Are R33 and R32 GTR ECU's interchangable? Cause if my ECU is the prob i'll just get a PFC, but I don't want to get one and find that there's still a wiring problem.

I was tracing the imfomes 'wire 53' today, and i havn't been able to find a cut in the wire anywhere (i'll get a multimeter to test it soon) but i opened the ECU so I could count the pins to find the wire, and i noticed this handwritten sticker on one of the chips. I have noticed my car blowes flames on gearchanges, the rev limiter dosn't work (only gone to ~8100rpm), it's not speed limited, and the HICAS isn't complaining of no Veicle speed sensor. Could someone have edited the ECU and frigged it up. I have also had to have the A/C bypass the ECU so it would turn the compressor on. Thanks

I would like to get into hill climbs and sprint days round symmonds. But it seems you need a cage in your car for most things here. And my car wasn't ready when the LCCT had there street car shoot out

Where do the stock ones pipe back into, cause i think mine might be unplugged to vent to atmo, cause my car idles real high somtimes (2000rpm) and it blowes flames on gear change somtimes.

The PFC isn't set to cut the fuel at 180, the factory ecu is. No HICAS probs with PFC

I recon to much HP, those Alpine stickers must give him adleast 100hp each at the wheels.

Well the power stearing gets stuck in 'high speed mode' (heavy round town), The HICAS light comes on after 5 mins (and stayes on), I don't think the HICAS tryies to turn the rear wheels, but it dosn't stop them from moving eather, on big 80km/h round abouts you can feel it move at max g's. I'm trying to find where it's been cut.

I used carbie cleaner (in a sprey can) to clean mine. Best try all 3

it's a 180km/h limitor, you can change/chip the ecu, cut the speed sensor wire (not recomended), or get a HKS speed limit defector. Mine has the speed sensor wire cut (like that when i got it ), and it roots up the HICAS.

I don't care if people overtake me, it's their licence. But i hate drivers who drive under the speed limit, if your not confident doing 110km/h you shouldn't have a licence. And if your car won't do 110km/h safly it shouldn't be road werthy. PHaT MR30: do you mean dropping the speed would increase deaths? cause I think it will, because you lose consentration if you drive real slow. America increased their speed limits (by ~10 km/h) and got less deaths on the roads.

What's everyone think of the proposed speed limit changes, it's pretty much knocking of 10km/h everywhere. I think it's a shit idea, I think the govenment should make defencife driving courses compulsary, and teach people to drive.

Am I correct in understanding that these bolt onto the dump pipes? Or do they go from the turbo?

I have an HKS EVC III (was on the car from japan), and it spikes like a bitch, and surges (goes on and off boost), it's fine if i have it 'tuned off' in stock boost. Is it true that the EVC III is pretty buggy?
