  1. This is my car. I've finished the intake now (3" metal pipe with bov return and breather line welded into it, to pod filter) and it made a HUGE difference. Boost comes on about 500rpms earlier and holding boost strong untill redline. Gimma a couple of weeks and I'll have it dyno'd again, should see some nice gains!
  2. Well it looks like about a 1/36th scale GTR so it really should only need to go down the 1/1440 mile...
  3. It's good to finaly see a GTR-LM on our canberra shores Lol
  4. So my cars now running 260-280rwkw, I just went and made this nice metal intake pipe with bov return and oil breather lines welded into it. Did i just waste my time with the oil breather line? Should i be using an oil catch can instead? Cheers
  5. And not even here to celebrate it... happy bday dude
  6. +1 about one year ago i bought a bog stock r34gtt and had no experience with turbo cars what-so-ever, then stumbled onto this awesome site and started a massive learning curve I've gone from no experience at the start and now driving around in an awesome feeling 266rwkw GTT, just went to metal intake/pod today and should see 280rwkw hopefully. All work appart from tuning done myself. So read, read and read some more and take in all the advice ya can.
  7. would they be the same as on a GTt? cos i got my original one at home
  8. I'm in the same boat, got the hypergear ATR43 with high pressure actuator. I took at least 10mm of preload off it, now it has only about 2-3mm pre-load. It holds true untill boost gets to around 15-16psi then opens. I also run a greddy profec II but it pretty much isn't doing anything, set on "low" at 0% lol. Unfortunatly untill i re-do my intake (pod and afm to turbo) i can't hold that boost till redline
  9. I got a big gig at the baso that I'm meant to be at... might be able to pop in beforehand
  10. 1. Nathan R +1 2. Mick (Bullet32) 3. Pat (Randon_I_Am) + 1 4.James (DriftGTS) 5. 6. 7. 8. 9. 1
  11. i have no idea what they are, but would they go well in a tank with a turtle?
  12. What's the cost for this one? 1. Nathan R +1 2. Mick (Bullet32) 3. Pat (Randon_I_Am) 4. 5. 6. 7. 8. 9. 10
  13. Yeah that 200 was awesome!!! Was heaps good to get a drive in with reece, think I'm gonna have to get involved in the next one
  14. It looked good when the dude was driving it...
  15. Maybe i should. wonder if anyone else would want one. The first one would be a very rough prototype, if i was to make one. Not too pretty to look at... I'll have a look at water temp sensors, do ya know where the stock one is located?
  16. sounds like an easy job for a small microcontroller and a relay/thyristor... could even run it on PWM using a thyristor to keep a more constant temp.
  17. I can't get into the link, but if you can pull 290rwkw out of that thing as is, then I'm pretty sure I'm gonna have to re-learn everything i know about physics in general lol. but good work on digging yourself out of a big hole
  18. just before the tune on thursday
  19. I'll take the 245/40/18 KUMHO's off ya hands for $160
  20. lol I still have mine sitting in the workshop at home... make an offer.
  21. OMG what a read! This is fantastic! But now i feel like I've just been watching an awesome dvd only to have the end of it f**k out... Wonder how the ending went?
  22. I just put on a new turbo (first time) and now wondering where to get the vac/boost line to go to the actuator? the stoch turbo had a nipple on the turbo for it, but the new turbo dosn't have one. so without drilling and tapping/welding a new nipple on somewhere near the turbo, can i take it from the one in the intercooler return pipe just before the cast throttle intake pipe? I think it had a vac line going to the power steering pump for whatever reason. what are the risks of blocking off the vac line to the power steering pump? cheers in advance
  23. Keep us informed how the poncams go in the neo! might end up down the track going there myself
