Actually you may lose performance. There's been a few cases where people have replaced faulty fuel pumps and lost power...The reason, the faulty pump maintained a lower fuel pressure hence leaning out the engine slightly.

Hahahaha probably should have done that! I think she cracked the sads becuase i prioritised my cars wellbeing instead of her hunger and her need to be accompanied to macdonalds. She still doesn't understand that the car is part of our relationship :-p

My girlfriend has a pretty neutral attitude to my 34. She's saving up for a car and suprisingly she is really considering an r32 so something about them must appeal to her. The only thing that irritates me as girls cannot seem to grasp how much the car means to you. For example, today we passed by maccas. I drove into the car park and observed a busy carpark with a number of 4wd wielding mothers (The worst demographic for damaging parked cars). I told my girlfriend that i would wait in the car whilst she went in and got what she wanted. This wasn't good enough, she's been in the shits with me all day.

Could be defective afm. I can replicate this problem by disconnecting it: TCS & Slip lights remain on Check engine light on Car doesn't idle properly I would recommend doing a diagnostic check either with a console cable or by shorting out 2 pins on the console plug and observing the flash pattern (Theres a tutorial about this on the forums somewhere). Hmm even though i have only come accross Pettett twice, i think if you can genuinely prove you aren't a silly person he will show you nothing but respect. I have no problem with him pulling me over. In fact i hope the next time i'm pulled over, i hope it's him!

I recently spent a night at Mills cottage in como cottages olinda http://www.comocottages.com/ We had a fantastic time. Spa, open fire. Ultimate romantic place. Went up to sky high for dinner. Will cost you about $260 a night on fridays/saturdays or $195 during the week. Highly recommended

Close, i sent an email to him about the legality of my wheels a few months ago. Never got a response but when he pulled me over last night he remembered about it. He used a caliper to measure the wheel which came out to be 9.5"

My rear wheels are 0.5" wider than placard specs No road worthy, no fine. Just replace and get cleared at vic roads

Yer Steve was pretty cool. He said my car was in good nick compared to some other skylines he has seen. Also commended me on not having a heap of stupid stickers all over the car. Was a pretty good experience.

Sure was but he knows me pretty well by now, had a laugh and a joke about a few things. He even remembered about an email i sent him about my wheels a few months ago. Got the wheel calipers out and said they were 0.5" too big. He said he won't worry about it though. He got me on bald tyres, i knew they were close to the wear indicators but he pointed out that the insides were absolutely gone. I had no idea they were that bad. Had a bit of a chat and he gave me the defect notice with the maximum amount of time to clear. Pettett is a good bloke when you have a good attitude and he knows you aren't a wanker. His partner was friendly too, liked the look of my car. The man knows his stuff, and he is doing a bloody good job keeping the roads safe. We were having a go at dickheads that drive skylines in a stupid manner and spoil it for everyone else.. A positive experience for me. Just ordered some new rubber, so i'll have it cleared in no time.

Just had my 34 tuned at RE customs with the DFA. Managed to go from my previous dyno figure of 161.7rwkw to 177rwkw. AFR's are much nicer. Ray figured out the DFA fairly quickly, all up taking around 45 minutes. Very happy with the results, high end response is significantly better.
