  2. Proto ducts are being made during this week. Shouldn't be long now.
  3. R33Hesh..... That's a lot of coke. How does one precure such quantities of Coke?? Lions are going to do the BBQ which takes a lot of work off our hands! Thanks Adz. Last thing to find is some PA gear.
  4. You're in.
  5. How's this for an idea. Cancell the membership and forums access to any skyline found frequenting this stupid and mindless drags.
  6. Tony Rigoli Sticker on the front window was prominently displayed on the news in Melbourne. Talk about bad publicity.
  7. We should meet up a little earlier than 11:30 so that we can keep all our cars together. Somebody might want to organise a cruise TO the Manhattan, but I wont be able to do it for obvious reasons. So, who wants to organise a meet point, or should we just say, 11:15 at the Manhattan? Somebody also needs to organise a cruise after to somewhere.....
  8. Abo. who has had bad experiences with GCG high flows?? I'm curious cos I want one too.
  9. Those tyres come out of Europe where 'apparently' the EPA over in Europe decided that after like 10 or 15% tread is worn, the tyres start to release 'a gas' and they have to change them. There's apparently a woman who imports container loads of tyres and is making an obscene fortune out of them.
  10. Hey ppls. I've been off the air for a few days whilst changing to Telstra with our internet. NEVER expect fast turn-arounds from telstra on ANYTHING! All is well with the Meet up and all plans are in place. Hopefully this weather will rain it'self out and we will have a great day. BASS OUT
  11. MY experience with a light flywheel is that it increases acceleration. Idles a bit crappy with the standard comp, revs quicker. Only downside is that the "stored energy" isn't there when changing gears, so sometimes if you aren't fast enough with the change (in anger of course) you get a lull in acceleration for a moment before the thing gets back on the boil. But the better acceleration outweights any minor ad points. Rev210 picked up 0.4 accross the quarter.
  12. BBQ and a big raffle. Some great prizes on offer too!
  13. Hey guys, SOLD to ACL Thanks for the interest BASS OUT
  14. If somebody has two BBQs to lend to help out that would be great. We will be feeding a lot of people..... Anybody know a butcher?
  15. Manhatten Hotel,, Check the other thread for full details
  16. I doubt a resonably stock skyline would crack 250klms easily. Remember that the for every k/ph more, the energy is multiplied by four, or something like that. The average car uses about 8kw to stay at 100kph. 150 would be more like 30 kw, 200 more like 150kw, 250 probably about 300kw or something similar. A 300kW HSV could only crack 256 at a high speed test bowl in controlled conditions flat out. Pick any supercar, they are slick through the air, have bulk grunt and the media gets excited when they can crack 300 kph. I genuinely estimate my car to hit about 240kph with 200 at the wheels. Anything I would be veyr pleased with, but not really expecting to any better than that. Anyway, I've been wrong once before, but I've never taken my car over the legal speed limit anywhere, so I'm just speculating. BASS OUT
  17. Everyone should think themselves lucky. The WRX forums make you pay like $70 BEFORE YOU CAN EVEN VIEW THE FORUMS!
  18. SKY031 I have just spoken to our contact at the Red Cross and they have confirmed that the money will definenly go to the Tsunami appeal, it's just they have to start to raise money for their normal Australian charitys too. MONEY is 100% GOING TO THE RED CROSS.
  19. If you think $50 is a lot for a Membership, I think you are mad. Think of it this way.... Most of us would spend more than that a month on washing our cars. $50 ain't much when you consider how much time and effort goes into a club like this. Unless you have ever been a member of a committee, council, planning group or volunteer organisation, you have NO IDEA how hard it is to balance work, social life and a club like this.
  20. NP Bullant.
  21. No Problem Ascension.
  22. Hey ppls, bought Whiteline springs to replace Kings. Thought their was a problem with the springs, its actually with the shocks. Full set to suit R34 GTT $150.00 In Melbourne, but can ship really easily, really cheaply. BASS OUT
  23. Yes this is still going ahead. Why would it not. I'll make sure that the Red Cross put this money towards the Tsunami Appeal as that was what we discussed with them. THIS IS DEFINENTLY STILL GOING AHEAD.
  24. Nope, Now the 26th and 27th Feb.
  25. Hey ppls. I really need a BBQ now. A Biggins one. Something that you can cook a hundred or so snags on at once. Oh, and I need the sausages to go on them.
