  1. 1 hr with an expereinced tuner, maybe less for hitman. Not too much to change. That's fregan awesome by anyones standards ! Don't forget to post the results
  2. Yeah, that's right though. The advertised rating is under certain perfect conditions i believe and isn't always the same as what you get on the car. Just the way these babies are. For an R33, expect 440-450cc definately without an upgraded FPR Even more with the FPR of course
  3. I know, i couldn't help it. The best was when my nephew wrote down that he "road off" his motorbike after a crash
  4. Abosultely, definatley correct
  5. If you look at all my pics in order, it's like a little movie...sorta I did everything from the boot. Didn't need to worry about the back seat. The pic where you see it coming out is how it should sit. The upside doen U-shaped bracket is the top of the unit with gravity holding it in place. It's not to hard to understand if you look at all my pics. It shows the full bracket removed and how the pic is rotated is correct to how it fits in the tank. The back wall i was talking about is really the front, from standing at the rear of the car is pushing forward towards the front of the car....re-reading i should have said front wall You in Sydney?
  6. Have a look at the pics i posted in here : http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...20&start=20 Check the 2 pics, just above the pics with the fuel pumps on the glass table. The 1st shows the bracket with it slipped on/installed, hard to see but the angle is the best i could do. The second shows the upside down U-shped bracket coming out. You need to get your hand right in with the bracket ready in postition to slip on...ie rotated corectly. Go in...the up as high as you can, then slip it down while pushed against the back wall. Pretty much done by feel but it's not to hard, more fiddley than anything else. You;ll start getting a twisted back if you take too long....good luck
  7. Aha, i see, thanks for correcting my correction It's one of those things you could go round and around deciding. because you alter the air-flow signal to fool the ECU, in turn to change the amount of fuel that goes in...haha
  8. They look like the right ones to me. JDM or ADM doesn't matter, as long as it's manual.
  9. air-flow controller isn't really the right terminology is it? Air-Fuel controller i think is what you're after
  10. Just to add, i had mine tuned-only at Unigroup for $150 but that was ages ago so i don't think they are overpriced but maybe included the price of the unit and installation as someone else already stated
  11. I think if you remove the kick panel and lie it on the floor, it won't be standed anymore. ROFL....i kill me !!!

    Gps Devices

doesn't anyone run the Road Angel 3000? That's what i was thinking of getting too. www.ryda.com have em for $325 + $13 delivery, well that's the best i can find other than ebay. I realise these are cheaper probably for less features but i only want basic maps + some camera warnings considering I seem to be a bit blind to signs these days
  13. Got a Slide - Exedy Cushioned/button clutch. Hopefully not to hard on the leg for my commuter car... and not to hard on my granny shift changes
  14. All done on mods now with the 2535. Clutch bombed out though..haha It was still the standard one that was imported with the car so it's minimum 4yr old/standard. That's where CCT comes in. Can't enjoy the mods under the current clutch conditions But soon to be fixed Yeah for me!
  15. Found it Tinks ! It has to be "Central Coast Turbocharge" Not turbos, not turbines, not turbochargers !!! Bahhhh ! Anwyay, all good now How you been by the way?
  16. haha, no, it's all fine, they do all sorts of mechanical work
  17. Yeah, I'm guessing these are the copy HKS/Greddy BOVs that you see on ebay alot. ...but considering the simplicity of a BOV, i wonder how these perform compared to the original? they might be the go (meaning to sound positive here)
  18. Ahhh, sweet. I'll ring you guys next time (never heard of you until now) But anyway, last i used was Blair's at Peakhurst. They were cheaper by about $100 per tyre on my TOYOs I think i paid $290 for 255's/17s for the Trampios or whatever they're called. Worst quote was about $500 a fregan tyre !!!! Pffft. But on other tyres for my girlies car, found the local could match whatever i could find and Blairs weren't the cheapest. Your phone is your friend
  19. Hey guys/girls I want to ring Central Coast Turbos but i can NEVER find them when i 'google' or 'yellow pages' them??? I know it's not Turbos, and i don't think it's Turbochargers or Tubines. Can someone give me there business name or number please? Thanks Birnie (Maybe i'm just having a blonde day... Pure Blonde, hmmmmm beer)
  20. Mines slipping at the moment but only when i push about 1bar at certain points in the rev range. Enough to be anoying though. Is there some easy adjustment that can be made in the mean time to make it clamp a bit harder until the change is done?
  21. You suck ! I managed 5.08 or something like that on the rev/speed/metre with 194rwkws. wanted badly to crack the 5.00 but couldn't do it. Now on 239rwkws, tried again.....time for a new clutch ! Haha Sheeeeeet, good work though. Considering the GTR decides when 4/2wd is needed, i thought's be best to leave 4wd for sure! So for take off it will be 4wd, then it will be 2wd drive later on anyway, decided by the car, not you.
  22. Only need 1 on the exhaust side, that's correct. there's a group buy running right now for Arospeed Cam Gears. Heaps have those so get one of them. Cheap cheap
  23. Just out of interest, how much insurance would you pay on a machine like that? (R33 GTR, 250awkws) Particulalry what you sold cause if i upgraded, that's pretty much what i's want. You can PM me if you like. Just for comparisons sake, i pay $1280 for a R33 98 gtst, ....and maybe another reason they don't sell well is cause the R33 GTST's are pretty damn good in my opinion, particularly with a few nice mods to get it up to the 250rwkws.
  24. I used a socket extension piece and placed the 'female' end over the plastic teeth and tapped with a hammer. But if yours are completely gone, might be worth getting a replacement off a wreck or something and just busting that one off
  25. Sucks, but i'd let em go on the plastic ring bit. I've done mine 3 times and it's REALLY hard to get off. I used a socket extender and tapped...hard...with a hammer. Not as hard as this guy but hard enough to damage the plastic lips a bit. No biggie
