  1. Great read and vids, lucky so and so. Had my GTST now for 4.5 yearsand I've never been in ANY model GTR, as driver or passenger. You get to drive the R35 ya bastard ! Good onya Had a bit of a laugh at the "long legs" comment. Couldn't stop thinking of South Park...."You have very big peeeeeenus"
  2. is there a Donut King corner on the circuit? Should organise a group of SAUers with pink Donut King director chairs, all eating donuts out of their pink bags waving em around as the car goes past. (SAU shirts of course) That's sure to get you on TV ! Plus it would look hella funny
  3. I can see where you're coming from....but.....more boost means more power. It's the pwoer that is produced that kills the rods. If you theoretically could produce 30psi and make 150rwkws, your engine would be fine (excluding gaskets) But if you had 10psi making 350rwkws, then your engine would be screwed...understand ?
  4. had a real quick flick thru the past dyno figures. I saw 2 at 255rwkws on about 1 -> 1.1bar but they can take heaps more than that. Don't know why they don't push em harder ??
  5. I remember the 2530 being aimed at the 2litre and the 2535 for the 2.5litre... But the GT-RS is better than both so i'd think it'd be great on the 2.5 ???
  6. When calculating you AVERAGE output for the turbos, there a quite a few dyno figures in that thread (from memory) with peeps switching turbos and posting up results without the thing fully tuned and boosted up... These results should be dropped from your calulation as they would be dropping your average. Don't want someone with a 2835 running 12psi on a standard ECU or similar. So, a GCG/RS/2835 should see you to 250+ with the last 2 going a few higher again. You just need to find the right results.
  7. I've also heard they have stronger internals, as in the rods.....so that's a plus making it better for bolt on mods
  8. GTR injectors are usual upgrades for the R32 GTST( correct me if i'm wrong) S15's fit in the R33 GTST, and i agree they will make good power. I'm on around 250rwkws now with em with no probs, heaps of room to go.
  9. Just throwinf ideas out there cause i dont know the answer..... Did you have to solder up the new wires? I had to so i could use the original ECU wiring to the old solenoid. There's only 2 wires.....are they around the right way? ...even if you didn't have to solder, check the colours match up correctly thru the connector.....ie...red to red
  10. ....and they should make a Momo/Donut steering wheel
  11. It must be a pretty bloody exciting project for some CEO out there.
  12. I have absolutely no idea, don't know any of the car models without having to look em up....but just to be in it.... It'll take 10th...shifting Ascari to 11th. Prove ME wrong
  13. Which year model R33, i realise Series II but the 98's are different Thanks (or part number even better....)
  14. hah, yeah that's right Dale ! .....although Ben has joined the club too Just check my settings as i forgot all about it since being tuned by The Hitman, He has em setup as 72.0 % and +0.10 Latency?? Go figure. As far as the 72% goes, i guess his full tune would be applied to that setting so i wouldn't advise using that as a temporary figure to get to the tuners......stick with the 82.5..it's a proven working setting, then let the tuner do whatever they want. PS...The Hitman RULZ !
  15. Or the part nuber for a Series II - AirCon Compressor ?
  16. I ordered the 15W yesterday...waiting for delivery 6110's not working with the CK-7W's? That's odd. It's actually a pretty simple device only looking for Bluetooth devices so i can't see why it wouldn't if it has Bluetooth? CK-7W is a great/simple/cheap unit by the way. Have one in the Skyline now. There is a 20W but i can't find much info on it. Only has pics of the little swivel unit ??
  17. Chuck in the disk and hit RIP using Windows Media player. Don't need any extra software. And yes it rips to MP3
  18. Wow the 616 is a pricey kit. Must do a good job though I've bought a non-nokia kit once before and it sounded so bad, i took it back and bought another cheaper Nokia that sounded better. What sort of feedback on the Parrots?
  19. Hey peeps, Just after peoples opinions on mobile phone kits, what your are using or seen and prefer. I'm currently using a Nokia CK-7W and think it's great. Cost about $115 delivered. Has Bluetooth connectivity and you can press a button to answer, or press and hold and say the name to call (if it can recognise what you say) I was thinking of getting another one of those for our recent new car (non Skyline...and 2nd hand) But, I've also stumbled on the CK-15W which looks similar but has a fancy display. The best i can find is $229 delivered for that one. Anyone using other kits (preffereably Bluetooth) that you could suggest? Cheers..Birnie
  20. FYI... Just to give an update on anyone else wanting this...and this thread is REALLY old... I rang Greg today for prices for a different car, but he also mentioned it's still $150 for the 2 door skylines. Happy New Year Mofo's !!
  21. Yeah, huess it would, but depends if the dyno owner was looking for it. If only a power run, they might not have cared. And pulling the timing isn't something you can't really see.
  22. 10psi on the high-flow will be FLOWING alot more air than your standard turbo, even with both set to 10psi. You might be hitting rich-retard but geeze it dropped alot ! I had my HKS turbo with an R32 actuator on 10psi with no boost controller, and i think it might have even been pinging when pushing it so just be carefull 10psi isn't 10psi if you know what i mean. This might not even be the problem, but i thought i'd throw it out there
  23. Interesting results Ben! You should post it up in the s15 injector thread (wherever it is) 510cc !!!! far out ! As said earlier, i have these and getting 246 rwkws in ealry 80's %
  24. Great article! I'm starting to like that fact that they dropped EVERYTHING and started from scratch. Even the mighty RB26. It even makes the R34 GTR (doesn't everyone want one?) look, dare i say....old ??
  25. No idea what it is in mmHg, look at the reading on the hand controller
