good win for Nissan, but still to be fair, at that last turn he didnt use the whole track with the 911 while comming out of the corner on a wet track. But still at half the Price even if the 911 tied with the GTR, the GTR is still the winner.

well there was no need for that comment, we have left it behind because its way off topic...

So was this magazine an Australian magazine???? Also as much as I hate american muscle, I would have to say that from the evidence I have seen, the ultimate performance car (even cheaper than a GTR) would have to be the corvette ZR1 at the moment. Or have I been watching too much youtube? Too bad there made of plastic and steel and too hard to bring to Australia....

that does make sence, and i love your idea at the end

i very much dissagree with the highlighted part you said but we're all entitled to our opinions no matter what they are. also i am not going to read the rest of the post so back to main topic as i think if i reply to the post in more detail we will go way way way off topic. You have a nice car Linton, i checked the pics out, it looks very mean and clean, good work

number 2: they take calculated risks Number 3: they arn't afraid to be different to the masses and think in a different way number 4: they have balls or alot of good luck (one or the other)

Fair enough and good on you for doing it that way but may i ask whats unethical about realestate? Also if people throughout history don't aim high, we would still be living in caves, We wouldn't have modern medicine... if you have had to go to hospital in your life, you wouldn't have been able to be alive today if it wasn't for doctors, drug companies, chemists, scietists.... the internet or the computer you are reading this on? I'm just saying that if everyone shared your ideaology life as we know it would have been very different to what we know today.

$800 wtf, i had no idea they were that expensive... Take controll, at the end of the day its your hard earned money and most mechanics dont really care about finding the best price because its not their money.... Ring around wreckers, scroll through the sau private selling threads, theres always a car being stripped. $800 is a crazy price

lol the rexy patrol car.... boy did they die in the ass, i remember the coppers saying they were going to use the wrx to keep up with the street racing/tuner/import croweds and so they couldn't be out run anymore.... lol then a couple months later they were winging about how crap the gear boxes were during a pursuit (stripping 2 gears at a time lol) The GTO is abit scary on a straight line though

What Is Everyone's Obsession With Saying 'jdm'?
Kujotk replied to Rolls's topic in General Automotive Discussion
people that actually use the Term "JDM" are JDIdiots full stop. That or your a yanky or a kiwi, in which case your excused if your alittle slow lol -
call up Nissan, they usually get them in, and usually same price as Just Jap and generalyy much closer than working your way to the shire

Hey guys, Well as D-Day aproaches I need to confirm if you guys are still interested in helping out on the day? Or if anyone else wants to help can you please put your name down on here and i'll get in contact with you via PM. We need people to man the club desk, man the gate, and generally wander around and help out spectators that may have questions or other general duties that may need to get done such as helping out anywhere to make the day run smoother. Even if you can only spare a couple of hours, it would be greatly appreciated by everyone. Cheers

What Would You Do To A Car Before You Traded It In...
Kujotk replied to Haysey's topic in General Automotive Discussion
funny story while we are sortof on the topic... My old man had a Rolla Silver Spirit yonks ago, we sold it about i dunno 15 years or so ago to a car yard, traded it in for a merc and got money our way. The thing is the car looked the part, it started and sounded well, but it had a blown head gasket lol, $30k job on that car back then... A eropean used car yard didnt bother to see if the thing had any gutts lol, oh well not my job to check it, thats why they have mechanics... *disclaimer SAU doesn't condone my post nor do i, wasn't me who traded the car in -
true that, I recon that all Audi's look the same lol..... Yes it is slow for what it is and the money you put in it, there are quite a few cruising around now. But i think the GTR should have won that award hands down purely because it is a performance car that wont really break the budget (assuming your looking for something alittle under the $200k margin anyway)

Tell him to get this.... i'm still waiting for a perfect example to come by and i'll grab one myself. I think they are the bees knees when it comes to looks http://www.carsales.com.au/all-cars/privat...id=1250DA4D6DFA

lol i loved this comment, i sat back and had a laugh

+1 that is a god awefull car

I agree, who cares about the back seat argument, you don't drive from the back seat, its a racing car for christ sake. The dashboard comment is absolutely stupid, i bet you in 5 years every car will have the (playstation feel) to it, most cars have already started... And the fixed paddle shift is much much better than having one that moves around with the wheel, in the merc my dad has, the paddles move with the steering wheel and they are the most useless things unless you are in a drag race or on slight bends and turns, when your comming out of a spirited drive and your searching for that gear paddle you have no idea where it will be so you always go for the traditional gear lever to change gears. I hope Nissan doesn't change the paddles because of that stupid review. lol and Birds the R8 is far from the NSX, the R8 is basically a Lambo that was assembled in germany and has a better shell on it lol
-
lol no idea what role the concept car will have lol, it can't even go on a road unless its dead flat lol...... good for doing highway patroll on an airport runway lol.... thats about it. "hey you in the 747, do you know why I pulled you over? doing 312km/hr in a 60 zone!!!" lol

what did Vin Diesel say in the original Fast and the Furious???? inch or a mile.......

What Would You Do To A Car Before You Traded It In...
Kujotk replied to Haysey's topic in General Automotive Discussion
why does it have to be in good working order? Aslong as it starts it'll be fine, most car yards that sell euro cars don't bother trying to resell the trade in at their own yard, they usually ship them straight to auction.... they usually check general condition inside and outside and if it sounds good at idle, start up and neutral revving.... import is another story but for vectra they shouldnt really bother about much else... have fun trying to get the vectra to wheel spin lol -
lol he bought an ex cop car...... life expectancy isn't very good after being thrashed its whole life on cold starts and what not
-
hahahah omg i think i get what your trying to say but the highlighted part made me laugh lol... but the government wastes our tax money on heaps of useless things.... an autobahn isn't useless though, seing as our states along the east are so spread apart and the land and money is there why not build a straighter road with more than 2 lanes.... really in this day and age with the technology and the money Australia has, why do we need stupid turns and corners on our interstate freeways? Yes they pay tolls in Europe to maintain their autobahns.... but we pay stupid tolls here in NSW to maintain motorways that are congested, overpriced and dangerous to drive on because they are privately owned and are not maintained properly anyway.... Besides in Europe the tolls are not that expensive anyway, the gf's cousin in austria says they pay about $100 a year for unlimmited use of the autobahns in a year.... thats allot cheaper than even travilling from the west to the city of sydney and back for 2 days....
