  1. Not quite.. my supplier at the time stated they had the amount i required in stock. You popped your head in to the thread quite rudely.. instead of politely advising me of your 'inside information' you were damn rude and obnoxious about it. I flared up understandably and requested you keep to yourself. yes calling you a grease monkey you replying "no im not, im a property developer" A few days later I went to place the order and BAM.. sorry there was recently a large order placed we dont have any available. Mind you this was back when Z32 AFM's were expensive.. I was the first to offer them at $280-290 on SAU, maybe the group buy saw the demand for Z32's at that price and made a few look in to a large order. Who knows. It sure damn seemed like it at the time. As for the warning... LOL. I don't remember it but I'm sure you deserved it the way I've seen you speak to some.
  2. Mine made a shade over 300rwkw with *GASP* 2" piping and a 90mm bar/plate that used the std piping route. A decent set of cams opens the old rb30dohc up. There was a fair pressure drop but she still made the power
  3. Sorry bud my post was a little misleading. I wasn't calling you a grease-monkey but referring back to comments made many years ago.
  4. Hi All, I have been looking for a reasonable priced RB20DET fuel rail to suit the common 14mm top injectors. Reason being is I need 1200-1600cc's. 10.5-11mm tops are a hassle to source in this size. Whats the usual practice. Drill the fuel rail to 14mm (if there's enough meat) or pick up an aftermarket rail - but from where nothing exists for the rb20det :S Cheers.
  5. From memory (been a while since i've seen one) the S1 RB25's are the same as the RB20/26 cas. hence star drive. The s2's have the circle type.
  6. Why not speak with RIPS? He ships built motors. http://www.ripsltd.com/products.html Likely the exchange rate may be in your favour also?
  7. Depends on the setup... Std exh manifold will require a slight kink to be placed in the rod. Aftermarket.. well that depends on your specific setup. The 18psi large can actuator has a straight rod - have a look at yours and see if there is a kink in the rod or if its straight. As for bolt up. Providing there is clearance it will bolt up.
  8. Top work conan. I saw the same issue with mine before/after cams. Held the same max 17psi regardless that it was making 30rwkw more. Big head actuator problem solvered. Also saw the same on a mates GT35r .82 at around 300rwkw even though a GT35r at 300rwkw is hardly working. Stiffer actuators are the way to go on IW turbos.
  9. Bran new Genuine Siemens Deka #3145 750cc Injectors. Never used as I ended up dropping a set of 1200cc injectors in the RB30DET (R32 RB25DE Head). Part Number: 3145 - 72lb low resistance. Flow Rate: 750cc/min (72lbs/hr) @ 43.5 PSI - 909cc/min (86.6lb/hr) @ 58PSI Coil Resistance: 2.2 Ohms / Low Impedance / Low-Z (Peak-Hold ECM drivers or injector driver/converter needed) Physical Dimensions: EV1 Body Type Connector: Bosch EV1 O-Rings: Included Atomisation: Excellent 100% bolt up, no fiddling with aftermarket fuel rails or injector clips. Direct fit for RB26DET, RB20DET or R32 RB25DE Located in Adelaide, South Australia $450 + Postage (pickup available)

  11. RB20 turbo if you want all spool in well before 2000rpm with a little over 100rwkw at 2000rpm lol. Peak power is up at around 4400rpm (170rwkwish) and from there its pretty much all over so it wont rev.
  12. RB30 sump Troy.. Make it go faster.
  13. Thats damn good incentive to get the head and turbo back on.
  14. I used to run BMC in the stock airbox with a large cai. Good for a little over 300rwkw. http://www.bmcairfilters.com/ Grabbed mine from Autobarn.
  15. Ran my RB30DET on penrite running in oil. Still top compression with 120,000km's under its belt and 300rwkw+
  16. If your changing dump try to squeeze a 3.5" in there... Taper it down to 3" if required before the cat.
  17. Not sure.. Lithiums looks pretty damn good to myself. The trick is to use a good actuator/ext gate and a genuine turbine housing. A mate tried a 3076r with the .7 avo rear housing and the response was dismal compared to a 'real' .82. But in saying that ol' Simon with his GT3071 with a .7 rear. Dismal response until cams were fitted then it was rather impressive.
  18. No issues with Cometics here. I've also reused mine. It really comes down to making sure the head is straight and finished correctly. There's also Permaseal MLS-R of which are around the low to mid $200's. Permaseal also do full inlet/exhaust gasket sets for the r33's. Coventry/Motortraders sell them and are around 1.3mm thick from memory.
  19. BUMP. Willing to put rego on it. Make an offer. Its a great car.
  20. Holden Commodore Exec 1990 - $800 Colour: RED KMS: ~320,000 (The motor was rebuilt a ~100,000km's and the trans replaced ~40,000km's ago.) Rego: None Reason for sale: Passed down from the better halfs parents. We simply have no use for it. General Description: Grandpa spec Knobbly steering wheel cover Standard 15" wheels (215's with hubcaps) Standard ride height Sheepskin seat covers Tinted Windows Aircon works 'extremely' well Brakes are good Tyres are fine Interior is clean no seat rips etc. The car is clean and tidy however it does have a damaged passenger door due to a p*ssed maggot rolling his car in to it. The car does not have rego however it will come with fresh oil/filter, coolant as well as fresh brake fluid as I've just replaced the master cyl. If your interested and after pics drop [email protected] an email. A good reliable car. $800

  22. Boost spike? Are you sure its not boost dropping off? A spike is a really quick spike of boost not where it peaks up through mid range and drops off at top end. Typically related to preload being way too high or a cheap bleed valve. If your running IW don't expect spectacular boost control if your trying to push more than 2-3psi more than the actuator is rated at. The same goes for the GT35 IW's. Best bet for the GT30.. Throw an actuator on it that is rated for the boost level you intend to run of which with cams on pump fuel is around 18-20psi. E85 up to 25psi. If you dont boost WILL peak up then tail off really quick to a couple of psi (if that) above what the actuator is rated to.
