. Check with Scotsman - he may be able to help you.
  6. Hey guys, The next round on the WRX Club Sprints and the consequent next round of the SAU Vic Club championship is being held at Winton (again) on SUNDAY September 11th. Entry Form and Sup Req's available here: http://www.wrx.com.au/motorsport/WRXwinton11Sepsupreg.pdf This is the 2nd last round for the year so hope to see a few faces out there.
  7. Ok - apparently lots of people can't post anything. If you are reading this and you are in this boat don't worry - your not alone and it's being worked on (I presume).
  8. Wow - the post cout is back! Look at James - he's such a post whore. PS - I think this new layout is GHEY. But thats just me. Also - I know the members section still exists somewhere but we all have to wait to up uploaded into the new database.
  9. Check out this site. http://www.my105.com/
  10. Officially the EVO can never lose. Especially if that Simmo guy keeps driving them. Well done mate - too good. (again!) Maybe if the GT-R got stripped out, got carbon fiber all through it, got perspex windows, got a hydraulic handbrake, and basically got totally race prepped then it could challenge. But I like my street car. So that won't be happening. Well done to Russel and Mark for winning class A. That car was sweet.
  11. Well its an 800 - not a 1000 and I ran a 18.64. Hopefully crack well into the 17's this year.
  12. Shepparton Airport on Friday
  13. Denham - it's where we did the Skidpan day with Kev. It's ok - but watching cars go around in a circle is only so much fun. There is a little track there we have to do also thats brilliant fun to drive on but there's bugger all spots to watch it from so you don't get to see a whole lot. Essendon is heaps better.
  14. Hey, Some people have asked the schedule for this weekends Dutton Rally so that they can come down and watch (it's free to watch) Friday 9:00am-12:00pm - DECA Shepparton Friday 1:00pm - 4:00pm - Shepparton Airport Saturday 9:00am - 4:00pm - Winton Saturday 4:30pm - 6:30pm - SPC Carpark - Shepparton Sunday 10:00am - 12:00pm - Essondon Airport Carpark Sunday 1:00pm - 3:00pm - Police Training Centre - Atwood. Basically that is the schedule for cars 48-96. On days one and 3 the schedule is swapped for cars 1-47. (As is cars 1-47 will do Shepparton Airport first then DECA) But Myself and Scotsman (66), Blaise and Dan (67) and Frank and Aaron (68) are all in the 2nd group so will follow the exact schedule above. As far as the events in Melbourne on the Sunday goes the stuff at Essondon is definitely the best to watch. Lots of great cars - 8 GTR's in total - plus a full range of Porkas (Twin turbo's, GT3's, GT2's and even a special Gemaballa Twin Turbo), as well as EVO's, STi's, BMW's etc etc.
  15. Yeah something stupid about Jim having to race in the Porsche Cup Round at the Indy 500 and having other sponsor day commitments in the Gold Coast for the next two months. Personally I can't see how our dinner isn't more important. But regardless this night is more about re-capping the whole first year the club has been formed and to provide a great social opportunuty for all members to have a great night out.
  16. You know - the thing that James loves.
  17. I'll arrange the list to be updated when Adz returns from holidays.
  18. All chicks must come. The Pres has spoken. And they have to wear a nice dress. This night will be semi-formal / ****tail. And it will be fun!
  19. Scotts time was in Chris's car whilst Chris was driving the dragon.
  20. Pete is full of useless information today! So now he can make another edit to his post. Since the last round of the Track Club Championship isn't until October 8th the Trophy's for this won't be handed out in September. It will either be at a usual Club night in Oct or Nov or else done at our Xmas BBQ day.
  21. Your not still drunk are you Brisby?
  22. Duncan guessed right here. I've never used the controllers but I have been told there are some advantages of the transfer case mods over the controllers - how marginal the difference is I'm not sure so like Duncan could only tell with a back to back trial. But god damn through the tight stuff it's made a huge difference. Ben - I run my RE55's at 30psi hot.
  23. BTW - apparently Blaise misplaced his sunnies so if anyone found some can you let him know.
  24. Apparently it was necessary a lot. :chairshot
  25. Alrighty Simmo and Russell - we are now ready to take up the challenge. We had a run at Winton on the weekend (Rnd 5 of our Club championship) but we also used the day to let our Dutton co-drivers have a turn behind the wheel of our cars. Both me and my co-driver (Scotsman) had 2 three lap sessions in my car and we both had an identical fastest time of 1.35.2 which would have been good enough for 4th fastest in Dutton last year. One of the other GTR teams were there also (Car 68) - Frank and Aaron and they ran times of 1.31.7 and 1.32.8 repectively! Stupid fast. Basically the biggest difference between out 2 cars is in the suspension and my new stuff goes in this Wed (couldn't get it fitted in time for last weekend) but that should make the cars pretty similar (I'll be about 30kw's down on power but thats about it) And the rex boys in our little group ran a 1.35.7. So collectively we are as ready as we can be to take up the challenge this weekend. I can't wait and am damn excited!
