  1. Chris - we can cruise up from our area together. I can give you that ride at Winton as well mate.
  2. And now I feel good about still having all my money. This is crazy.
  3. lol - Adz v Matt - the ultimate R34 rice battle is ON. But - they have both been on the track so they are allowed. Sorry I missed it Greg - I just totally forgot. I was thinking there was something on but all I could think of was the Red Bull Billy Kart comp.
  4. We all love the less busy inland route
  5. For all that it matters the speed limit at this time of year may as well be 40 as our last cruise the majority were stuck behind someone doing that and only a bayside blue r34 gtr was able to get past and have some fun!
  6. Steven - we have an anual GOR cruise thats held usually around the end of Feb / Begining of March every year.
  7. Good work Rosco. There was talk of an SAU team for this but like many good idea's it never got off the ground. But I'll definitely try and make it out there Sunday for a looksee.
  8. Guys - also for those of you who are thinking of joining the club but havent as yet this will be the last opportunity to join up with the no joining fee - founders members special. So from 1/1/05 there is a $20 joining fee on top of the anual fee of $50. (this first round of memberships is valid until Feb 2006).
  9. There is no confirming a place . You just turn up and pay.
  10. The Snowman will probably be there (with his lemon). I am supposed to be flying to Canada on the Monday and might have to still do things but if not I will be there for sure.
  11. No - thank god.
  12. to everyone that came to help me celebrate on Sat night. I had a great time and was nicely pickled. And something to take away from the night is this peice of advise. Don't act the fool infront of a man holding a lemon.
  13. Especially when you shoot giant flame balls at them as you do it.
  14. Ant - basically the day gets broken into half hour driver only sessions, followed by half hour passenger sessions. You can pretty much go straight from the track back into the queue with a passenger if you are that keen (and your brakes are up to it). I'd say we got close to 3hrs track time. Put it this way - Both me and my brakes had had enough of track driving by the end of the day! There wasn't really any dickheads - mostly the day is about guys bringing their families along and showing them what its like on the track - or people to have a feel for it and see if they like it. With all the cars on the track its hard to get a good run. We were passing up to 20 cars in one laps! But it was fun. It was different fun to a usual track day as you had to take a totally different line cause you were always passing people.
  15. Mate - you sound like you are THE BEST. And your only 16 too! WOW. I'll definitely be looking at putting my R34 on the first ship to Malaysia. Or maybe instead I can arrange a 1st Class all expenses paid trip for you to come over here and work my car for me??
  16. Guys, Just letting you know there is another Winton Fun Day scheduled on Dec 19th. Don't have full details for it yet but the last one was $20 - you got a stack of track time and all you need is a helmet. So no CAMS etc etc etc. So pics from the last one here:
  17. Cool little piccy from last night.
  18. Whats wrong with GT Wings????? Several people have now been scratched off as potential passengers around Sandown.
  19. Cheers to everyone that came. Cruise last night was good. Nice little route on a beatiful night. I think now that summer is approaching we need to do things like that more often.
  20. Cheers to those that came on the cruise. Was a nice little route on a beautiful night. Think we should do more of those cruises more often now that the members section is up.
  21. Plan is to start the cruise at say somewhere around 9 - 9:30pm. When the rest of the meeting finishes up.
  22. Yeah Patrick - beers are good. I usually bring a couple. Last years SAU Xmas party was basically my first meet that I attended. I was thinking about it earlier when we were planning this. Since then I have met close to 100 new people and have had a truely enjoyable year.
  23. At this time of the year there are a stack of clashes no matter what day you have something on. There is no way to please everyone unfortunately.
  24. Incase people don't read the meeting thread - there will be a short cruise tonight after the General Meeting. Will only be a quick and easy one but with the weather being so nice and with not much on at the meeting tonight it seems like a great opportunity to do so. I will have some basic maps if you want to tag along so bring your cb's if you have them.
