  1. I specifically bought them thinking I'd get that much wear out of them. Got dat alignment multiple times in that time frame for any change to make sure they last the distance they just..... didn't
  2. but but... I got 7500kms on my NT05's driving like a pansy...
  3. Why? (srs question) Longevity? The NT05's are just touching the indicators in the center now, on the sides there's maaarginally more, but barely enough to catch a fingernail on. Where else to go for alignment duties? TT always been nice to me, but heard a few things now...
  4. Nah, ever since I got the rears put in, I noticed it felt really tail... 'rolly' as though the weight balance was 99% front, all the time. But I supplied the struts and springs to TT, as they came off the old car. But stupid me didn't really think about the fact that while the fronts came off my old car, the rears struts were swapped, so the setting for rear height was lost when that happened. Did give them ride heights but as they (TT) figured they were swapping from one car to another they didn't need adjusting. I had no idea the front sway was basically removed from the car via kinetic force. If it all gets fixed up and it still feels weird then I dunno. Car didn't have that behaviour on the springs it initially came with, nor did my old car with the exact same setup. but I'll probably blow my engine up again between now and when its time for another alignment
  5. Working side (for reference): Damaged side (for lulz): Note: I did not notice this occur. It happened some time after traction tyres installed the castor arms and replaced inner tie rods.
  6. This is a new shell. Yes I meant the hankook RS3 sorry. If they are equiv, and $250 a tyre, well.. that's some coin saved. re: My suspension I hit a kerb, hard. Damaging a wheel, and bending a tie rod end. Got that fixed and wheel repaired and new castor arms. all good. Went under car, noticed the bracket I don't know the name of (what the front sway bar bolts to) has literally snapped off in half. So that's nice. No idea when that happened. I also asked TT to set my ride height at 350FR and 345R height. It felt floaty as FAAARK in the rear and I just blamed it on hicas till I actually measured the car and found the front is 330mm and the rear is 368mm. So yeah....
  7. From what the internets says, the Hankooks go for $250ish and outperform them, the AD08R's go for something like 350 unless you find a deal. Almost bought the guy who was selling 2x for 500 awhile back (ad08r's) Just knew my rears were worn, but on the indicators after 7500kms on NT05's was.. yeah. I suspect the Hankooks last about half as long as the AD08R's. Hence the query about them before HWP says HEY MATE BALD TYRES OFF TO DEFECT LAND and which they would be correct to do so.
  8. Nah. Was at scottys. Found out I had 3 bald tyres (1 is brand new and just replaced, woot...), snapped/bent steering/suspension components.....again.. and my exhaust idea had to be massively revisited for another time.
  9. Entirely possible, but was under the impression ventus were waaay more pricey, like, on-par with the AD048R Given the echo chamber that is VWL, sometimes self-conversations have the same content
  10. Looked under my car when it was on a hoist bad idea such a bad idea also, are AD08's still hugely pricey? like $350+ per tyre pricey? Why not buy Ventus V3? Seem to be $250 a tyre and from all accounts grip better After my NT05's lasted 7000kms I am now sad.
  11. Maths, really. You find out how much power you're making on a dyno, and then you think "Whats more likely?" Injectors too small? Fuel pump not up to task? Upgrade the part which is more likely, or realistically, wildly update both before you upgrade the turbo
  12. The offsets will fit especially if you stretch the tyres. I have the same (+33 on the front) on my R34 but mine are both 18's not 17's at front and 18's at rear. Also my wheels are LMGT2's... so far as 'same' they aren't really. But the offsets are. I also have 275's on the back with no rolling nor flaring. I'd wager they can be made to fit even if they're slightly too big.
  13. I'm entirely OK if my car got stolen or written off, which means it is the most secure car in the universe. So much so, some people broke into my Camry (why, I don't know), and flattened the battery (again, really not sure how.. it starts) and left my wallet on the passenger seat where I had accidentally left it because... I'm lucky?
  14. Not gonna lie, been to DECA once... managed to have an off from the basketball court. Also spun out on the entry road to the actual complex
  15. I'm being heavily pressured to register for deca, but there is only 24 days to get like 2 days of work done on the car.
  16. I'll have a burger, thanks
  17. Working in IT, quite confident 99.9% of people don't know what the f**k we do whatsoever....
  18. That alone is reason to get rid of the GT-SS's, frankly..
  19. I got torque and my turbo is literally too small, so go get some 500KW low mounts Also expect 1 year until its working Unless you are just flat out buying an engine which is in stock which c'mon man does not ever seem to exist
  20. It is entirely possible. All of the suggestions posted here will do exactly what you are asking.. 650CC injectors means probably 98... so... 3076 is probably your best bet. Hypergear will likely also have something that will do 300 in a stock location though. (or you could just buy my 2nd hand gtx3076.....)
  21. I got American ones because I was told they were identical, dimension wise......
  22. believe it or not, I actually made it there and back and did a beginner drift day complete with absolute rev smashing and didn't wreck the car until a week after!
  23. From what I can see on the actual picture, it is visually identical to the Series 2 grill which only fits the S2 front bar (won't fit altia either). Which is why its a bit odd you had this but didn't have the bar it (had?) to have fit to
  24. I'd do DECA but there's a high chance I would actually break the event and render it unusable for several months (again)
