  1. Where's the best place in Launceston to get a normal R32 GTR ECU remapped? Cause it was remapped in Japan, but i plays up from time to time, and i think it needs mapping for a great fuel. And i want to get my HKS EVC-III set up properly, mr policeman probably wouldn't want me topping out 3rd 3 times to set it up Thanks

thanks for that, i'm trying to bypass it as it didn't come with a remote, I need to find what one cuts the fuel pump.

Wouldn't it be cheaper to go to a servo on the mainland, and fill a 40 galon drum with 98ron, and bring it down with you for Targa? Or do you use that 100+ron stuff? There were afew cars running on left over F1 fuel accouple of years ago.
  5. How do they compare to the new Apexi RSM? Cause that has a g-sensor (optional) but also hangs of the wiring loom to get speed and rpm.
  6. download the manual from here http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/sh...ead.php?t=68078, and the wiring diagrams are near the back (P792 - 793 for ATTESSA)
  7. My car does that from time to time. It's won't rev over 3000 rpm, or sometimes it will just cut out. I think i need to get my ecu remapped, does that sound right?
  8. Well i looked at the manual and the yellow green wire is ment to go into the "air bleeding connector" then get grounded (the conection comes out in a black wire), why would this have been bypassed?
  9. We should organise one for the good end of the state
  10. I checked the G sensors, and there is no Yellow/Green Wire there. Does the ATTESSA have a speed imput?
  11. I thought that antenna power was for the antenna's that automaticly rise.
  12. I've been tracing wires today to try and fix my 'floppy HICAS' system. I have conectivity from the unit all the way the where the loom comes up at the drivers feet. But I found that the Yellow wire with green trace from the ATTESSA has been cut and connected to a ground wire, anyone know why that would be done, and what signal does the wire carry? Thanks
  13. we have the some of the best twisties in the world. But the condition of the tarmak is pretty shit. Coppers arn't too bad down here, and you rarly see speed cams outside of the towns.
  14. I got a reply today Dear Mr Thank you for your comments on the issues raised by the Speed Zoning Review. The Speed Zoning Review is a key initiative of the Tasmanian Road Safety Strategy 2002-2006. The review has been undertaken through the Tasmanian Road Safety Council and is the result of more than two years’ work and included considerable community input. The Government does not suggest that changing speed zones is the only answer to our road toll and is continuing to look at a range of measures, including those suggested by the community. However, Speed Zoning is an important road safety issue and we cannot ignore it. The Government is genuinely interested in hearing the community’s views before any decision is taken. I would like to emphasise that no decision has yet been made on any changes to the current system. Your comments are valued and will be carefully considered along with other submissions before any final decisions are taken. Analysis of comments will take place at the conclusion of the consultation period. If you would like a copy of the consultation kit, please contact the Department of Infrastructure, Energy and Resources on 6233 2908. Yours sincerely Bryan Green MHA MINISTER

I'm pretty sure you have to buy it in a barral. No PULP 98 on the bowser in Tassie
  17. I havn't had any takers with my skyline, but mum drives a modded Volvo T5-R (230kw) it's bloody quick once your off the line (dam FWD). So mum was driving home with me passenger, when these bogans in a V8 VK commo pull up next to us, and stare at the car. The lights turn green, and they take off, mum started moving then put her foot down, we stopped at the speed limit, and they screamed past us (after they cought up) but they were looking straight ahead. owned by a Volvo
  18. Is there any noticable diference in the handeling of the car?
  19. Well i just tested my wires, and wire 53 isn't cut, but there isn't any voltage coming though when the car is moving, so it looks like the speed sensor is dead. Anyone know where i can get a replacment? And i borred dad's R33 GTR ECU and the light still comes on (and power stearing playes up)
  20. I have tested between the speedo and wire 53 on the ECU (commenly cut to get around 180k limit). But I want to test the link between the ECU and HICAS unit, and there is alot of wires to test, the Z32 should have the same HICAS unit (Z32 and R32 share afew parts) do you know what wire on the HICAS unit the speed sensor is?
  21. Does anyone know where the HICAS gets the VSS line from in a R32 GTR? Cause wire 53 has conectivity, but i want to test from the ECU to the HICAS unit, so if I could find what wire to test that would be great.
  22. Cool, it helps when you know how to read
  23. do you need a harness? And where do I get info on events and what not? I've only checked the LCCT and it said that you need a cage http://www.lcct.org.au/Club%20Events/Speed...0May%202005.pdf
  24. UAS used to sell them didn't they?
  25. I thought it had been remapped, but i just thought i'd ask, didn't know if they had some poor pleb on the production line writing on every ecu. So is it commen for remapped stock ecu's to bugger up the A/C and HICAS?
