  1. Pliers are definately no good. theres a bolt near the back of the block you CAN get to, closer to the exhaust i think. Even thats fiddley but reasonably easy. The other bolt is the same with the same sort of pipe bracket. I needed a small spanner and 2 hands jammed in there and it was REALLY hard. Rang MANWHORE a few times for help . Eventually got it off, the bolt, then couldn't get the rest off....so put it all back on It's really sucks and found it easy enough just to cut it (the pipe) and do what the other guy did with those 3 pics Also had to remove the air-con pipe work for more room
  2. Bah humbug, peeps keep asking and it's not done yet Got clutch, waiting for an oportunity to put it in.....
  3. Some good info here........ http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...t=0&start=0
  4. What's a KX? Searhed google and ibanez and found diddley. Got any links or pics?
  5. Why would you change after a dyno run? Maybe driven 20kms tops after a full tune?
  6. If you're gunna do it, you might as well boost it 10-11psi while you're at it with a cheap bleeder. Make sure you have plugs gapped to 0.8mm 1st though. And yes, use the Hitman in Penrith
  7. I'll install it for $100
  8. I'd agree on the spark plugs, either gap what you have or replace the ones you got with gaps already at 0.8 i think May as well replace em while you're at it, you have to eventually anyway. I doubt its the coils on that sort of power. And i'd personally allow up to 12psi on the standard. ...but that's up to you, i had no probs for over a year before upgrading. 13-14 is getting dangerous, particulatly 14. ..but then again, some peeps prolly go bang on 11psi, but never heard/read of any real issues on 12psi
  9. HAHAHAHAHAHA !!!!!! That's awesome The first one was my dog by the way, not me. The litter fooker hot wired it
  10. I remember that nengun thread, they did themselves damage buy not putting up a simple advert saying "we will be on hols between such and such, please take that in to consideration when ordering" Same has happened in this instance from what i've read and experienced. If things are in delay, the more people you tell the better. Keep everyone informed i say. It;s like being stuck on a Cityrail train 10 years ago not going anywhere, no announcements at all made you go batty If you got a message (which they seem to now) saying that a tree killed the power and we're stuck for 2 hrs, at least you know and can make adjustments and deal with it. Not knowing what's going on is THE WORST !
  11. I would take an angle grinder to the camera that did that to me ! But seriously, that sucks big time and for such small amounts !
  12. i really don't know? I guess i must zone out a bit when commuting Also think, i'd resigned and was waiting out the 4 weeks to get the hell outta there and start the new job. So my mind was elsewhere for a good month or more. So i am seriously worried i'll get more
  13. and i guess the angle i'm trying to come from is.... They could book you on camera over a year and you wouln't know, then 12 months later send em all in the mail and say, oh by the way, you've lost your licence cause you've racked up 45 points. But if you were booked by a real cop and fined on the day, you might take it a bit easy after that. Maybe a stupid arguement but anyway
  14. i don't like my chances either, just thought i'd ask. Thing is, i've been commuting on that stretch for over 3 years and never been booked there. Now i change jobs, now commuting down Castle Hill way and 1 week before my last day.bang bang F*&^*&^ing bang ! Hopefully that's the last one. I got down over the years up to 11 points.. Behaved really well back down to Zero. Now, about 3 months after hitting Zero, i'm back on 9 !!! Freeeegan el !
  15. Hey guys, I got a speeding fine yesterday in the mail on a camera which i think i know it's location. Bugger, only low as in 70 in a 60kms, 3 points $79..blah blah blah Today i got 2 more on the same camera ! Different day than the first but both on the same day, one to work, and one on the way back. 70 and 72 in a 60kms zone, Question is, is that allowed (probably) If i'd got pulled over and booked the 1st time, you think you'd learn a lesson, but not 3 hits 3 weeks after Had a look around but can't fine any similar occurances. Maybe tomorrow I've lost my liscence with another 2 fines when i check the mail ??? :( Thanks.. Birnie
  16. Yup, that's me I did see your car Wink. Had just read your post about switching cars the day before and thouhgt it might have been you. Castle Hill Rd for me now, used to be Pacific Hwy. Switched jobs which really made me see how much my old job SUCKED ! Haha Hi Lizzeh !!!
  17. Sounds like something isn't hooked up correctly. Show us an under bonet pic with the hoses hooked up etc...
  18. Go back one page in this thread (to page 3) There's a pic of a Bosch 040 leaning against a tire with a kids hand in the background That is surrounded with some sort of rubber tubing thats been slit down the sound and put around the pump. He claims it to be nice and quiet so maybe try that? Make sense to me....
  19. You can pretty much tune anything on the standard AFM, just that you'll hit the top (20th) cell really early and be stuck with whatever that value is for any load point above, say 70%, so you lose resolution
  20. Yeah, HKS2535 has been in for AGES ! and i've only had about 1 week of full enjoyment out of it.. Injectors are in, the S15's, all sweet and hitting 85% tops Still waiting on my clutch to be delivered from Slide. I know he's having issues at the moment but an ETA would still be nice...grrrrrr Waiting for the Cushioned Button Clutch - Exedy It's fine to commute but useless to push at the moment. Before it was slipping, i was comig home on a rainy night on the freeway and squeeaing the throttle in 5th...think, that feels retty cool. 4th'll be fine, dropped into 4th at 120kms/hr, push the throttle.whizzzzzzzz...wheel spin, started to go sideways!!! Haha, all good though. quick undies change That'll teach me !
  21. Might aswell get a turbo, and some injectors while you're at it then..hehe (sweeeet !) Seriously though, try cleaning it first..that's easy with some spray electrical cleaner.
  22. Standard alone is no good. Standard with a TUNED safc should be fine They push approx 20% more fuel than standard injectors so if you only change the injectors, you'll be pushing 20% more fuel on every part of the ECU map. Nice blackish smoke I'm guessing, less power, and higher fuel consumption..that's if it starts

  24. New Z32 maybe? If so, you got a dud, same happenned to me and there's a thread here somewhere called 'maxed out at 190rwkws' or something. Bought a new one, genuine Nissan and all good. If it's standard, dunno. Didn't think it would max out at that level, getting close but not maxed out.
