  1. Yeah, try $180 Lol @ dodgy DIY... Guess it depends on your skill level... Go to a Nissan dealer and ask them for one; they'll happily unload your wallet for you.
  2. I heard they had an engine failure? If so, it's a shame for them, but for a stock bottom end, they'd have to be pretty impressed. Good excuse to rebuild it and push harder?
  3. A mate is into radio controlled heli's; the things you can do with some skill are amazing! However the consequences for getting it wrong are pretty serious too!
  4. A 50awkw increase is nothing to sneeze at; that would be a solid start IMO. Obviously, the little devil starts whispering in your ear, but given a couple of NM35's have run 14.3- 14.4 sec quarters with an exhaust & air filter; that would equate to a very low 14, possibly high 13 sec quarter mile.
  5. They're H4's.
  6. 1; http://www.skylinesa...5+shift+reverse 2; Fronts will go straight on; rears as far as I'm aware no one has tried. V35/Z33 brembo rears will. 3; There will be a manual trim adjustment; I would suggest removing the bumper skin and removing the headlight itself; easier than trying to muck around in the engine bay. With a little practice you can remove the bumper skin in less than 10 minutes. Also check that the adjustment servos are both working; this could be the root cause. 4; 4200k D2R's are factory , so you could step up to a 6000k without going too silly. I believe iamhe77 is using 90/110w halogen globes in the high beam slots with no added relays; with no issues.
  7. Sorry mate; looks like I've got a gift for making new friends eh? Careful down there; lotta man love going around, lol.
  8. No argument here, I simply couldn't find any when I was looking. R32 GTR and R33 GTSt are a dime a dozen, and there's scope for an interesting upgrade there too...
  9. Oh dear, someone just sold their Hyundai and stepped up...
  10. I'm limited to 20kg max, by auspost. A pair of bars swings in at 14kg. Give me a postcode, & I'll PM you; it's cheaper than you think. Cheers, Dale.
  11. Yes, but they're not exactly handing them out on street corners; if you get my drift...
  12. Hmmm, they were refurbished and in primer WEEKS ago; but when he gets busy... The Nismo bar is porn; if I could've found one, that's what I'd have.
  13. Got the call from my panel guy finally; Bars are being painted today! Faark, I was beginning to wonder...
  14. Hey Tim, PM sent.
  15. R33 GTS-t is the same as R32 GTR non-brembo; 296mm dia, just a 30mm rotor instead of 32mm.
  16. Lol, jokes! Definitely get it all aligned in the one hit.
  17. The 260RS has the narrow subframe right? The rear will be fine if that's the case. In reply to those concerned about the suitability of the GB bars for Auto applications; I've appropriated some images to illustrate the difference. The knowledgable C34 owners have told me the difference in width is 50mm (wider on Autos, narrow on manuals) the bar is narrow to suit the GTR subframe. Disregard the text; it relates to the thread length on the links from the original thread. As you can see the links do sit at an angle, but using the H/D Ball Links in the GB would see them not anywhere near as stressed; due to there increased articulation. The horizontal thread is 35mm in length, what I'm proposing is for those that need it; I will supply a pair of 12mm long Stainless Steel spacers to fit on the thread to correct the angular misalignment. This will still leave plenty of thread to lock the nuts on and the thread is High Tensile anyway (no bending). It won't completely eliminate the misalignment, but it will drastically reduce it. They'll cost $10. Let me know what you think. Thus far, there have been no orders made for bars; I am surprised at the lack of interest. The C34 Stagea owners that have bars fitted appear very satisfied with the results and have been very encouraging; I am at a loss to know why others would not the same benefit. Cheers, Dale.
  18. I thought those were the ones you had Ryan. Y u no fit them?
  19. Apparently these particular ones are not renowned for their sturdy construction. Check these; http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Nissan-STAGEA-M35-SKYLINE-V35-350Z-REAR-TOE-ARMS-/130554820791?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item1e65ac78b7 Doesn't appear to have any Front Arms ATM, but he does get them. I've dealt personally with this trader; (Bought my BC BR's from him) great guy, answered heaps of questions, couldn't do enough to help, and then followed up several weeks later to ensure I was happy. Nuff said.
  20. I'm sure you'd be ok; the 2WD front end is the same as a V35/Z33 front end. I've sold a number of V35/Z33 front bars to go on 2WD M35's Perfect fit ; no issues.
  21. Very nice mate; spot on.
  22. The reading I've done on U.S. based installs (Titan VK56 engined 4x4's and 350Z's) seems to indicate the shifts at light load are basically the same as standard; and is not really very noticeable. It's only under full load (100% throttle) that you get the really fast, soild shifting with a possible chirp. I think this is related to the fact that our cars feel like they retard the timing on an upshift; both to smooth the shift, and to reduce load on the box. This is fairly common strategy with autos (especially in high torque applications) and I'm sure Scotty could probably shed more light on the exact reasons.
  23. Nice work Craig, well done mate.
  24. Red C34 on Lane Cove Road around 5:30pm. Wash your car sir...
