  1. yeah, plug in the 0.75 ( i think it's 0.5 increments) 40 is your GAIN setting - or how fast boost comes on. The last figure is what the Boost Controller figures out for itself. Dont' worry about that one... It goes thru a short learning process and plugs that value in itself, so once changed from 255, you know it's got it locked in. Leave the 2nd value at 40 and go for a few runs in 2nd and 3rd maybe with a friend watching the boost levels. If it takes forever to get boost on, increase the Gain setting to make it come on quicker. If it comes on too quick, you'll get a boost spike before it levels out. Not the end of the world but frop it back a bit until you've found a nice balance.
  2. I know you seem to have moved on from the High Flow claim....but for future reference...this is what everyone was looking for (Original turbo on the top with higflowed pics below.....) http://www.gcg.com.au/Catalogue_Menus/Upgr...pgrade_gtst.htm
  3. I got in there again yesterday. One of the sissor arms was bent BIG TIME ! Bent it back flat as best i could with multigrips and a spanner for support. Back to raising and lowering OK with clearance of all the bits inside (not attatched to window yet) while looking down thru the top gap. Re-attachted the window and popped both plastic things back on (one looks cracked) As i rais it and inspect at the same time.....it get about 2cms from the top and the back sissor support pops out with a massive bang. I'm thinkg the horizontal track which is bolted to the glass could be rooted. Anyone got a smashed window with that piece intact?
  4. OK, just dit the pics You can see where the black electrical tape is, that's where i cut and soldered back to the original male/female plug. The reason i kept the original plugs and not the new plugs (which you can do, just cut on the other side of the plugs) is that the original Nissan plugs are mage for the metal bracket so might aswell use that to keep it nice and secure. Might be different for your GTR but see if it helps Looks like NC gets the pressure feed from the intercooler piping....and... COM continues the pressure feed to the wastgate.
  5. Hey guys, Been searching my brain out, THe window has physicall popped off both the front and back roller thingos and is now rattleing around insdie my door frame. Is the easily fixed or major dramas? I've had it popped off already, could get to the back roller and squeeze it back on with multi grips but the back would just pop off again when the window went up. THe sissor arms, are they supposed to be dead straight? The front one looks to be a bit curved but i don't know if thats normal or not? ANy help appreciated.
  6. the Map sensor pretty much was, detatch the original sensor, palce the new one in the same position, Plug n play, easy, used the same boost feed hole too odff the plenum. feeding the wires thru the firewall to reach the ECU was the hardest part as they don't leave much length to reach. I put the new solenoid in the old solenoid postion (R33 GTST).... The male plug you have going into the solenoid i chopped and soldered onto the old wires that fed the old solenoid...of course chopped to and soldered together to make a new fitting. So now i can still unplug the solenoid if for some reason i need to. (So i think there was a whole length of wire unused, long time ago now but it should still be boxed somewhere) I've just taken a photo on my phone/camera which doesn't show it too well but it may help. I'm at work again... so i can't access the home PC Don't suppose you are in Sydney anywhere? PM, coming too
  7. You need to plumb it in wherer the original solenoid was, and then make sure the wiring is setup corrcectly. The original wiring went to the original Nissan ECU, so the Power FC makes use of these already existing pins/wires so you need to have the solenoid tapped in to the original wires so it can use those channels to control the solenoid
  8. Hey mate, those photos are probably long gone but I'll check the PC. Also, I'm in the GTST so i don't know how that would compare to the GTR twin setup?? I can always take more photos..... Someone else has had issues with the setup and got it sorted on here with just typed responses. keep searching......but if you get stuck and really need pics, i'll get something for you. If you want....(i'm on night shift tonight and the car is downstairs) i can check where the pipes are going in and out.. Might be worth posting up pics of what you've done. Cheers....Birnie
  9. These are fine I have one installed, easy to use without having to put another bling box in your dash. As for being crap, that's crap. "No gain setting" ????? Shenanigans !!!! PS....running R33 with HKS2535, 250rwkws 18psi.....sweeet easy to switch settings. You'll be more than happy with it with a standard turbo or a GCG
  10. Get some 2nd hand s15 injectors and you should be OK HKS GT2535 is fine for about 250rwkws, maybe a tad less. I have both of the above on 246 but the clutch was slipping a tad so maybe enough to get the 250. (Results in the RB25 thread) 2535 is 2nd hand like you said. Check the Yahoo Auctions for a decent unit as they're getting scarce
  11. Post your plate/vin numbers in THE thread and someone there can reply with the true year make model colour everything, 98 models look the same as 96 except badges on outside rear panel, stiched on badges on the seat, As far as front bars and GTR wings, yes that's true but it was an optional extra. Some have, some dont. Also, i think they have the same CAS as the R34 but i have no idea what that looks like cmpared to old and new???
  12. Myabe your aircon is making the noise They can and do make all sorts of wierd and wonderful noises. Mine's on it's way out and i have metal grinding noises.
  13. Yeah, bought a REAL "genuine Exedy Kit" from a decent seller. Holds nicely and IS the real thing. Cheapest Genuine Exedy Kits in Australia ??????? Cheap??.. ABSOLUTELY ! Genuine?? ABSOLUTELY NOT !!!!!!!!!!!
  14. Agreed Don't need FPR or aftermarket manifold 1) Fuel Pump (can be done now while waiting without affecting tune) 2) Clutch, this is a definate. mine slipped straight away with the GT2535 and yours will pump out better power than that. (again, may aswell do it now) 3) Z32, another definate but might aswell do injectors/Z32/turbo then TUNE all in one hit, You will EASILY make 250rwkws with that turbo, expect more like 270 with awesome response. (Freegan jealous...)
  15. Someone was asking a few months back about red ones, but they were a alot brigher red than the dull red/terracotta colur of the S15's Are the 2 odd ones extra bright in red colour? I think the bright ones were from an auto s14 and were only like 270cc or something.
  16. Oh, you already check, now i'd be worried
  17. Post up some pics. Also, there are some tiny codes stamped on em somewhere, check those
  18. You can splice in another T if you like, just re-use you boost gauge line and tap it in as far back as possible inside the cabin. You can also disconnect your original factory boost gauge (at the rear end of the bay-near the firewall) and use that plenum feed for the Profec. The tube is a bit thinner than standard though so you might need another tube but see how you go. I use the back of the plenum for my boost feed on the Power FC Boost kit and it works fine.
  19. Your bracket looks the same as mine. And when buying after market pumps thru nengun or whoever, it only says Series I/II, not 2 door 4 door I reckon they'd be the same
  20. Maybe you should clip off the excess metal track from the hose clamp. Looks a bit extended from the general fuel pump area. That could be touching something.....just a thought
  21. I don't think the PC clock would put it out a whole month.....tehe
  22. The actual website says 18hrs......
  23. Once the show is out and info is released, is there anyway online to view it instantly or do we have to wait for peeps to post pics etc....? Can't watch it on the net can we?
  24. No idea about ther GTR one but you can come for a ride in mine of you like...Tomei installed. Very quiet
  25. I think there's a guy in the For Sale section trying to sell or swap for what you have, and hopefully he has what you need. Try there for starters....good luck
