  1. Not to stray off topic too much, but I think it basically depends on availability. Cam gears are cheap and popular, so I would expect a supplier to hold quiet a bit of stock. More expensive and unique items, I wouldn't, because who knows how long they would have to sit on them before sale. For the record I ordered some Greddy Front Extension Pipes through Nengun. It took just over 8 weeks for the order to be sent from Japan, and three weeks to clear customs. All up, almost exactly 3 months. I was in no rush, and Nengun kept me informed (delay was due to JP holidays and Greddy having to actually make the item), thankfully
  2. Yes, but as I said before I really don't see the problem when you can just buy two and splice one on to the existing plug and cable? (Edit: I'm not trying to be argumentative, I just honestly don't see the issue. Am I missing something?)
  3. I don't have FAST to confirm via part numbers, but I would be 99% sure there was no change.
  4. Yes but the GTS-t wing is weak. IMHO the GT-R wing is tough and suits the car.
  5. See here
  6. Sure, but its not like you can set an arbitrary date
  7. Why 93? Its not as if the post-93 cars don'have ceramic wheeled turbos.
  8. How bout the exact model number
  9. Don't worry about it. Might be worth trying out one of those voltage stabiliser kits if it bothers you (and let me know how it goes, because it bothers me ).
  10. Yes, I agree... I'm already heading down this path. New dump/front already ordered, PFC ordered, bigger exhaust ordered, will have to get cam gears (would prefer poncams + gears, but $$$), probably end up with new turbos shortly. Its a bit of a trap. Still, I figure if you get small enough replacement turbos you can still have them near their effeciency range whilst only getting 250-odd rwkw but still have headroom. That way you can keep the stock fuel system (and cams), not have a laggy ho, and when funds allow additional upgrades get a nice extra kick. At least the rest of the stock parts aren't a ticking time bomb.
  11. You and me both. Its bizarre that a couple of grand on new turbos suddenly seems like "cheap" insurance
  12. Mmm.. that's very clever Are you just going to use the manual adjuster or get one of those swish electronic controllers that changes the valve automagically?
  13. Just email him asking for whatever you're after...
  14. Depends on the item, but standard GST/import duties apply. This may change in the near future if the proposed free trade agreements with some of our Asian neighbours go ahead.
  15. According to SK from his Stagea beltchange thread:
  16. Its school holidays, obviously, so ignore the above.
  17. Simple answer is no. You can get a lot more bang for buck. A few helpful threads are yielded with a small search: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...s&highlite=rb24
  18. Don't take this the wrong way, but: 1. This has nothing to do with forced induction. 2. SEARCH. Yes, it sounds like a cliche but HICAS issues have been covered extensively. For some useful threads: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...icas+%2Bproblem
  19. Nissan, and its a couple of hundred IIRC.
  20. It sounds like its missing, hence the weird sound. Could definately be a fouled plug (alternatively, perhaps there is still water around the coil). Seems to be very common when people wash their GTS-t engine bays without sufficient care.
  21. Yank the fuel pump fuse and let the car die. Try and turn it over a couple of times and you will use up most of the remaing petrol. Have a rag to catch the rest.
  22. Meh: I only work about 12 hours a week at the moment, so $25 is too rich Still, that good value considering you probably wouldn't get out of a full carlovers cycle with much change from $15-odd (plus your own labour/time obviously)
  23. Here, let me fix that for you....
  24. My car gets washed maybe once every three months. I swear that every time I wash the fscking thing it rains the next day (almost always after a long dry spell, so it deposits a heap of dirt too) It sits in a garage most of the time so its not a major issue. I think people washing their car once a week are nuts, but that's just me. Maybe I value my time too much? As for water restrictions, I always try to abide by the craptastic bucket thing, but its so retarded. A quick hose is so much more effecient than trying to accurately throw a buck of water over a car. Frankly, I don't think that restriction was designed to actually save water, but actively discourage people from washing their car by making it a hassle. If I had a decent full time job I'd just pay for someone else to wash it every three or four weeks.
