  1. Lol @ cat! How do they always get in the picture? Looks a bit like mine... Like the plate too.
  2. Cheers! Pretty stoked with how it all turned out; managed to get everything on without putting a mark on anything. Took an age to do though. No, I just had my stock skirts painted & cleared. Not a big fan of the Aero skirts if I'm honest.
  3. I saw those; they ended up going for peanuts!
  4. Probably where these belong. From this; To this; Happy? Yeah.
  5. And more cheaperer! I would've had to punch it in it's smiley mouth. Man, I hated the stock front end.
  6. Yep; my thoughts too. If they're not factory , it's just going to look like a 17yr old attacked it with a Supercheap catalogue. Decision made.
  7. It gets drity in about 5 minutes! But it's worth washing to see the end result. Black is hard work... I should have a pair of blanking plates by next week; and some Spotties down the track, when Ironpaw is ready. I'm considering slotting the ridge on the blanking plate to fit DRL's; too ricey? I'm not sure...
  8. No worries mate; it's a bit bewildering, and they tug at the heart strings, as if not spending the absolute maximum is going to be terrible for your baby. Lol, wasn't suggesting you buy my car; sorry if it came across like that. I don't want to sell anyway! It's too useful. Best of luck.
  9. I dunno, I just like taking photo's of gravel... You can fit Brembos; but I'm going a different way, if things play out right. We'll see. Thanks for the kind words; I'm not putting pink stripes on my awesome paint...
  10. Cheers mate. Nah, not fussed TBH. Maybe a set of PM skirts. Maybe. One day... Next is brakes.
  11. From this; To this; Happy? Yeah.
  12. Most of the C34 guys go with Bilsteins, or coilovers I think. I'd look at Bilsteins if you're not interested in adjustment, your height looks spot on to my eye.
  13. ^^^^ Good advice with the hire option; completely forgot about that. You could always buy a NM35 Stagea; room for prams, and goes like a shot cat.
  14. Bub must be in a rear facing capsule (most decent seats are convertible; can be flipped around) until 6 months or 9kg; once they can hold their head up by themselves you can flip them around. They do take up a bit more room in this position. Try Safe-n-Sound; My 3 year old is still in his original seat; has removable inserts and adjustable belts. Was convertible to capsule and also had adjustable incline, as even once you turn them around they still need to be laid back a bit for the first little while. Stay away from shit with built in visors, swivelling bases and all the wanky crap; makes them bulky and annoying (expensive too). To give you an idea of the range of size; He's 96cm tall now, but he started at 56cms & 3.5kg. He likes his "Racing Harness" too. The missus used a Phil&Teds 3 wheel pram; folds down flat; wheels come off easily and is light. Easily fitted in the boot of a 323 (not much bigger than you boot). All important if your missus is on the diminutive side and can't lift the pram over the boot lip (cue car damage). I was surprised how many of the full size prams were more than 12kg; too heavy & awkward for most ladies. Go to the shop & get your missus to fold down and lift a few dfifferent prams, if she finds it difficult now; it won't get any easier once she's got a little person yelling in her ear. BTW congrats, they're loads of fun.
  15. Sounds like a good name for a beer...
  16. At least you can solve the issue; gonna need new gaskets for a build anyway; don't imagine you'd be using a stocker for stage 2?
  17. Nice work mate! DIY? Love the shower head. Shower drowning FTW!
  18. I believe Spoolin is 9.5 x 19" +22 offset now. Reckoned they needed a roll on the rears; nothing on the front. Photos look EPIC!
  19. Cheers mate, I'm very pleased, been a long time coming. Those would be pretty tough on an m35 too; 18x9, +24 offset. The rubber is well past it's used by date tho'.
  20. All finished now; looks teh sexy; I keep on wandering out to the garage to look... It has ten flat tabs spaced around the opening, so I just trimmed slots in the mesh ( I'm using the trusty SAAS "Leb mesh") to fit over them, then I bent the edge of the mesh against the structure of the bar. I didn't end up cutting the centre spar out of the opening; I think it'll end up being too flimsy & cracking the paint. I don't have the clips that clamp on to the tabs, so I just glued the mesh in a few places around the opening. It was fairly well fixed in position 'cos I cut the slots pretty tight, just wanted to make sure it stays put. Pics in the morning; once it's had a bath.
  21. Spent an hour this morning fitting a piece of mesh in the front bar. Finished fitting the rear after arguing with the corner clips for quite a while... Didn't want to damage the old bar, because its going to a new home shortly. Looks great, was so paranoid about marring the new paint, so was taking it very easy. No scratches; so very pleased with the time taken. Pics once the mastic has set in the mesh on the front bar & it's fitted.
