  6. Amen to that. Spend the money now, and save a crap load later on and have something that you wont have to worry about ever.
  7. High rep, low weight, fast twitch (sprint style) exercise is what I'm on right now. Seems to work really well for speed and power. I also do a bit of cycling/running which is the cardio workout. I used to use Creatine, but it used to give me heart palpitations. Now I use no main stream supplements, but use Japanese green tea during the day (to get that caffiene/anti-oxidants and keep me awake during work!), over 1000mg Vit C and the balanced amount of Vit D (cod liver oil). I'm also on trace elements which are added to my water intake, and stop cramping after exercise. I take a iodine/selenium suppliment aswell, as we in Australia lack these in our diet. I mainly train with body weight exercise like climbing stairs on hands and feet (up and down), boxing and associated martial arts drills, chin ups, plyometric drills from the AIS, and find that a high protein diet is the best way of lean muscle. Plus you snack less... Before some extremely "strenuous" exercise, I carbo load and use creatine 3 days and increase my water intake to 3 litres a day. Bit of a biatch if you have to make weight though
  8. After doing what was recommended above, (check vacuum lines, and clean AFM etc.) Sounds like the AFM has given up the ghost. Replace the AFM with a new one (or second hand one) from a mate and see how it runs. If it fixes the problem, buy one and your done. If it doesn't fix it, then you need to check the fault codes on the ECU. This might tell ya what is wrong. From experience, the symptoms you describe is usually the AFM. Good luck!
  9. The best way of telling whether you have a problem is to plug the car into a laptop with diagnostic software (I bought some diagnostic software = "Nissan Data Scan" for my SR20DET for $40. You need a plug as well to plug into the OBDII plug on the ECU. which is under $100. THEN you can find all the problems with the motor and see if all the sensors are ok! Easy!
  10. The orange labelled AFM are Z32. The green ones are typically RB20DET from memory (but my memory isn't too good!). Basically you want to buy another green labelled AFM to replace the old one. I'm not sure about the pink ones, but hope i'm pointing you in the right direction. Perhaps the pink ones are RB25DET???

Synchros are still nice and smooth, I have never been to a track/strip with the car, so shock loading is minimal. Box was taken out when my NICS motor blew up (idler for the cam belt shat itself), and replaced with the box that came with the new silver top RB20DET (with around 80K on the clock.) 19. Currently any HID is illegal if it is aftermarket and not complianced as factory with the car. You cannot fit HID's to your car without them being factory fitted to your model. The reasoning behind this is because you are not in a position to interpret the ADR requirements whereas the automotive engineer/car designers are.
  20. Any after market boost controller is illegal. If cops see something that is a different colour, or something that doesn't look 'factory' it's game over. So either put it back to factory, or hide it and hide it well. The reason an aftermarket boost controller is illegal is because it changes the 'factory' emissions.
