  1. Unless you crash or someone crashes into you and your modified seat rails snap and you or a passenger gets injured but the insurance wont cover it, ect ect.. I got a rail for a Sparco at Revolution Race Gear which was OK (not good but still better than most after market rails) and it bolted straight up, then get it engineered and see if it passes, or even ring a engineer and see what they recommend first. Or just buy R32/33 GTR seats if you are not using a harness or R34 GTR seats if you are using a harness, unless its a R34GTT which would suck as nothing fits..
  2. http://www.motorcycleridingschool.com.au/forums/showthread.php?t=55389 Nasho is arse now, as are a lot of other good roads, speed limits dropped from 100 to 60, There are still some good roads but you need to drive for hours to get there, Snowy Mountain ranges are my fav.
  3. If you have the standard pull lever under the dash and then the lever under the bonnet ie stock, you will be fine.
  4. Ouch
  5. Bring it up to operating temp and test it, mine rattles like its got lose nuts for a while on start up but when its warm it quiets right down. Bit like me really.
  6. It will be good to see that little blue Aussie race car again, If I can make it.
  7. If by service you mean a oil change, filter, plugs, radiator flush, you should do it yourself. Saves a lot of money so you can buy the best parts. Hell, you could do gearbox and the diff oils as well and still be way infront. Mark
  8. 2:39 was my best, I'm shi t, LOL.
  9. R32/33 GTR seats are no good when using a harness as there is no room for your neck if you have a prang. My old R34 GTR seats on the other hand are the super awsomeness for a daily which sees the track. But for a $600 limit you might be best just getting a drivers seat. Mark
  10. legally registered streetable cars, Im not to sure on how legally registered some of these cars are going to be, dont get me wrong, I like mods for speed and handling, BUT, saying legaly regoed means the car has a legit engineering cert, there is nothing I hate more than someone saying the car is legaly registered with things like ATMO BOV or dumped on its guts, or-or-or, the list goes on. On another note, how about sending some free stuff our way so that we can give out some of your awsome products out at one of our events, or send out a rep to one with shiny things to give away, Ill even take them for a drive in a legalish x 11ty registered streetable car (and do a skid), just have a look in this here events section of SAU NSW. My missus always gets me MEGUIARS products for my B/Day and Xmas Mark
  11. Im in Wattle Grove, near the pub, of course.
  12. I have enough trouble trying to not go sideways, LOL again.
  13. And I don't even like drift, LOL.
  14. I'm near Liverpool. PM me.
  15. I'm hoping for improvement on 1:58 if all goes well, I'm pretty sure the only thing holding the car back now is the driver and his ability of not keeping his right foot planted on the go pedal.

  17. You get the sticker for free when you join SAU NSW, a Povo "I'm not a member but wish I was" sticker is full of good old fashion fail. Click on the membership link below and join the club and keep that smell of fail out of your car.
  18. LOL, THE SKY IS FALLING, the radiation at Lucas Heights is the last thing you need to worry about, your phone does more damage, also where do you think the medical radio active stuff is made, cancer treatment, X Ray stuff. End rant. Newcastle would be good for a full sized track but Lucas Heights would be perfect for a driver training come skid pan area, I think it would get a huge amount of people who don't want to drive for hours (Marulan) or wait for a event at E/C. Also I don't know what area they want to use but there is some good areas around there that you could make a nice hill climb section, bring it on I say, I'll go.
  19. Yavus is coming along to keep a eye on it, fingers crossed its sorted.
  20. AROCA, HSV, SSCC & WRX Clubs are holding a Sprint at Eastern Creek on the 16th April, anyone else going. Mark.
  21. Sounds like a day of awsomeness, might have to ride down though as the car is incarmunicardo at this stage.
  22. Epic launch, looked like the door was closing until you stuck your Nissan in it.
  23. Dunlop semis. Well for the 3 laps I did anyway. Street legal ones.
  24. Any box that fits in and can be secured will do, look around some wreckers for a box and pipes, might have to cut some pipes to fit but meh. Pods are ghey as the suck hot air, find the best flowing stock box with CAI from something that fits and you'll be better off. There are some good web sites with info on this subject. Google man Google.
