  1. Still waiting for your comments guys lol
  2. Are these all the 30min sessions?
  3. boring day is boring so I decided to update my build thread
  4. Safe to say this thread has been very very non active of late, which really is a true reflection of the work doing on with the car at the moment. Slow and steady wins the race here at the moment. SOld some parts, bought some parts. MOTOR : Turns out even the rods on the bottom end were no good so new pistons and rods have been ordered and arrived. Pistons are JE 40thou Pistons. Block is currently 20thou. ROds that have been ordered are Spool rods. I also dropped off the crank this week too to get a last ditch attempt to save it. Not overly fussed if not as ive got a new one lined up and just got to get a collar on it. CAR: Not much car wise has happened for a while looks wise. Just been picking up parts here and there really. I did manage to pick up a set of sway bars for the car which seem to be a serious bit of gear and hard to come by through Whiteline in these sizes Front is a custom 33mm Inc big sump clearance Rear is 29mm Also ditched the GT wing look as getting it right was giving me the shits too much so I picked up a bootlid with duck wing that needs some paint but should turn out fine and do the job the dog has also taken up shotgun for all car part runs of late and seems to enjoy the trips Not sure if i posted this previously or not but I ditched the Nardi deep dish wheel for a flat Sparco wheel and quick release. Poor pics but it looks a lot better Last of all I got bored so test fitted my 26 covers and trigger setup on the head. Photos dont do the colours justice and they combine really well in person IMO.
  5. Jump to e85 mike and you will never wanna come back
  6. Looks like a mental build! Love the puppy also
  7. Thanks Chris, I feel like im doing a lot but the car is kinda going no where a bit at the moment. its all pretty much waiting for the motor to get done and for me to save some more $$. Yeah mate, Noels old donk. He bought my old one too. His motor was too good a unit at the price not to buy in my eyes He is definitely cute, and an ankle biter.
  8. I'll leave it up to the engine builder to decide. They will come up alright after a clean and a bit of work. Worst case I'll order new ones and sell these for next to nothing He goes alright
  9. Also contemplating a rear defuser here are a few designs I have to choose from
  10. I also picked up a one piece tail shaft and a Nismo 2 way. Sorry for the horrid pictures. I must have been blind drunk off too many 440 Woodstock cans lol I also picked up the cars new motor on Monday, Was originally buying a mint 25/30 motor that was making 680rwhp on 29psi, however when the previous owner pulled it out and down he noticed some bearing shavings in the sump and so on and so forth. Long story short, I still bought it as a realigned price as there was still plenty of goodies on there that were is perfect working order and worth the change. Worst case I'll do a full rebuild on the bottom end. Here a brief run down of the motor. I bought it minus both hot and cold sides. Engine. RB 25/30. built by Dan of ERD fame. blueprinted balanced et. ARP everything Argo rods Mahl full slipper race pistons ACL race series bearings RSR extended gated and baffled sump Jun oil pump Supertech solid lifter conversion with o/s valves and titanium retainers tomei solid cams 10.25 lift, staggered duration. port and flow mods by john white engines ATI harmonic balancer Kulig crank and cam triggers Here is a picture of it coming out of the old car Now it in pieces Here is a close up of the pistons. Question remains and i will ask PLR the same. Are these savable with a bit of TLC? Also picked up a Mercury external coil setup too. Came off an RB previously and should be good for 1000hp, more than ample for my setup Also picked up a new puppy about 10 days ago. Meet Linus the Blue Cattle Dog, Linus has already been on many car part runs and apparently loves Coronas as much as I do
  11. Been a few things going on here and there with this car at the moment. A while back i bought a big GT wing for the lulz and started to look at getting it fitted with a new boot lid etc. Here how its turned out. The stand design themselves have really turned me off the whole thing and now Im not sure if Im going to run this or not. I may like it if.when I get other stands made that are a fair bit higher than this and a bit smoother in design. I also got around to getting different end blades made up and painted them plus stands black to hopefully make it look a bit better. Whilst it looks better I still hate the stands.
  12. Not too much happening still here. Ended up sourcing a clutch off a fellow SAU member. DCS twin plate, hardly had much use at all. Motor is almost back together. Good new is I've sold the motor so that parts out the way. Time to play the waiting game for my new motor to be ready
  13. Thanks for the clutch Tim! Good chat too.
  14. morning all
  15. New wheels suit it really really well.
  16. Definitely the nicest Zed I've seen. Too many poor examples getting around these days :-(
  17. New spoiler brackets were finally finished. Ended up getting extended brackets/stands along with new end blades. Still need a bit of modification. The stand design I'm not overall happy with. Also the end blades need new holes drill into them to change the angle they sit at. Here are the end blades fitted to the spoiler As you can see by the angle of the old bracket, once on the car the ends will not be parallel to the ground and will be pointing down. Below is a picture of where i think they should probably sit. Next job is to get them painted and new holes drilled and then it should start to look a lot better. Here is the angle as it sits on the stands Here is how i want it to sit of the stands Also got bored so i tried to replicate my car in Forza 5, but only had the GTR shape to go off.

  20. Super clean interior! Makes me feel ashamed that ive vaccumed my car twice is the last 6 years
  21. ^^ This lol...
  22. Thats the spirit. Nothing better than dropping bulk coin on car parts lol
  23. Thinking about getting a setup similar to this
  24. So car progress has been pretty much stalled. Just been waiting on a few companies to get their work finished so i can progress further on the new build. This arrived today After wanting one of these for about 12 months.I finally bit the bullet and bought one. The biggest hurdle from the start for me was the fact that i had a Vipec ECU so i needed the EFI interface converter so it was compatible. I ended up finding it on special in the US and saved around $300 compared to buying it locally. Here is a few more pictures of it
