Aparently I was lying before so here is the full details. I've got an rs4s running an excedy hd, stock turbo on 10/11psi it slipped a little, installed hypergear tuned to 220kw, slipped a bit more. Rebuilt engine and got clutch checked, nothing physically wrong with it or the flywheel, just doesn't hold.

Gain too high, it's hitting your boost limit and cutting boost then building too much over and over again.

Your rears should fit pretty good but you will need spacers for the front. That's where I went wrong. I've got a 18x8 +35 front with a 25mm spacer.

Lol. I know what you mean, I was just trying to try to point out where the problem lies. If I knew back them what I know now I wouldn't have my retarded rims. I could have just bought any rwd offset rims and been happy, I don't like having 25mm spacers on the front.

I get the impression that most of you think this is my first car. Precautions were made before I did any excessive driving. Everything in the engine has been double checked. There is the same problem ratio as if anyone else had built it. At the end of the day if it dies its my fault. Things happen. I've made all the precautions I can.

I'm curious as to how you have come to the conclusion that Efi has never had any other complaints. There is a long list of people who laughed at me for taking my car there, at the end of the day no tuner is going to get it right everyday. My problem wasn't so much with the tune, but the after tune questions. When you have a customer ring within minutes of leaving because things are going wrong, do you ignore it or ring them back when you get a chance? I'm not sure about you but when i get my car tuned then get a check engine light come up I worry. I understand that you will all have your opinions of my engine build and that's fine. Im very much past mouthing off about what was done to reduce my view of them and I think it's best left untold. I agree that a few over boost situations may have weakend my piston and then it cracked under average driving conditions. There is still no answer to my boost problems and I'm hoping that these will be resolved this time it's on the dyno.

As a guide my neo pistons in my neo block sat about 40thou under the deck height. I think you need to go buy an r33 block.

I used the hks r33 harness in mine, but I did have to cut some of the clip casing off.
