  1. Step 4 was me swearing at the car. Double clutching helps me between 2nd and 3rd, this i know for a fact. If i dont double when im up it it grids, if i double it generaly doesnt. My box has about 170k on it so the syncros are sure to be worn. You dont need to blip it going up gears only down, to match engine speed to road speed.
  2. Im going to buy a 360 to replace my old xbox, after i play the new doom and halo 3 it will go into the linen closet where the old xbox is after i finished doom and halo 2. Does anyone know when is the new doom( not sure if its called doom but the games about being trapped on space ship with deamon zombies or something) is coming out, and will the 360 play it or are they going to upgrade the 360 again. I only like these two games, doom because i remember playing the origional doom years ago and have been hooked ever since and halo because, well just because. : )

Double clutch=Example-if im in 2nd and want to go to third I, 1. depress clutch and select neutral, 2. release clutch, 3. depress clutch and select 3rd, 5. release clutch.(it sounds tricky but is easy as with a bit of practice) Flat shift= Example-if your in second when you change to third you dont release the accelerator you just punch the clutch in throw it in third and release the clutch (and hold on because your about to loose traction)

I have to pause between 2nd and 3rd for a second or a ,orrible sound of syncro,s griding is what i get, ive tryed double clutching which only works sometime, and ive got a newish excedy single plate. Read in HPI somewhere you can grind of every second syncro for a smoother shift but that sounds a bit bush mechanics for me.
  5. Still got all parts. Need gone. FRONT BAR - $50. REO (cut to suit 400r front bar) - $20. or free if you buy the front bar. DISC F/R (good cond) + metal king pads almost new to suit - $50. COILS x 6 - $20.

Front bar $100 - ono Reo $50 - ono Discs F/R $80 - ono RB25 Standard Coils - $50 - ono Willing to negotiate price or swap, im looking for the rear cover thingy that covers the battery area in the boot of a 33 coupe, prefer grey or if you have a complete boot trim in anouther colour you can have the lot if its in good nick.   10. WOT = wide open throttle, to4 is just a bigger turbo. You need a good boost gauge and when you up the boost do it in small increments or you will end up running at 20 psi and it will blow.

I ran at 14 psi with no problems but then it wasnt at WOT for to long, ((Ive swapped it out now for a TO4 with a 68 rear (WHICH IS STILL TO BLOODY LAGGY)) and upon inspection the bearings were still ok. But in the end i must add how has the car been maintained (oils), how long will you hold it at full boost (giving it a bit here and there or draging) If your turbo blows up dont blame me,LOL. For peice of mind you could always buy a spare in case of a failure, I sold one for $200 i think a while ago so for a cheap power up grade its good value for money.
  12. Keep your GTS-T and thrash it and buy a 32 GTR stockie if you can find one and keep it in original condition. I only say this because I've got my 33 gts-t which i use a a daily which I've spent stupid amounts of money on and treat like a bitch but I'm looking at a 32 GTR to keep standard, to look at it parked in the garage, drive on weekends, look at it parked in the garage, clean it when it doesn't need it and finally, look at it parked in the garage.   13. Needed for 95 gts-t would prefer silver (color code KLO) but will take any good bar, if its got the reo thats a bonus. Will swap for a 400r fibreglass bar in silver with mesh or pay cash,$$$$ Help me drive into my driveway,LOL. Im in Sydney, near Liverpool. PM me, Thanks.
  14. Brake mods that lower the performane of brakes is illegal. Just get it fixed.
  15. I wouldnt use a blade i would use some plastic cut from a old icecream container or simular as its easy to scratch the paint if you get complacent.
  16. HAIR DRYER for the sticker and some turps or metho for the gummy residue then cut and polish .
  17. Your gauge or glasses should be looked at because if your engine overheats the gauge will rise and when it rises you stop, fix the problem or get a tow, because you continued to drive your car in a overheated state you have probably damaged the motor and will now drop its guts if you give it a bootfull for to long, $100 tow is a inconvenience but a new motor-priceless.
