  2. Hey ppls. Well, here I sit at work, waiting for the window shutter people to arrive. I got a call at 12:19am telling me that there had been a break in at work. They smashed through my office window with such force that there is glass embedded in the wall accross from my desk. Fu(king scum. You ruined my Sunday night in front of the TV. Now I must sit here and wait to be anally abused by the pricing these shutter companies charge. Nothing was taken thank goodness, as I think the alarm scared them off, but what a pain in the arse. BASS OUT

  6. Full exhaust from the turbo back, including CES Racing Split dump and front, big cat converter, cat back exhaust. That's step one and will cost about $1500-$1700. Then FMIC and Power FC all at once. That's step 2 and 4 and will cost about 1000-1500 for FMIC and about 1500 installed and tuned for the PFC Then full suspension job including Whiteline Coil overs, sway bars, Pineapples and all bushes replaces. Step four would cost near enough to $3500 I think Then a new clutch to handle the grunt you will soon want more of. Including a light flywheel and clutch, probably close to $3000 installed. From there, Cams, Turbo, Brakes, Rims, Stereo, Guages, Seats and the list is never ending. Speed costs money, how fast do you want to go? BASS OUT
  7. Turbo kit, $3000 plus 500 to install. 35rwkw gain, = 100 per kW The response is worth more than that though.
  8. Exhaust, Full from turbo back.... $1700 maybe 20 kw gain at wheels. $85 per kilowatt. Power FC plus tune, $1500, 25 kw at wheels $60 per kilowatt. My piece of string is this long ------------------------------ How long's yours?

  10. Hey ppls. It's been sitting in my store room since it was purchased about 12 months ago and has been used for 1 week, playing two low power speakers and was then put back in the box. I paid $1800 for it and they are currently about $1600 brand new. http://www.intl.onkyo.com/products/av_comp...r701/index.html It's black and comes with all bits in the box. I want $1,400 not much less, otherwise I will just keep it. BASS OUT
  11. V8 Lover: How much power does that car make? Us: About 1050 horsepower. V8 Lover: I've got a KB512 in my shed. Goes from 0 to 180 kph in 0.86 seconds. Makes 7500 horsepower. Built it in a chook shed. Us: How do you drive that down to the shops?

  14. Yeah Yeah Yeah. Another one. Pete: Yep, this car makes about 1050 horsepower at the engine with a 100 shot of NOS. Punter: Why don't you use a 150 shot of NOS. Pete: Is 1000+ horsepower not enough for you?

"Hey dude, What's that car?" Me. "It's an Alfa" "See, I told you it wasn't an old Porsche" he he he he I'm a bad man! BRING EM ON!

  17. Mine is 5 speed. FMIC, PowerFC, EBC (11psi flat), Front pipe, Cat, big exhaust. I haven't got that button. I'd say it wouldn't make that much of a difference. There is still another muffler in the middle of the exhaust that would be restrictive. Apparently the actuators in the Nismo Sports Muffler seizes all the time, and you need to squirt it with WD40 all the time. Would be nice also to make it open at certain RPM or boost levels.   19. I bought my car with 28000 odd ks when I bought it 18 months ago. It now has almost 70000. Not a single problem with it. At the end of the day, if you can get it cheap, you can spend any money saved if you need to on a big general service and replace everything.
  20. 50L get's me about 320-340 kilometers. So about 15.6 litres per hundred kilometers. 11 psi, 200 rwkw, and daily normal driving. Long distances gives me much better. Did 350 on 35 litres on the GOR trip last weekend.
  21. There have been plenty of engines which have been turbo charged and supercharged. I remember reading about a Corolla a few years back like this. The Supercharger is probably on a clutch arrangement on the front pulley, and being screw type, would be able to be closed when the rotors aren't spinning. BASS OUT
  22. You'll get more power from the PFC. But to get more power eventually ou will need the FMIC. But, you have to get one first. Go the PFC.
  23. Hey ppls. My big arse service is coming up in about 10,000 klms, and being the big one, a lot needs to be looked at. Timing Belt, all fluids etc. etc. etc. UAS replace the water pump in their biggins service. Is this nesecary, and is there any real benifit from going to an N1 pump for normal street applicatons, occasional track days. Same with the oil pump.....
