  7. BAHAHA He's a very cranky boy lately isn't he!!! If I'm not at the coast I'll come and play show and tell with yas
  8. So do we need to sign up, or if I'm avaliable can i just turn up and meet you guys in the morning?
  9. I will be next door at the skidpan...
  10. I am still happy with mine, cheap double din one off ebay i installed just over 6 months ago, still going strong with no problems at all
  11. After insatlling this one, I'd say there's just no way you could get a decent sized intercooler into the front without the need to cut anything at all... But there really was f-all metal to cut out to fit this one. It was just the metal bracket that goes in between the front lights. Had to trim it so it went over the top of the cooler. Wish i took more pics of the install and what i had to cut out... but i was too keen to get it back in and going Really need to get one of those small number plates now to get full use of the cooler
  12. I just put in the blitz one on the weekend. Extremely happy with it! Required a small amount cutting of cutting of the front brace thing, (not sure what you call it, bit of metal that sits in front of the thermo fan, between the lights). But this amount of cutting to less than 5 mins with the cordless angle grinder... Out of my stock bumper i cut the whole black middle plastic part out + a tiny bit more of the white plastic. also had to cut alot out of the right air intake piece (infront of old side mount). The piping was a perfect fit and the mounting required NO bashing at all! used 2 small washers to mount it a couple of mm forward to clear the thermo fan motor. I'll get a pic up for ya when i get a chance
  13. i think my mate has one he's trying to get rid of
  14. While minding my own business and doing some paper work... (ie bludging in the office checking out SAU) i walked out the back yard to find 2 work mates under my van, armed with cable ties looking very sus... BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA Think It'll make it go much faster????
  15. I believe there called R34 GTT not GTS-T
  16. The first Skidpan i took mine to, this started happening half way through the day. what it ended up being was the battery negative terminal loosened itself off and got a bad connection hapopening. this brought on "engine light" "abs" "tcs" and "slip". it ended up completely deestroying my battery internaly. Had to miss half the day and roll start it till i got a new battery Could be the same, or it could be something more serious. But still worth investigating the battery I'd say
  17. My night is looking waaaaaaaaay too busy to come out tonight
  18. my skyline loves the water!!! i will be way too drunk and not in my car to come out, but if ben decides to do a drive by then I'll turn up
  19. well i don't really have a fav workshop yet... got quoted $1700 for unit+install+tune, not too bad, similar price to a vipec unit on its own.
  20. R34power : I saw your post in the spotted thread I'm not even looking at getting to half the power your getting to lol Does anyone in canberra have any experience with a NIStune? It sounds perfect for the level of mods that i want to do to my car, not going to go too crazy with it...
  21. yeah this looks interesting, I'd be keen for a cruise up there
  22. Yes NIStune looks great, just looking at their website now. anyone know of anyone in ACT that can tune a nistune ecu?
  23. cheers guys, i was very reluctant to start with. I want to go vipec or haltech, angelo (trojan) didn't think haltech did a r34 plug in tho. I'll just have to wait for many more funds to get one of these FLN75S I think I'd rather get a new tunable ECU for a bit extra, than to send the car away and have it tuned in concrete (like the MINES one)
  24. I found this on ebay http://cgi.ebay.com.au/JDM-MINES-VX-Rom-EC...=item439c8d2ed0 It kinda looks like just what i want, just want to get some advice about getting something like this? Cheers Pat
  25. possibly the same bayside blue R34 GTR following me south on GDE
