Item: R33 Clutch Age: Used for about 2 months Condition: Worn spots, but i don't know what % is used or not. Price: $185 To Fit: (What car) R33 GTST Location: Central Coast -> Castle Hill Contact: PM or post Comments: I bought this clutch new but had slipping problems dues to the power i was making (247rwkws) I've since bought a stronger one and replaced it. Alrighty then, it is a nice light foot clutch even though it's a 7 pucker. Seriously wsa very suprised and happy (at least for a little while) due to the ligt feal..absolutely no heavier than standard. So if you have a standard car, i reckon it would still be OK, even if upgraded to the usual...standard turbo on 200rwkws. It did just hold up on the dyno tune to 247 rwkws with my HKS turbo If you can find my dyno results post, you can see a slight waver in the curve near the top....i'm guessing that's the slipping. So this is now lower than half price but obviously used somewhat. Just trying to re-coup some of my losses. The pics show the wear, or you can inspect in person if need be. Cheers Birnie pics here : http://people.aapt.net.au/jason1973/Ebay/ (it's not on ebay, it's just where i dump items for sale)

I'm a bit confused on a few things... 1) getting nearly 1400Nms? 2) If you hit speed/limit, how come it still goes past 7000rpms after hitting that limit? Looks more like a power/time graph ? Anyways, anywhere around the 200rwkws is great, i know what it feals like (got the 98' too champ ) I did a dyno run for the exact same reason as you too, and at the same level of mods. Stopped at 12(ish) psi and got 196rwkws i think? Now go get the Power FC and watch the smile on ya dial get even wider

I did this today. I was extremely worried what would happen to that coil/spring tensioner when the motor was removed, so searched and found this post. (thanks moobaque) Anyway, i had the screw driver in there....and a pair of multi-grips jammed in too cause i was pretty worried of the whiplash.. Then, after heaps of looking at it, just got my multi-grips at their widest setting and just popped the spring off instead! No more problems It only travels an extra 1/4 turn or less. Also, when getting it back on, the largest grip will grab the sping but clamping the multis wont make the distance to get it back on. So i used 2 sets of multis (had a crap pair i never used floating around)....so pulled as tight as i could with the 1st set, then transferred to the other set on a smaller setting...hey presto! Back in business with a working power window Schweeeet

This is the one you want ............... http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Pi...all-t95914.html (post 5) -
Cordial ! I like it ! Get some Nismo Fuel Cordial Injectors - 555ccc's (cordial cubic centimetres)

The GTR pump is good but saying it is a drop straight in, is not quite right THere's a bit of fiddling and choping and if you're not confident, you'll give up...or if you do get it in, you might get some noise from hitting the tank if you were a bit off. But then, again, this applies to any of the Bosches too. I'm not trying to paint a bad picture on the them, they're all good options but the only Drop In option is a Tomei or Nismo Absolutely no fabrication needed whatsoever. Evrything required is in the pack. ....and, apparently Walbros aren't up to the task, which gets mentioned quite alot and peeps still buy em cause they're cheap.... (i think their flow rates are true on a different amp/voltage of something...maybe 14volts? where the Nissan is 12volts?)
-
As far as the Veyron goes, is it the weight/handling/breaks on the corners that lets it down ? Cause outright speed/acceleration it would kill the GTR right?

I hope these guys don't work for Pimp My Ride ! "We gunna put a 42" plasma on da roof" "gunna replace all that readout shit with a crap MP4 player....i thought they only went to 3! and a G-Sensor? who needs that" "lets put a bubble machine in"

R33 Parts For Sale

Someone said GTR's were no good. I'm sure they are fine, as they are top feed. If 250rwkws is the aim, they should be fine...... and someone else said they had some for sale? Go for that !

The HKS actuator might be set to 1bar (14.5 ? psi) That's near breaking point of these turbos. Better off using 10psi actuator and bleeding up to about 12psi. if it's adjustable, keep the HKS one on and reduce the psi. Either way, it's worth $100+ so keep it for later upgrades or sell it for some buckaroons

Hey Paulr33, Thanks for that info, i had no idea. Still a bit sketchy on how it works but hey, i can't know/learn everything overnight Cheers..Birnie

I don't know the technical answers to your questions but 1) Listen to the Mafia, as the stock FPR are fine for well over 300rwkws. 2) Maybe try replacing your fuel filter? Might not be the prob ut if it is, that's an easy $15 fix (there's a DIY thread somwhere)

I thought u cut the line on YOUR car for the water line!! Re read it a few times.....phew You'll be right, all in reverse order. Schweeet ! Keep your old actuator for the nice 10psi istead of 5.

I've got one of these setup on my basic single turbo R33 I'm not saying you're wrong but this is the FIRST time ever i've heard of that feature on the FC-boost-add-on unit? Boost correction? changing timing/injection depending on boost levels???? please elaborate? I know tha AVC-R has boost levels depending on which gear you're in but that's about the most advanced feature of heard of? But yeah, i reckon the add-on is great. I think the so called shit myth...is a myth. Anyone had personal bad experiences with em? Also, if we're going to post how much power we're makng with which EBC, may as well state the boost level too which i think is relevant.. or better yet, a dyno sheet with the nice flat boost curve. Me, i'm on the FC add on with 246rwks.....on 18psi. Works fine including switching between 4 different boost settings. Nice and descrete I'm sure they're all good anyway.
