It all comes down to image, Nissan will look like idiots recalling this model of their range, this is surposed to be their top of the range model. It is much better to keep things like this low key, and lets face it this issue isn't really going to make headlines unless someone is unlucky enough to die because of it failing (chances are pretty remote) so they will just replace it as they come across it.

that may be so doof, but i bet you the autosalon one would have cost the same amount of 1000 of these things, nor would it have character, also the autosalon one could be all show and no go for all we know, atleast this one is floating. and yeah if i had that much money i'd be doing excentric things with it aswell, i've always wanted a toilet in the skyline, might aswell throw in a spa bath aswell, and make it into one of those amphibious cars while i'm at it so i can go fishing with the car...

Spotted my dad and myself getting spoken to by highway patrol at the Dural car was behind maccas, aparently we were doing 70 in a 60 zone up the hill on new line road, he recons he first saw us at 90 going up the same hill but only clocked 70 with his radar mounted on the side of his car with heavy traffic around..... somehow we were breaking the law so bad that he let us of???? go figure, still if I was in the R33 i'd be posting a "help me I got defected" post instead of this. That or he would have pulled out the street racing thing... anyway got nothing because there was nothing wrong, probably just wanted to look at the cars closer or something

Saw these in Thailand, I think the Tuk Tuk was epic, it was all pimped out with R33 tail lights, exhaust, Massive sound system and assortment of led's and black lights.... did anyone notice the 2JZGTE engine and turbo on the boat???? DAmmit ive just zoomed into the pic now at home and i realise the potential that shack boat might have had, from a distance i didnt notice what engine it was But still wtf? on a boat? I only saw one supra in Bangkok city...

ahhh nearly forgot, i saw a red Ford GT at Aubrun today, it was the supercar club one... but still a Ford GT nonetheless

you'll get nothing for the skyline at the moment, people are holding out for desperate sellers and offering nothing for them, only way to get rid of it is to swap it for another JDM at a car yard and get an S15 that way... other than that you will be insulted by the offers. I'd keep the skyline and save, leaVE the exterior things and luxuries like the sub ect.... just maintain the engine

everyone on this forum buys a car partly due to how people will percieve them in the car..... if we didn't then we'd all be driving the cheapest reliable car money can buy (1970's carolla anyone?) you can make that go faster than anything, it does the job of A-B quite fine, and with some tinkering it can drift better than most mildly tuned S15's. We are all influenced by peer pressure or how other people will perceive us, if we didn't we wouldn't have an economy or society like we do today. And if anyone says otherwise tell them Uncle Tom said to stop being knobs

yup i was thinking the exact same thing..... a $160k super car shouldn't really need any upgrades so soon, even if it was driven soft or hard (launch control is a different issue), i'm looking into the R35 in the next couple of months and i'd sure as hell expect the issue to be fixed under warantee if it ever arose. And if these guys are replacing parts on their ADM R35's and still expecting to get the same after sales support and free replacement of broken parts, then they have another thing comming, we all know the R35 trnsmission has already had a few issues, whos to say no other gremlins will come out from hiding in the future...

i'd sure hope my next new car comes with new valve caps aswell

get it done in Thailand, i looked into it last week after noticing they love to rice out there cars, bikes and tuk tuks ect.... around 10 000 baht (around $350 AUD) for a whole car, any car depending on how hard the paint is to mix up, and the jobs i saw were equivalent to our standards here, and when you think of it, why are our spray painters charging us so much anyway? not like they went to uni and studied for 7 years to do it....
