  3. Not too late. You're in.
  4. Thank you oh near sighted beast
  5. The cross drilling weakens the surface of the disk more than slotting. If you read through the DBA website they don't recommend the Cross Drilled for circuit. The problem is that when they cool down, the area around the drill cools at a different rate to the rest of the disk as there is more surface area to radiate heat. That area cools faster and hairline cracks form. I had an 88 VN Commodore with Slotted and Cross Drilled on front and rear and the fronts had cracks all over them. BASS OUT
  6. Hi two.6L stories on the R34 appeared in issues 20,21,22,23,24,25,29,32,33,34 and 37. Not sure which one it is. thanks.
  7. Hey guys. I need the Project R34 article on the guages. I have most of them but I have missed this one. Could somebody fax a copy to me or scan it or something. Or if somebody is going to the VIC members meeting tomorrow night, maybe they could bring the issue....... thanks for any help.... BASS OUT
  8. First post modified to suit new type of pipe.
  9. No probs mate.
  10. the oil comes from the PCV (Positive Crankcase Ventilation) system which basically sucks the air out of the crankcase and camshaft area so that the air doesn't get pressurised. This air must be precessed in some way and it goes back into the inlet system. Catch can filters air before it goes back into the inlet system. BASS OUT
  11. Yes, somebody to go halves with me. Doesn't anybody want a set of drift/drag wheels for the arse end???? BASS OUT
  12. hey ppls. I'm looking for the front A Piller trim panel for an R34 GTT I assume the GTR will be the same. BUT It must have the standard grill holes for the factory tweeters. My car doesn't have the factory 6 speaker system and I want to add the splits to it. Also, if there is any mounting hardware behind the panel to go with the tweeter, that would be handy. BASS OUT
  13. Hey guys, I have the option of buying some tyres at an obscene price at the moment. Problem is this..... I have 8 inch rims on the front and 9 on the back (Buddy Club P1) The front tyres are fine at 235/45/17 The rears have the same now, but I want fats for the back at 255/40/17 the tyres I have offered to me are 245/45/17 How is this going to effect things........ Is there going to be a heap of difference between running 245/45 to 255/40 in regard to speedo calibration and all that. Thanks for any help BASS OUT
  14. Hey guys. HKS34R and Zebbie, Welcome. NJR34GTT, NismoR34 and Strutto I understand and it's no worries. BASS OUT
  15. RB30 I'd never let my Mum drive my car. She'd have a heart attack as soon as she hit the throttle.
  16. Hey guys, Burnfest, it has taken me quite a while to get to where I am with the initial design. To do all the running around for a couple of pipes without BOV and PCV would be hell in a hand basket. I'd love to say I could do it, but this isn't my full time job so I can't committ as much time to it as I'd like too. Sorry burn. R32 and R33 rubber ducts are now down at the fabricators and I have discussed where they should be cut and stuff. The R32 has about 45 degrees and a straight, and the R33 is pretty straight forward. The R34 will be like the R33 but I can't get that one down to the fabicators until I can put my car or Adzmax's car off the road for about a week, and in the next couple of weeks, isn't the time for that. SO. I hope to have a prototype of each of the R32 and R33 pipes about Tuesday week. I'd say with the ease that these are going to be made the price is going to be great! Anyway, Have a good weekend all. PS As always, if anybody want's to pull out, please let me know, at this stage it's no problem. BASS OUT
  17. Well put it this way, My Mum could drve my 200 rwkw car if the traction control was turned on in the wet. turned off, she would be dead as a door post. Works quite well actually.
  18. Even seen under the cover of the R34 GTT engine? I looks crap. Too many hoses and things on it. The Traction control throttle body makes it horrible.
  19. crack. Only VVT on inlet cam. Exhaust is still simple pulley. the VVT is a constantly variable style, insted of Two step like the R33 Completly different head casting, uncompatible with previous ones, higher compression, lots of things.. this has been covered heaps before, try a search including the words "Neo Straight 6" BASS OUT BASS OUT
