  1. Ironic timing Stay tuned, will hopefully have some updates maybe next week. Although I could find some required parts locally that I've had to order online, so that might delay me a bit
  2. Not much you can do to affect trap speed though. Unless you're missing gears or backing off before the finish, your driving doesn't really have a lot to do with it. Boost response between gears does though. Unfortunately I think we are in the same boat in that regard, have you tried to see how long it takes to get back on full boost between gears?
  3. Those speeds could get you a low 13, maybe into the 12's if you could get a good run. But Yeh, we are definitely struggling.
  4. Yeh start doesn't affect mph much. Well. Guess that explains our runs at Powercruise. Either we are both hugely down on power, or our turbos are extremely laggy between gear changes.

  11. Well check that you are getting spark and check your belts. Have you checked your earth cable? I don't trust those earthing kits, I had one on my car that earthed it in 9 different places, did nothing. Only fixing the main factory earth fixed the issue.

  13. Idle is fine, ticking noise sounds normal as others have mentioned. With regards to the hot start issues, I had a similar issue that turned out to be my earth cable from my battery to the chassis being loose. Check all your earth's and make sure they are ok and the cables are in good condition. Heat increases resistance.
  14. Recent results are, yes. But the G3 is an 'old' design. Original results (the ones I used when I bought my turbo) were on the stock manifold, internal gate, and 98 pump fuel. Just wanting to see if I can compare my turbo to these results without estimating, I don't think I can.

  16. Stao, Are these results comparable? Ie. your new setup is on an aftermarket highmount manifold and externally gated, did you test the old profile G3 on the same setup or is this new result vs the old stock manifold/internal wastegate result?
  17. Have never heard of any such issues with ID's... Link? Mine are perfect. Leagues better than my old Power Enterprise 660's, couldn't be happier with them.

  19. Nope, GTT is different. Need one to suit 32 gtst, both use RB20 gearbox.

  21. Yeh it's not kinking. Don't see why it would kink under boost anyway, maybe under vacuum. It's not doing anything regardless, car was tuned without the front-bar on so it would have been visible. Except this is why the 358rwhp figure is crossed out on the sheet. Tuner told me to ignore that because of the correction, real figure is around 350. Have dropped the exhaust, only a 2hp gain. Yeh, I think I might just get it into Garage 101 and get them to do it. At the moment my cam gears are standard, but I do have a HKS exhaust cam gear sitting here.
