  1. So does this work on Vista 7 64 bit???? i'm asking because L4D doesn't
  2. NAh its just Italian lol, like the fire wall isnt the best and when you are driving the car without air con, the cabin will heat up because of the engine heat, the seats are one of the worst in the world by my standards, i have no idea why they thought that seat design is good, if you sit in it for a long drive, say 3 hours or more, you start to get pains in your back and legs. And i'm not the only one, my mum, dad, gf and people in online forums all say it, but thats the price you pay to own such a car. Its not a bad car to drive, its far from bad, its beautiful, but it does have its usual super car flaws in it lol. Next car is DB9, i think they are the SEX
  3. I dissagree, if money is no object i would take the opposite view to you, the GTR in 10 years will be worth (well here in australia) what about half of its current price? even less maybe, we will see how it goes but looking from the R32 gtr's thats the only thing we can compare to. The 360 has already lost most of its value, i still think the 360's here in australia in another 10 years will be worth about $100k (look at every other ferrari model in history in OZ) then usually they stay at that price for another 20 or so years, then the bastards go up in price lol. By the time the 360 goes up in price, the GTR would have probably been traded in for $500 scrap metal (unless it becomes a rare collectors car like the gt falcons and SL5000 Toranas) Its almost impossible to predict what the car market will do in 10 20 30 years time, but what ever happens the ferrari will be a safer bet. If money is no object get both, but get a brand new ferrari instead of the 2001 lol
  4. SaME choice here in sydney, i was looking at r35's and i was astonished when i foound a few 360's cheaper than a new R35. I went Maserati instead lol, even better value for money, only prob with the ferrari and maserati is there not the most comfortable cars around, so if you want to drive it around quite regularly and on long trips, i'd say get the R35, but if its to impress, or to have an amazing looking / sounding car and you want to be the centre of attention, go for Italian super cars instead. (but if your taller than 6 foot 3, you will have a fun time trying to fit into italian engineering)
  5. only experience i know of is my dads merc but it was with AAMI, He got insurance valued at $170k, but with all the custom work from the factory the delivery cost was above $200k, AAMI gave a valuation at $170k on the spot, but now he has to take it to an AAMI valuation centre to get the agreed level up to cover everything on the car. We havent done it yet but they garantee to give the price to cover everything aslong as its a traceable extra/modification. Meaning it was installed by the factory and there is a paper trail, or you have reciepts for the work thats been done to it. Are you including labour in the agreed value your after because i dont think they cover labour cost in an insurance valuation. i'll let you know when i find out more
  6. hmmm thanks guys not that one either, never mind, ive thought about it and i realised i dont really want anyone in the car who could potentially scratch or wreck the car in any way lol. I just kept getting PM's about doing year 12 formals and stuff and thouight that instead of sitting at home doing nothing i could be doing something like hire myself and the car out. But who am i kidding? it will end up looking beaten up allot quicker with people with no respect for other peoples property in my pride and joy.
  7. lol why are you saying sorry for? The GT2 is a much better car. I was looking at an R35 but i couldn't bring myself to spend that amount of money on something that the average person doesn't know what it is, although I am still in love with the R35 because of its performance factor. You feel more acomplished in a Porsche than a Datsun lol. I'm still young so if the good times stop flowing or i make bad mistakes in the future, atleast I didn't spend too much on a car and can hopefully dig my way out of any financial problems lol. I'm still happy with my choice, but i guess i can get a veyron if i sell my block of units..... but then i'll have to live in the car lol
  8. anyone playing L4D2 with 64 bit windows 7 operating system? the original L4D doesnt work on 64 bit....
  9. i don't know of the current statistics, but from past experience and stories from the folks, I keep getting reminded that most of the time the wrongs that have been done to you are usually done by people you know and trust.... but what can you do???? hope you get the prick who stuffed your car up
  10. sorry to be a copy cat, but thought you guys would find this interesting, boy have times and attitudes changed towards the V35. Most of yo0u guys really hated it. I assume the car in question was the 4 door version. Good to see there are some familiar faces on this thread that are still on now. ok no more diging in the past for me lol
  11. lol you guys, back when this thread was running i was still in year 10 lol
  12. red R35 on M2 about 6pm on saturday evening
  13. thanks, thats not the one, its a site where the owner still drives the car, and people hire the owner to drive them to an event or function ect...
  14. does anyone know of a site where you can place your car up for rent for formal and parties ect.... there was a website that was doing it but now i cant find it??? any help?
  15. sorry if you want it posted it will have to be organised yourself, post code of pick up is 2154.
  16. Yeah JEM should be better now, last time they had 2 dynos running but they had only just been installed so they werent very efficient at the whole idea, but its been a year so they should be able to get the runs in constantly now.
  17. First car i bought, 2002 Kia Rio 5 door (wasn't old enough to drive till 2004 lol), massively stupid sound sytem and black lights in the cabbin were the only mods. 2nd car was R33 GTS-t, currently has the usual bolt onns, had the sound sytem in there for a while, now trying to sell the sytem because i'm over that scene. (still current car) 3rd car is a Maserati 3200gt 3.2 litre V8 twin turbo 4th car (future car) will hopefully be a 360 modena F1 wohooo

  22. Hahahah i didn see the wave, i only noticed the number plate at the last second lol and there were idiot drivers infront of me who kept brakeing up the hill
  23. ??? the vibe i got is you are using the same wire and same lightbulbs, is thi the case? if so its more likely there is an exposed wire somewhere and its earthing. if you have changed bulb watt or using different wire then yeah its a resistance thing
  24. ok well guess when the $ goes back to shit we should see the same coils go in excess of $1200, we'll see how many they sell then lol
