  1. My RSR's were the "new compound" which is ratshit compared to the old compound that they got their great bang for buck name on. They jacked the prices, and cut the grip down... I had like 60% 235 RSR's on the front, and new 265 123S's on the back, so it was just understeering everywhere, I couldn't get over 100km/h on the left hand sweeper at the start of the back section at Winton without the front wanting to walk. On the skidpan at DECA I'd snap 2nd and it would just be sideways the entire length of the pan, with these on the rear it just throws you forwards and pulls like a freight train 123S is boss, at $440 fitted for 2 x 265 18, $400 fitted for 2 x 235 18, you can't go wrong. Not sure how fast they wear... I've just swapped back to my daily street wheels for now so I'm not ripping through really expensive stuff. Will put the RSR's up for sale on DriftSales, someone will want some mad front grips for their drift car yo.
  2. I opened my blinds last night before I went to bed... woke up 2 hours early with the sun coming in my window Left for work at 8am, normally takes me 50 minutes... arrived at work at 9:25. Fuuuuuu dodgy traffic lights, road works and accidents. Right hand turn lane from Clayton Road onto Wellington/North Road Citybound was only triggering every second set of lights, and then, only letting 2-3 cars through at a time. Broken sensor I think. Then all the way along North Road was backed up because some retards decided to start their Road Works in peak hour instead of waiting an hour until the traffic died down.
  3. My Winton the other weekend was a 1:50 with only one full session out there near the end of the day, Racechrono stitches together your best segment times to give you the ideal lap from the session, and it was a 1:47... Just could not string a solid lap together Hoping Sandown will be a little better once I get some grip on the front as well
  4. That car would be sick if it was 5cm higher, had black wheel nuts, and no child molester balls in the engine bay. Has it got a bonnet or is it just photoshopped out?
  5. Can't open the tank, pull it out, open it, clean it, put it back in, and get the fkkkkking screw sleeve back onto the tank within 30 minutes. Each time its taken me ages.
  6. Give me 10 minutes.
  7. Also just realised that I've gotta come into work this weekend.... yay redoing all the data cabling in the office by myself *le sigh*
  8. + 1, replace the shaft... boots are too much of a f**k around and shafts are cheap...
  9. "Needed" or "Still Needs" ? If so, I'm voting for a backyard mechanic bbq with the wasteland boys next weekend
  10. I'm entered for wrxmas Can't wait... Today I put the car back to street drivability... put my normal wheels back on and the cat and amps+sub back in after Winton/DECA last week... Jonoe, I only did a few seconds faster than you... Only got in 7 laps in the last session of the day, was popping cooler pipes for the rest of the sessions Would be good to learn some proper lines and correct entry speeds for some of the corners, I couldn't string anything together and get a decent time in the few laps I did have out there. Sandown should be fun because I know the track a little bit already so I'll be a little more confident. Come along man, it's cheap as chips and a really fun day with passenger laps the whole day so some of the big boy cars car scare us silly
  11. R32 GTS-T... Should ninja Pat's car... He's in W.A but the car is here... could slot into that gap in the list nicely Ohhhh Paaattttttttttriiiccckkkk....

Don't trust this bloke, I hear he rides push bikes nowadays...
  13. 100%... He came out and fixed a snapped stud stuck in my turbo, and 3 exhaust manifold studs. Simple and easy process.
  14. You know where I live and what my alarm / sensors / immobiliser consists of... so I think if you wanted to take it, I'd be rajab out of luck anyway...
  15. Yep, mine pretty much can't be stolen from work... it's in sight of a dozen people all the time... so if its getting flatbedded, I'm going to be told about it before they've jumped out of the cabin... Also at home it parks outside, but on the lawn without direct flatbed access... and with the wheel turned (so I can get it up onto the lawn), and i live in a street without through traffic so less chance of it being spotted as a target, plus I've got a nosey neighbour who lives across the road and is always in her front yard feeding birds, washing gorillas, painting penguins, polishing windows and all sorts of other weird shit.
  16. I'm definately not captain money bags, but I agree 100% with Ash, Track days is where its at Even in my daily...
  17. 370 - 380 is only 2.5% power increase, hardly noticeable and not worth the extra cop attention from the noise.
  18. Any real pro won't break in the drive it away anyway... They come and carefully put it on the back of a flatbed, covering it up and take it elsewhere to disable the immobiliser etc.
  19. Receptionist is Step 1... Make sure she keeps a tight leesh, if she's a looker they will try to convince her to move into the big leagues...
  20. WHOOOOOOO BAWS!!!
  21. Thanks Tareinwarge, I agree with you in theory... but you're missing the essentials: 1. Nachos 2. Two Abo's with a pair of thongs between them 3. Kitchen Spatula Come back to us once you've met these requirements and I'll be glad to reconsider your proposal.
  22. You do realise that most of us drive our Daily's to the Monthly Meets? I always laugh at any reference to how absolutely destroyed Pamela Anderson's box must be... but really, I don't think you understand what this club is about... It's not just about the cars, it's about the love of cars in general. I can love 1970's Porsche's, or Evo 3's, or Maseratti's or even Civics... and I'd still be able to fit in with the SAU Vic crew if I wasn't a elitist that puts down other peoples choices (or what is obtainable by them on their current income). Are you saying that SAU VIC should only allow GTR or GTST members to be part of the club? We'd lose 75% of our members overnight because people don't want to be part of such a closed-door club. Go stick to the GTR Owners group on facebook if that's that kinda thing you're after, otherwise... come hang out, relax and have fun.
  23. No matter, it's a Wrxmas Family Fun day... it's all 80% anyway... you can do it in the SS no worries and passenger laps
  24. Black, good... that off white / natural crap looks horrible...
