It's straight from Apexi though, it got delivered last week from nengun. I installed it and set up the Nismo AFM's, and that's all that's been done to it. If it does have a password, do you need the pc software to unlock it? EDIT: i just went down and turned the car on, and edited one of the points. turned it off, and then back on, and the change was still there.

the tuner can't get it going, cause the hand controller won't change the timing map. I havn't touched it.

I took my car to get tuned yesterday, and the tuner can't get the Power FC to change the timing and ignision maps. He can edit the AFM bits to get it running safly, but when he changes the timing on the hand controller it dosn't change the proper timing. Is there any way we can "unlock" the settings to work?

I have just put Nismo AFM's in, they are better cause they plug straight in (ECU retune needed though), and plug straight to the airbox. Nismo have a very slight better resolution, but the Z32's are bigger, but you would need a fair bit of power to justify the size diff (i think?) this pic is a scan of the doco i got with the Nismo AFM's that compares the RB26, Z32, and Nismo AFM's.

I'm translating the 80 page D-Jetro manual with systrain. and there are accouple of words that it can't translate properly アペックス パワー・フルコンピュータ ユニット goes to [apetsukusupawa] [hurukonpiyutayunitsuto] レブリミット・アイドル回転数の変更を行う。 goes to It modifies [reburimitsuto] idle rpm. ハイオクガソリンを使用していますか？ goes to Is [haiokugasorin] used? ﾌｭｰｴﾙﾎﾟﾝﾌﾟｺﾝﾄﾛｰﾙ2 goes to [huyueruho] ゚ [n] [hu] ゚ control 2 anything in sqaure brackets are words that can't be translated, just wondering if i could get the meaning of these words.

I have run OCR over the manual, so if anybody wants it, can you find some where for me to host it. untill lwells finished his and get's it hosted.

I found that Acrobat 7.0 pro works great for OCR, it went throught the service manual in about 10 mins, and set it all up. If you have somewhere to host it I can upload it for you.

have you installed the pressure sensors, in throttle body 3 and 4? and spliced a wire from each into the main harness?

I have done 59/80 pages, unfortunatly you can only view the english on the computer (hover your mouse over the red line, and the translation comes up), the section you want is near the start, so i have translated that bit. I didn't think that the D-Jetro could run AFM's, is it just settings for different pressure sensor's? I've almost finished translating a D-Jetro manual, so you could look at that.

Well i've installed it all, and put those values in, and it works. The car runs realy smooth now, just need to get it tuned so my engine dosn't splode.

My Power FC and Nismo AFM's arrived today I have installed them, and on the Power FC I have set the AFM's to VQ30, and set 0.64V to 140%. But i got a sheet with the AFM's that compared the voltage curve of some afm's. I put the graph in photoshop and added more grids (more accurate) and red lines for each PFC voltage setting. And i got the % diff from the kg/h difference. I was just wondering if I have worked out the voltage load vs % bit properly Thanks

The GT-R, and Nismo AFM's have Unisia Jecs on them, dosn't say bosch anywhere. I havn't seen any Z32 ones to see what they have on them.

Z32 P/N: 22680-30P00 This paper came with my Nismo AFM's, it's compares the GT-R, Z32, and Nismo voltage curves.

Yer Tassie is great for that, i've never been pulled over in my car, let alone inspected.
