1. I'll PM you with some proper detail over the weekend. I can answer this one! Bear in mind; I'm not a Whiteline or Signature employee, but have dealt with both personally, so all of this is based on my own personal experience. You're right; Selbys is gone. Sorta. Todd Selby (of the Selby Family) still runs Signature Swaybars, and has now moved down the South Coast; along with his business. I contracted him to custom make 8 sets of Swaybars for me a year ago; his quality and attention to detail is incredible. He is an amazing font of knowledge and very keen to assist. All of Selbys Intellectual Property was purchased by Fulcrum; who by my experience now charge a huge premium for old Selbys products. All of the key Selbys R&D people now work for Whiteline So you have some seriously cluey, innovative people there; along with the ones who were already there. Whiteline do manufacture offshore now and all of the product I've sold (over 40 sets of bars alone) is excellent. The finish and quality; to my eye, is perfect, turnaround times are excellent. They still do all of their R&D locally, and their product support is second to none. They use the latest technology to make their prototypes and also test them. I have no hesitation recommending AND using Whiteline gear. All the feedback I've received from my Group Buys has been exemplary with regard to product quality. Buying Whiteline is an excellent option both on price and quality; much better than some of the poorly finished US stuff (washers WELDED on to swaybars???) I wouldn't use their gear otherwise. They have taken their product worldwide; if that doesn't tell you it's good, I don't know what would. I'll have full details for a Group Buy up next week. Cheers, Dale.
2. That sounds about what I paid for mine in the same size.
3. Lucky bugger! Mine goes in tomorrow night.
4. Hmmm, I'm sure they're 18x8"; I never measured them though. My 350GT rims are 18x8" and the tyres were stripped from the AR-X rims & fitted to the 350GT rims; fitted exactly the same. Same sidewall angle; everything.
5. Agreed! I ran AR-X 18x8 +40, but when I went to V35 18x8 +30; looks so much better! Consider +30 the absolute minimum; then get a little braver. Also make sure you don't go too small on rolling dia, even 20's can get swallowed up in those big wheelarches if you go too low a profile.
6. I used a Stainless steel switch from Jaycar; http://www.jaycar.co...&SUBCATID=978#1 Flush mount, you could put one of these anywhere as they are really low profile. I used one of the factory spots (cos I have no options )
7. Bugger! I must admit; it took me a while to drag it out of the middle of the harness, they don't want you going after it... Maybe you can market your mod as "Active Cylinder Deactivation" just like a VE Crumblydore... Don't let it deter you; go again! I thought the " Awesome" didn't need the snippage anyway?
8. Guys, I've recently run several Group buys on Whiteline Sway bars in the Stagea section, and I've had several Skyline owners approach me. Would any of you be interested? Link to my last Group Buy; http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/372066-c34-stagea-sway-bar-group-buy/ Prices would be the same; obviously I would have a full list of all suitable bars for you to choose from. Feel free to PM me or post in this thread if you'd be interested. You're welcome to check my profile feedback to see the numerous people who've bought through me; everyone has been very satisfied. If however I'm trampling on someones turf; feel free to tell me to take a hike. Cheers, Dale
9. Do you want to take a pic of the stut ends, and we might be able to suss out how the struts come off? It can't be that hard...
10. Good to hear Boosted, look forward to hearing your thoughts! Is there anyone who'd like to see this one go around again? Cheers, Dale.
11. You're quite likely to be correct; 3:00am maths isn't my strong point... I'll take the 5th on that, but I still wasn't able to find a straight fit rotor with the correct offset; other than the 370Z rotor. And I'm not keen to remove that much from a rotor if I don't have to. Thanks for the PM, interested to see what's available.
12.

They actually end up being 343mm dia from memory. I have a set of these offset brackets and a set of R32 GTR calipers and have dummied them up on my hub. They look have the same offset as a 370Z rotor once mounted, but obviously they'd need to be machined down from 356mm; but I'm dubious as to whether a disc this large will actually fit deep enough into the rotor pocket in the caliper for this to be a viable upgrade. I'm looking to fit these up again soon to check my maths again, as it's a fair expense to cut down a set of fairly pricey rotors, only to find they don't fit.
13. Rewired towbar plug so that I have no external socket for my trailer; so much neater. Used flat cable so I can just put it out through the tailgate when I need it, and chuck it in the wheel well when not in use. A bit boring, but still... Might fit the new plastic mesh insert in my front bar tomorrow if I don't go riding.
14. Fixed! The space at the top looks farking huge in the pics; but it reallly isn't that noticeable, and from a standing position; it's virtually impossible to see. I wish they'd just made to tongue with one bend, instead of two; I just couldn't fit it through without a slot that big.
15. You need a sticker on your Stagea, "My other car is a Gibson Motorsport GTR" Trump.
16. With much trepidation I chopped several holes in my rear Aero bar to re- fit my towbar tongue... Success! Had to cut a little larger than I wanted to to allow clearance for the bends in the bar but no scratches in the paint, so I'm a happy camper. Took a while, as I was trimming away small sections to sneak up on the final fit.
17. Faark dude! That could've ended VERY badly; glad you went looking?
18. She was only 15 or 16 when they met right? Good investment...
19. The boy has an eye for talent; apparently they met when he signed her chest at a race meet! Having a baby too.
20. LOL, my missus has a 1999 Mazda Protege. I refuse to photograph it; thereby acknowledging its existence. I tolerate it only because it's flawlessly reliable...
21. Well that's a surprising benefit!
22. Man, Lorenzo's pulled a gap in the last 6 laps: gap from 1.25 out to more than 4 sec!
23. Maybe, but after Rossi & Burgess spent months telling anyone who'd listen that Stoner hadn't ridden the Ducati to its potential; in spite of the fact he's the only rider to consistently win on it. And for all the big talk in the pre-season, they've produced precisely nothing in the way of results. They've been pretty quiet about his ability lately... Rossi's no hack; that's for sure, but he's closer to the end of his career than the start.
24. This is my Non-Stagea; At my favourite place in the entire world; Phillip Island.
