  1. Condolences to all involved. BUT. It's quite obvious that something was going awry with the speed and driver skill. A sad day for friends and relitives, and most likely all skyline enthusiasts within a 200klm radius of the accident. R.I.P EVLR34
  2. How about this. Take your car to a reputable workshop, ask them to give you a price for your car to make 350rwkW. Sit down. Take price given down to your friendly bank manager. Get a non-secured loan against that value. Take wad of cash to reputable workshop. Leave car for one month. Return to beast of a car which will most likely break traction well through 3rd and possibly 4th gear. YEEE HAA. Speed costs money, How fast do you want to go? BASS OUT
  3. Fair enough. but I had my PowerFC tuned at a local tuner last week for $185. Is wasn't sure of the prices in Sydney. Extrapolate and you get $47.50 per kilowatt Well, as the saying goes.......... Speed costs money. How fast do you want to go? BASS OUT
  4. Fane. I figure that but. Let's work it out on a bang for buck scale.... PowerFC Expected result 25rwkW Cost inc tuning $1500 (group buy and $500 to tune) = $60 per kilowatt. SAFC Expected result 10rwkW Cost inc tuning $650 ($450 and $200 to tune) = $65 per kilowatt. So bang for your buck, and outright increase in grunt. PFC has it.
  5. If I were you, I'd take advantage of lwells group buy http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/sh...ead.php?t=56076 Wont get them any cheaper, especially with the hand controller.
  6. Forget about the 5 knob thing. It's very very old. Best value would be to fork out the moolah for a PowerFC first before anything else. Then when you do more stuff, you don't need to change your management to cope with it.
  7. Geoff. Where do you live/work? I could send it via airbag to your work and you will get it tomorrow if you like. BASS OUT
  8. Hey ppls. Now that I have an RB20 actuator and PowerFC boost controller all fitted and working, I have an Autospeed Boost control kit for sale. Kist consists off all the bits that are required to make the system. It's actually got all the hoses as well. I have replaced one of the regulators with a bleed valve but the system works as designed. The replaced valve is also there. Price $75 ready to fit, nothing extra required. Parts as per picture attached. (plus other valve) BASS OUT
  9. I had it like that on a VN commodore with a Unifilter Oil/Foam filter and yeay, it got really dirty, really quickly. Sounded like a monster though!!
  10. Okay, At 7pm on Friday night, I made 200.4 rwkw from my baby. I'm posting charts as soon as they are scanned. Will also post a full report of the feel of the car sometime today. BASS OUT
  11. You know those Vortex throwing toy thingos. Had quite a ball with them.
  12. GZR33 Now offence here, but if I was running a business and somebody started a thread llike this with all the crap that went with it, I'd probably speak to that somebody in a fairly gruff manner too. BASS OUT
  13. Yep. Cooler and PFC and bleed valve. but, opposed to grigor, I would say PFC first. you will get much more bang for your buck, and to deal with the cooler, get your hands on a standard R34 GTT cooler which is good for up to 190 - 200 kW and unless you are on boost all the time, should be fine. then when you have the money get the big cooler, sell the small one and Bob's your uncle. Power benifit from FMIC alone, maybe 8-10 rwkW, PFC alone, more like 25rwkW BASS OUT
  14. Hey ppls. Well, the time has finally come. I've had a PowerFC sitting in my drawer at work for well over 9 months, and I've had a PowerFC boost control kit also sitting in my desk drawer for about 3 months. Today, she's up on the roller to give it her all. Was spurred into action by the good reviews of Genesis and the quite reasonable prices offered. Also, talking to Craig the tuner, he seems to know his stuff inside-out. He used to tune for BGT/Hypertech and did 99% of the tuning on the Hypertech cars. Anyway, I've attached a power run that was done yesterday on the dyno where it's being tuned so that I can get a good comparison. One is boost again AFR and the other, Power against AFR. Bass is a little excited today as you can imagine. I'll put the new charts up as soon as I have them BASS OUT
  15. hungry6 I had enough trouble understanding your post. Are you a lawyer?
  16. Jolinator. You're already in the list. Check the first thread.
  17. someonestolecc Well said. I agree with all point. BASS OUT
  18. Now no offence to anybody in this thread about how long it takes to return e-mails BUT I work in sales, e-mails come at the rate of one every 5 minutes. Sometimes those e-mails take a hour of my time to deal with. Be it quoting machines, checking lead times and a whole host of warranty and back up stuff. Therefore there are 11 other e-mails in that hour that have to be dealt with after the first e-mail is sorted out. Get a busy day and you are snowed under for a week. Brent is one guy in Japan, presumably dealing with maybe $20k to 100K per week in orders. This is most likely quite difficult logistically to deal with. You come to a workshop in Australia, you buy a part which has to be imported from Japan, the workshop is probably going to order from Nengun. More work. So anybody saying that a few days to get back to an e-mail is out-of-line is absolutley kidding themselves. Give a guy a break for godsake. End Rant. BASS OUT
  19. just thought while were claiming the extraordinary ....http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/fo...ead.php?t=55318 __________________ That's some funny shit!
  20. 100s of messages a week? I get about 50 per day. I would say Brent would get somewhere in the realm of 150 - 200 e-mails per DAY. Keep it up Brent.
  21. I had a similar warranty for a VS Calais. One of the solenoids in the Auto packed up, I got a new transmission. I had to pay the difference between the cost of rebuilding the transmission getting a new one (couple of hundred) but that's it. $75 aint sh1t in the scheme of things if your turbo pops, ans yes, they will cover it if it's stock boost. BASS OUT
  22. Gojira. I hear ya, and not just the white hats, but wearing the peak so high up it's hard to fathom how they stay on their heads. From behind it always looks like they are looking up. Boils my blood.
  23. Well, I've had a good chat to Craig the Tuner and I am taking my car to Genesis on Friday morning for the following RB20 Actuator PowerFC PFC boost kit. He seems very knowledgeable and easy to talk to. He said he has plenty of base tunes to start from according to mods and boost and can load one of them, fine tune it and that will be that. So tomorrow I am taking my car to F1 Performance who are going to do a base dyno run against boost and AFR so I can overlay the two charts for refernce. I'll let you know how I go. BASS OUT
