  1. if they are in good nick, Done !
  2. Sorry for the bump but can anyone tell me what front lip that is ? On the White 32 I mean.
  3. From a spectator standpoint its a very bad track, if you also considering money spent for how entertaining it is, it is the worst track ever conceived. Yes I think there is definitely a bit of Bernie worship going on in V8SC. I'm not even going to go into what is wrong with racing these days, I seriously just don't have the time.
  4. How did you get on broski ?
  5. Hi one77, What Terry is trying to say is: Buy a Skyline. Basically it comes down to this: GT-R fastest down the strip out of the box and once modified. similar in pace around track to a stock Homo VII both faster then rex. Most support (aftermarket) for Skyline, then Evo Then rex, in saying this you WILL need this support if purchasing a R32 because let me tell you as an owner and someone who knows a lot of other owners it is by far the most maintenance and resource intensive (money and labour) and by quite some margin. People seem to talk up the EVO alot and for good reason they are fantastic cars.... out of the box. Once modified the game changes, potential to produce power is by far the greatest in the Skyline as it not only has the largest engine in capacity but also the opportunity to increase this if you so choose (economically too) In the end it comes down to how much you want to be working and spending on a car. now this is my opinion but, You should drop the rex. EVO or GT-R Looks and sound etc are pretty subjective areas so I will leave them to you. Performance I have talked about above. Now what I will say is that if you are looking for a daily that you just get in and drive, don't have to do more then the usual required maintenance and only want to do basic and less extreme modifications, the evo is for you. It has four doors, is more modern, in better condition in some cases due to age (get what you pay for) responds well to modifications (economically speaking) and is all round a nice car day to day. For any other reason, buy the GT-R you will not be disappointed.
  6. Lol Terry, just lol and mark, 10k ? Cmon mang.....
  7. More like how about don't be a f**khead Lol.
  8. Yeah mate, Spray the element (inside the gauze) with AFM or contact cleaner be careful not to touch anything but the actual housing of the meter itself.
  9. I agree, coming from an engineering standpoint I can think of ways to EASILY spend 500k on a race car. Remmember Gibson were spending atleast $1000000 building the 32's back in the early nineties...
  10. Try cleaning the AFM and report back.
  11. Hi Matt, are you able to get OEM/Nismo/ Non fibreglass of the following: Sideskirts Pods Front bar etc ? Cheers, Mitch.
  12. Tuned By Jack Bauer Automotive.
  13. you really reckon that would get you there Dunc ?
  14. Yeah, and look at how long the gt2860 thread is, not to mention how long the over 400kw thread is.... People still cannot point to a solution and say " It makes this power at this revs with this transient response because..." X says you have to use 30000 degree cams with a big lift Y says Nah Mate use standard cams Z says I dont use cams a wizard makes my engine powerful etc etc.
  15. Turns out you cant wear a cowboy hat and drive a GT-R at the same time, well, not a proper cowboy hat.
  16. Silver 32 GTR with some pretty sick wheels coming out of bardon Dominoes
  17. I think he means something reliable, IE without human fallibility. operators should be used as a final check safety net only.
  18. We have a Merlin here at the Mech eng building at uni all cut up so you can see it in operation, thing is awesome.
  19. I want to build up a DR30, but not as a burnout car just as a nice car Long live the box/wedge !
  20. Hey man, I thought you had a 32 ? I see your car around quite a bit actually V tidy
  21. Lol, so true. Im pretty sure the dyno blew up when he recorded a power level of over 9000
  22. I hope the people banging the "variety" drum aren't actually serious as they are essentially moving from a 90% spec series forum to one that represents more like 100% which isn't racing its just a big marketing tool, well even more of a marketing tool then racing already is. I am having a really difficult time holding back my enthusiasm though, imagine, we can have three different colours on the same car now instead of two ! Wacky doo....
  23. is this two z32 airflow meters with plugs, if so how much for the both mate ? Will take both mate if not sold
