    Sitting higher is a good thing! Just bolt on a piece of flat steel between the flange on the cat and that gearbox mount, that'll stop it from moving

    Is possible. But given the size of the turbo, and other results achieved with them, it shouldn't be. Just a matter of crossing things off the list now. Can. Not. Be. Farked. The car in this thread works better though, my thread is full of pig.

    Yeh I've seen the copies, they've been out for probably around a year or so now. That's why I asked, I'm interested to see how they go compared to the genuine versions.

    Plazmaman is the only brand I'm aware of that just does the plenum section of the intake manifold; did you get a copy or genuine? Or is there another company making a similar product?

    Well to be honest I have thought it feels a bit doughy down low... Not like your usual off-boost sluggishness, but almost like it hesitates under about 2000rpm. Had been meaning to ask Danny about it. He did mention on his list of things for me to do that I should check cam timing as it's possible it's out. I need to overlay my graph with Stao's graph, I'm not sure how out it is.

    Yeh not sure, it's possible. Adds to my suspicion that the cam timing is out... It was only happening on the one corner, and only in second. If I was in 3rd then it was fine.

    Toying with the idea of coming down, but probably won't, tyres are fkd from Powercruise Will get down there this season though!

    Yep, on acceleration, but not with the throttle open 100%. It was happening as I was coming out of the corner on partial throttle, probably about 50-60%. I understand the bov would be shut, but doesn't the stock (GTR in my case) leak a little bit on idle/low load to prevent surging? I never had trouble with surging with this turbo before I did the plenum and things.

    Has anyone had issues with surging with the ATR43 series? At Powercruise I was getting massive surge issues in second coming out of turn 6 up the hill at Wanneroo. At the moment I'm not running a bov as I haven't had a chance to redo my cooler piping since installing the Plazmaman, so I'm assuming that's the issue, but just wanted to see if anyone else has experienced the same thing whilst using a bov?

    Carissa King? Really? Wow haha. Is your brother Jake? Yeh I didn't do the drags this year, did them last year and fkn sitting on the track for an hour before getting your little 7-8 second run is just fkn crap. Couldn't be bothered this year. Last year I raced two bloody 9-second V8 drag cars lol, the second one beat me by 2 car lengths doing a powerskid the whole way If you ever get to see the Powercruise DVD from last year, both my runs are on there.

    Thanks man. Your car sounds pretty good for an internally gated turbo! I noticed what you were talking about with the popping on decel by the way, that's normal. You may have noticed mine doing it as well. I enjoyed the flames that yours spits though! Who's that??
