I started puting the seat mounts in on Saterday. I've cut the standard mounts out, and so far put the front drivers side mount in. used some 3mm plate as a base, and 25x25mm rhs to go between the sill and transmission tunnel. i forgot to take the cam on sat, so i'll try and get some pics today, and put them up.

I've found a comparrison between a R32 Group-A, N1 (race spec), and R32 GT-R on youtube. Also a Comparison between a JGTC, super Tourer, open wheeler, Ferrari, and R33 GT-R N1 (race spec). Can't remember the links though. early 90's N1 is hard to find info on.

I don't know if I want him to come back for a year (stand in 1-2 race would be cool though). But I think there is still a possibility it could happen. Mercedes did start his cereer, maybe they are playing the 'you owe us' card, and it would move cars for Mercesdes, so I can see them trying very hard to have him.

it will be very hard to police, as there is no official definition for a r comp. it's easy to say tyres that are marked 'not legal for road use' are banned.

so do they have a power steering cooler and oil cooler, or just a p/s cooler? people i've spoken to down here have said they do a good job of cooling the oil, but also do a good job of heating the coolent up

unfortinatully the event has drawn a lot of praise. the track is rubbish, and looks more like it was designed to cause crashes than good racing (narrow, tight, gay). It's not asif they can even say it had a good backdrop, like say Gold Coast, or Albert Park. Could have been held in Launceston, and no one watching on tv would be a wiser

we can run +2" in both directions... but i don't imagine 18x8 is easy to find, and 17" is better anyway

well i got to work on the car this weekend...hooray. Unfortinatully i spent most of it cleaning up the mess of it being left in the weather. but the engine bay is nice and clean now. Brake booster also removed, i need to make a alloy plate to attach the master cylinder too removed the rear 1/2 of hicas, and pulled the diff out so i can put the nismo centre in it. waiting to be inserted I'll be getting a set of wheel bearings next, and puttin the gtr rear hubs in, and abs front hubs in. And scouting the wreckers for a Auto VY commodore to rape and pillage.

i've been looking at some pics of the event, what's with the rx7 with the re-amera (or however rotor people spell it) catalouge on it. Is cattlins old yellow mustang up there? The Texico Seirra looks awsome druncen launching like a girl @ 2:00
