  1. Great to hear mate, glad you got them on with no issues . I reckon they make the car feel so much smaller and nimble to drive. Thanks for the positive feedback; both about the bars and for myself, really appreciated. Off topic; You don't happen to know a guy called Shaun Chillcot? I work with him, he's a Prince nut; reckons he's seen a couple of your cars... Cheers, Dale.
  2. Absolutely right Aaron, I've posted that a number of times in other BC related install queries; that and the rear OEM top mounts needing to be re-used. Probably should've put it in here; but it was more of a set up guide than an install guide. I've sent a bunch of PMs with more detail to those who've asked. I might have to cut/paste one of my PM "how to" guides into this thread so the info is all in the same place. Get used to the improvement over stock that these provide; then (gratuitous self promotion) maybe point your GF to some Swaybars? After all; power is nothing without control...
  3. Nah mate, Cam & Andy did all the hard work, I just did some clicking.
  4. Belts are the same as 350z; Alternator - 4PK950 Power steering Pump - 6PK1180 Link to belt "how to" http://www.m35stagea...lit=belts#p1867
  5. What a good girl! Is she making sammiches to keep your energy up whilst working?
  6. Gunmetal R34 GTR on James Ruse Drive this morning. Hiding amongst the boring commuters...
  7. My son of rajab that's got some muscle! Love seeing new developments on your beast!
  8. +1 for Chris at Nepean Motor Group! He's spent hours trawling through FAST on numerous occasions for obscure Aero Selection Stagea parts for me, very helpful and very keen on imports too! Normally only a 2 week wait at worst; but had a gasket show up in just over a week a while back.
  9. @ hijack; people remove the screens for a slight airflow increase; not sure how much is in it.
  10. Bahahaha! Holy thread revival Batman!
  11. Spotted a lowered, white AR-X while I was heading to Diamond beach for the weekend. Gave a wave as I passed, no response.
  12. Certainly looks that way Don't mind charging for the privilege; do they?
  13. That's not the issue; how much clearance from the brace to the bonnet will be the crucial part. The plenum is already close enough to the underside of the bonnet with the plenum spacer. My guess; not enough...
  14. It might be time to throw up another Sway Bar GB, once everyone gets past tax time? Ryan, how much plenum to brace clearance did you end up with? Enough to run a spacer?
  15. V35 and G35 are the same as far as I understand it. That link you've provided is acually a pretty tidy piece of gear; the tapered piece on top (highlighted in your red circle) is just a machined insert that goes into the spherical ball joint to spread the load. Spherical ball joints are much more expensive than rubber bushes, because they are much more complex to produce; due to the tight tolerances on their component parts. See pic for construction; It's basically one of these pressed into the arm with some sleeves in the ends to allow clearance for articulation and to spread load. Personally I'd be staying with a rubber bush if the car is a road vehicle; I think that one wil transmit too much noise & vibration into the car. The bush in your first post looks to be the correct one; I'd buy a pair and do them both. Hope this helps. Cheers, Dale.
  16. Earlier this year, had 2 wisdom teeth removed in the chair; one partially erupted (under the gum) and the other fully exposed. Mr "Partially Erupted" had a pocket of filthy black infection below it when removed, and needed 7 stitches to close the gum. Sockets took several months to close fully; did salt water gargling and reduced alcohol to reduce the likelihood of a dry socket. The longer you leave troublesome widom teeth, the worse they are to remove; aparrently as time goes by the roots become hooklike, and do more severe damage when finally removed. These hooked roots can entangle nerves along the jawline and make their removal complex & expensive; something to consider if you have "mobile" wisdom teeth. Other than that; one root canal and NO fillings! Looking at having veneers done on my 4 upper incisors as I have damage under the enamel that it a bit unsightly.
  17. The compresion rod bush that you are quoting in the link appears to be the one in this arm; http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/OEM-INFINITI-G35-COUPE-PASSENGER-SIDE-COMPRESSION-ROD-_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQhashZitem2a11d2fa32QQitemZ180687665714QQptZMotorsQ5fCarQ5fTruckQ5fPartsQ5fAccessories Is this the bushing you are referring to? Or is it the one in this arm? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/OEM-INFINITI-G35-COUPE-LOWER-CONTROL-ARMS-RIGHT-LEFT-_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQhashZitem27bbfe701dQQitemZ170657738781QQptZMotorsQ5fCarQ5fTruckQ5fPartsQ5fAccessories.
  18. I can understand why; it will always be a compromise; modifying an OEM rail. Having said that; I've done it stacks of times (just not engineered) and they have been just as strong as OEM. Going back further is not very hard at all, but going lower using the OEM rails & seat will take some creativity, and it's likely to end up costing more than just buying a proper rail. I'd approach an engineering workshop personally; you're likely to find someone who'll look at the problem more laterally. Link to rails; http://www.nengun.co...g:1;c:119;t:n:u I've used Nengun several times before and they're great; shipping can be a little slow, but anything good is worth waiting for. Hope this helps.
  19. They should; several other forum members are insured with them. I had no issues. I've heard of this before; I think it really depends who you get on the line when you ring, try again.
  20. I bought black waffle pads from that seller; they're great! Bit slow on delivery tho' This is what I did with them yesterday: Reflection? Try not to look at the ugly bloke;
  21. Yeah, I dunno; I think they tie the wheel colour in better now, as there isn't won't be so much grey. Going to wait and see; can always get them done later, they're easy to match. KH3 is straight black tinter.
  22. Depending in the scale of the damage. You might be up for a new rear quarter. Not a bolt on part; extends up to the roof at the C pillar, and all the way forward to the rear door... Taken a pic?
  23. I know, it looks like the dumb smiling kid at the back of the classroom. Eating paste...
  24. Yep, that's why I'd lean towards it being a mechanical clutch type, rather than a viscous.
