  1. yep got a r32 box. I prefur the heavirr steering from no hicas ecu. my gtr is set up like that.

  7. would a gtr make it through 55k arrowsmith? i think we burn about 1-1.5 l a km. so 30% less economy, with a 65l tank...dosn't look very good.
  8. just personal prefarance, like to have the stick close. but once the seat is in i might change my mind. just wondered how hard it was. if i had a pedal box, i'd move everything right back though....but i'm not even temped to spend that kind of money.

  10. I studies the regs Friday afternoon. I think they are pretty good, sidepipe FTW!!! untill it gets mangled. I see that Ben boot has been banned, as it's stipulated that bonnet and boot must keep the oem hinges and mecanims...lucky i hadn't cut my boot up yet. anyone else think the e85 is expensive as shit?
  11. anyone know about moving the gearstick backwoulds? can you buy like a s bend gear stick to move it back (like the v8's), or would you have to get one made?

  15. Just got a email yesterday, the targa invertationals that were at symmons for the v8's have been invidted to come and be a support class for the v8's at phillip island.
  16. damo's is more of an exited squeal, but a singe digit just dosn't cut it anymore. I'll be back from Hoebart tonight, and i might move my car into the garrage, as dad's gtr needs to have painting and welding done, which is best outside. plann will be to swap the diff out, and put the gearbox into mine next. And probably start on the wiring
  17. targa b is based on lap times, so you should be able to enter anything that dosn't lap faster than the set times (61 for symmons, and baskerville from memory)
  18. how is the best way to pick spring rates? we have run 310/210 on the gtr 07/08, dunno what was in it this year. and the car was very nice. but by the sounds of it you were running rocks in the much lighter car. is it just trial and error?

  20. i've been on the surviving bits of lonford. The flying mile is still used by locals....and tuners. i've seen Warwick Farm on google earth, i recon they should demolish the horse track and rebuild it.

  24. Did Ben tell you why the Jap exhausts lose power? We put a Trust PE2 on the Targa car and lost 30kw, out tuner said it was becasue the muffler was really restrictive.
