    Pocket Bikes

I think one of the guys from here actually does sell them.
  2. Alright boys and girls. Because its such nice weather I'm going to actually bring the GTR along tonight. And because I'll have the GTR and because there isn't a lot on tonights meeting agenda I am going to go on a short (45min) cruise afterwards. I'll bring some basic maps and if anyone wants to join me that will be great.
  3. I've definitely had a curried soup. Was nice.
  4. My opinions as I use the RE55's. 1. I've never used them myself but I believe the Dunlop DZ02G's are supposed to be as good - but cost nearly twice the price. The Advans definitely aren't as grippy. 2. The tramline EVERYTHING. Drives me crackers at times! LOL. I've never had any issues with them in the wet. 3. I recently ran with the RE55's on the fronts and some Advan A048's on the rear - thinking oversteer at Sandown would be better than understeer. Was a pain in the ass with the different compounds as the car just wasnt balanced. Would have been better with both front and back on the Advans than trying to put the better compund just on one end.
  5. Well you have to have sugar disoved in red cordial fed via a drip all washed down with a dozen red bulls to enjoy HK. Or alternately.... But thats beside the point. I still reckon the music from the late 90s was more enjoyable and could be appreciated in any state. I'll add some more classic's I'll have playing to refresh the memory (for those that know them) Faithless - God is a DJ Three Drives on Vinyl - Greece 2000 Robert Miles - Children (absolute classic still getting a bashing today) Solar Stone - The Calling DJ Shakin - Protect Your Mind (For the Love of a Princess) Tilt - Invisible Taylor - Calling Your Name Push - Universal Nation PVD - Forbidden Fruit Karen Raminez - Looking For Love BBE - Seven Days and One Week Nalin and Kane - Beachball Faithless - Insomina For my stupid back in the dark ages mind - the difference between todays clubbing and back in the 90's is that back then is wasn't considered "un-cool" or "too mainsteam" to play the big anthems. Now if you were to go and see PVD and he was to play For and Angel or something he'd be uncool - even though EVERYONE loves it. So dumb. Its would be like going to see U2 in concert and them only playing B side tracks cause they didnt want to be mainstream. If that happened you'd ask for your money back.
  6. BTW - the results are up..... finally. http://www.maserati.org.au/download/pdf-fi...own/San0410.pdf
  7. You left out Tiesto from that list ocean.
  8. Hey archie - a couple of my good mates are planning on playing a while at my party. Hope your coming dude and if you want they'll let you spin some tunes for a while. Between the 2 of them they'll have PLENTY to lend ya. I was also planning a trip to greville to buy a couple for myself for the night. I don't have my own decks - never spun a vinyl in my life - but god damn it Im going to spin 1 or 2 on my 30th B'Day - and my 2 track set will ROCK! lol
  9. ditto
  10. Come on - the 1812 overture was a gun of a song. Or is that a 15 cannon song?
  11. Ok - I've made this so you can stop whoring my B'Day thread. Scene now is crap Best music was back in the late 90's. Back with songs like: Breeder - The Chain (best dance song ever bar NONE) Lustral - Everytime DJ Mind X - Nightingale Der Rite Rum (?) - Hale Bopp BT - Forever June Binary Finary - 1998 Energy 52 - Cafe Del Mar etc etc Nothing in todays prog / trance comes close. Although The Matrix - The Matrix was close. I reckon todays dance - house has it won. Or maybe thats just because "Im a dirty vinyl pusha"
  12. Nothing will ever beat The Mansion..... but thats BESIDE THE POINT. Stop whoring my B'Day thread with dance music genre debates and start filling it with general whoring of people who are coming to share a beer, wine, burbon, scotch or vodka (be it normal, sloeberry or shoeberry) or in leewahs case - water. (He doesn't drink ok!) Plus, I can gaurentee the music at Spy will be 20 times better than anything at QBH anyways because I SELECTED IT ALL!!!!!!!!
  13. Its Shoeberry once you are drunk. The sober name is (apparently) sloeberry. lol. BTW - some confusion - SpyBar is NOT the one on King St! Thats Spy Lounge.
  14. But SpyBar is FREE to get in - so come down and have a beer - or a sloeberry vodka. Those things are evil! LOL
  15. For people wanting to know about the Ferry Corsten gig - check out: http://www.futureentertainment.com.au/flas...corsten2004.htm Basically will be $50 on the door to get in. You will be able to buy tickets on the door. I'm not 100% going yet - but probably will. Apparently he doesnt start til 2am. But right now the music I have lined up for Spy will be hard to leave. Lots of late 90's anthems. But a packed QBH is so much fun. Saw PVD there..... a long time ago..... and it was awesome.
  16. Howdy all. I am turning 30. :bonk: Those of you out there that know me know I don't mind a drink or two so I invite you all along to join me in celebrating this occasion. I will be starting the night at: Spy Bar 173 Clarendon St South Melbourne. Saturday 20th Novemver 8pm - til late (they have a 24hr licence) I have hired the Bushido function room there with its own music / Dj / bar facilities - and the public area upstairs will also have a DJ playing house and disco tunes. Anyone who hasn't as yet joined the SAU crew for a drink feel free to come along as this is the perfect time to come have some fun. :bananaman At this stage I'm also thinking of heading in to QBH to see Ferry Corsten later in the evening. :rave:
  17. Now you can see why I haven't paid any $$$ yet. You just can't trust a skinny Maori.

  21. I have the Blitz NUR spec exhaust on my car chinny. There's a stack of pics of my car floating around on this forum in different places - or else alternately turn up at the next SAUVIC meet and see it yourself. It sits pretty much dead straight.
  22. Geoff - I checked the Winton Web site and there's no listing for open days in Nov. Seems to stop at Oct???

    Calder 5th Nov

There is a potential Calder track day coming up on Dec 5th. A few of us (Roy, Scotsman and I) will find out more about it tonight at the NDSOC meeting. If it is on we'll be there.
  24. I have run 245's on my 18 x 9.5's and it was no problems.

    Calder 5th Nov

Yeah one day I want to give this a shot (if only so I can answer everyone when they ask what my car does down the 1/4! LOL) but until I get 2nd gear fixed I'll have to pass up. But I'll try to come down for a look and to cheer you on Roy. Just don't break the car again before PI. Actually, you sure you don't want to wait til AFTER PI before you try this mate?
