fair enough i change my topic.... Why doesn't the Australian East Coast have Autobahns then.... Linking, Brizzy, Syd, Melb and maybe Adelaide and most places inbetween? Re-educate the drongos to keep left unless overtaking, while doing this people don't have to take the dangerous roads that seem to have bends in it for no reason and people tend to die on the preexisting intercity linking roads that are grossly too small to handle the traffic flows and they have useless bends and corners in them.... SHould we go into the next election with that campaign??? lol

also the highway patroll v8's are loaded up with so much heavy equipment that they really arnt all that quick compared to the standard version of the ss and xr8's

yeah thats a fair point, taxis should be cars that use less fuel.... hybrids are a rought though, a 1.6 litre VW golf produces less C02 emissions than a toyota prius, and the golf takes off much faster.... then the diesel version produces even less C02 and its still faster than a prius lol. And ofcorse a 800hp GTR should out run the CLS.... seeing as the cls has 730hp, but then again it does produce 1100nm of torque and has a 7 speed electronic gear box and it is crowned the Fastest sedan car ever made..... i'd love to see that showdown on Munichs autobahns. And another point, why don't we have autobahns, Australia is one of the biggest countries with the most sparse population and it has the least amount of people living in it per square kilometer, we are the driest continent in the world (excluding antarctica), and we are the flattest continent with an average elevation of only 16 meters above sea level..... brings me back to a new point of WHY DON'T WE HAVE AUTOBAHNS???? If the Germans can learn to keep the inside lane free for overtaking only, i'm pretty sure we could learn... Then their would be a point to having nearly all of NSW race tracks closing down lol

well in my post i did say "excluding gov charges, duty ect." for brand new price, and for 2nd hand price with extras and orc included you still end up loosing nearly half the CLSAMG price in 2 years so yeah i agree. But thats why FRESH 2nd hand is more fun lol. saw a nice GT2 today driving through city this morning, race prepped, sounded nice

PS: if moderators or execs or whoever think that i shouldn't have sent that, then i quit sau nsw club and retire the execs role, because i wont have anything to do whith such a club that doesn't uphold the law, try to drum in sense into a hoon, while potentially this inexperienced driver could really end up killing someone you know. Epic fail, first you need to really change your attitude and re-evaluate your priorities, your response was even worse than your first statment. yes everyone speeds.... hooning is fkn a much bigger issue, it doesnt matter if you do it every day or when your angry, to public go out to industrial sites is a wank job, and to make matters worse is your attitude and your justification for it. When i was 20 years old? mate i just turned 23 so no i wasnt an angel, but i wasn't as stupid as you and i have NEVER HOONED either.... Who cares if your "family" used to hoon around, does that make it ok for you? If it makes you sleep better at night i guess you can think what you like. re voythie, i dont think thats the smartest thing you have said on this forum. There is NOWHERE in sydney that is safe enough to hoon around in on the streets and not have a risk of killing yourself or other drivers. Theres gutter, poles, buildings and other cars that you can hit. For your own safety and pocket (including criminal records) please don't do this. I don't care if the execs get shitty at me for saying this, but if thats going to be your attitude, hooning around on the streets with no regard to public safty, i'll man up and say straight out that we don't want you to join this club or talk on the forum. We try very hard to change the publics view about our cars and about our club, and we don't need another hero giving the rest of us enthusiasts a bad name. If you understand where i'm comming from (and really i dont care if you do or don't), then you can come back to sau and gain help from us if you need it, if you ignore me, then your not welcome here.
