  1. Sorry to hear....do you have any pics to post so SAU people kmow what they are looking for? "If someone wants to take your car, they are going to take it whether you have an alarm or not. The only way to combat this is via gps system. I lost faith in alaram systems long time ago." While the above it true, I wouldn't discount alarms based on that - the more deterrents you fit to the car the less likely it will be nicked. I'm not saying it won't happen, but the more steps you take (alarms, hidden cut off switches etc etc) the likely-hood of theft goes down.
  2. No matter which track car you decide to go with the cheapest option is to buy one with the money already spent on it
  3. ARP head studs SOLD. Whiteline Camber kit still for sale.....lowered R33 GTR???....too much camber on the rear wheels??? Then this is the fix and all for the low, low price of $50 +postage
  4. ^^ LOL Congrats to Blaise, Snowy and all the other SAU people
  5. The Nismo coppermix twin is an awesome bit of kit - most of the vic track gtr's run this clutch including mine. Supposedly the competition is rated for higher kw's but I pretty sure the std twin has been used by gtr's in the mid 300kw at the wheels mark.
  6. Looks like some pretty $$$ cars there!! Holy cr@P 61.8 on the fig 8 is flyyyying....my fig 8 pb is a 63.64. Admittedly I only had 3 or so goes at it so there was more to be found but I had better weather too!!
  7. Lol Roy trust you to find a track car with a licence plate like that
  8. Fuel pump is SOLD. Head studs and camber kit still avail...

Your first concern should be reliability and power being well and truely second. Once all bolted together get a good tuner to sort out a reliable tune. As for the dump pipe difference, I guess it depends which dumps you have bought - sure they can make a difference but by how much depends on how good they are.
  10. twenty six - just to be clear the pump is a 044 not 040. Had some interest in the pump but no one has said they will def take it or paid any money. As for a meeting place 1/2 way - I work in the city so can meet you there or alt if you come to SAU events or meetings I can meet up with you there.
  11. Deano1 - I am located in Bentleigh, Victoria but the studs can be sent via an express post parcel.

  13. Holy crap....sorry to hear the news Car is probably long gone by now but will keep an eye out for your car and an unmarked tow truck.
  14. Blitz-26 - posted to where? As per the camber kit this item should fit in an express post parcel so wouldn't imagine it would be expensive. Yeedogga - to be honest I am not sure. My first thought would be no but I suggest that you check the whiteline website and compare the part no shown in my pic with the part no listed against the ECR33 model.
  15. J_32 - Sorry no inlet temp sensor hole but easily rectified by a workshop. Couple of other people have asking about sizes.....inlets are twin 2" (approx 63mm OD) and the outlet is the GTR std 3" (approx 85mm OD). Weight I can only approximate at 9kg due to the use of bathroom scales lol
  16. Sorry about that twentysix should've put location in ad....I am in Bentleigh Verms....this item will fit in an express post parcel so wouldn't imagine postage would be expensive....maybe $10 if that?? If you need me to find out I'll have to wait until monday otherwise will be happy to sell for $70 incl postage.

  19. Congrats to all the new comm members and a big thanks to you all for stepping up and running an awesome club
  20. LOL Rowdy, if I recall a bit more ground clearance would've helped too... ...and maybe fewer beers
  21. I can also confirm that a lot of the group A Sierras ran turbos that weren't exactly rule abiding inside....and thats from the guy who worked on them Lets face it, winning motorsport is all about building a car that meets the rules but is magically quicker than everyone elses - if there is no bending the rules, or another way to put it "interpretation of the rules" then most of the team engineers would be out of a job!
