  1. Well, put it this way. I wouldn't do it to my car. Think of the transmission cooler when it is full of oil, probably weighs a couple of Kilos. when think of the bumps you will encounter on way to day driving, and the effect that couple of Kilos will have on your transmission cooler lines..... Not good.

  3. Yep. Very Very basic cooling system. Sometimes you will see them with a plastic jacket with lolts of fins on them. The fins obviously help cooling. Commodores do the trasmission cooling in the same way.
  4. 3.5 liters per tonne. 5.0/1450kgs, = 3.448 litres per tonne. 125 kw per tonne 165/1450 = 113.493 kw per tonne They just make it.
  5. Unfortunatly as has been said before. We drive these cars around, and if we don't expect attention from the boys in blue then we are kidding ourselves. As for driving a car which you aren't allowed to, well you are simply flaunting the law. No offence here either, but krzysiu, I think you are mad driving that car on your P plates. I mean a stock R33, they might let slip if you are being nice you them, but one that looks like yours, and so is obviously well modified, you are just asking to be put off the road. Anyway, as I said, no offence. Just my $0.02
  6. If you are only looking for 250 rwkw, it sounds like PFC is the way to go. With this power level, you can still keep the AFM and you have all the cold start, idle stuff and all the other stuff that you will have to play with on the M800, already set on the PFC. Why make life difficult.
  7. Bugger. Ringwood is closer to me. Poo.
  8. SS8-Gohan I have some remainder in the bottles I have bought which should be enough to do your gearbox. Any time you wanna pick it up to try it, let me know. Of course if it works, we would ask you to buy a bottle to put through the rest of the car to see how it goes. BASS OUT
  9. What a shitty day to do a driving test!!
  10. Skyline_Dreamer. Check out the Victorian section of the forums. We have an SAU VIC meeting on the second Tuesday of the month or something. At the Whitehorse Pub, not sure of the suburb, near Hawthorn. Where are you located?
  11. Abcent. If you are going to pull it off, I'd love to borrow it. I would need to know the measurement between the holes that go though the boot though. If they matched up with mine, cool. I think I may be able to just remove my wing and check it out from that though.
  12. Oh yeah, FunkyMonkey has original sales brouchures that he brings to the Tuesday night club meetings.
  13. I want a sticker for mr R34 that says "Ding, Rice is Ready" My missus want's one that says "MY boyfriend drives a 12 second skyline" to thumb her nose to all the idiots who drive around her in the mornings on the way to work in their little tiny cars.
  14. Nissan made all sorts of R34s same as the R33s NA versions, both two door and four door. Turbos, Both two door and Four door. GT-T is the coupe turbo, GT is the Coupe NA GT-X is (I think) 4WD single turbo blah blah blah. Current price is whatever somebody is willing to pay. Some people are thinking they can import and register one for about 30k, but that was only the case about 12 months ago. Now, they are getting a bit more pricey in Japan, and hence the finished price over here is a bit higher too. You'd probably be looking at $35k private import, more like $40k from a dealer. Wear and tear would be the same as any other car. Odometer is digital but it can still be done. 100k service, not sure but it shouldcost more than $1000 for a full top to bottom service including all oils and stuff. As the for car itself, well I love mine to bits.
  15. Mohammad. Sorry I didn't call last night, I will call tonight. Could you please take a photo of the inner guard liners and a photo of the wreck you have. I might need some others parts. Thanks Pete
  16. SNOWMAN Do you have the uprights? Do they mount to the standard locations on the R34? Can I borrow them?
  17. What is it??
  18. 26GTS I'm also going to offer the ducts without the PCV and BOV return pipes and fittings.
  19. 26 GTS I already have the Rubber pipes in my office, I just need to borrow a car for a few hours with the owner in attendence of course. When the time is right I will put a date on it.
  20. abcent Get rid of the wing. Sell the uprights to me for next to nothing. Smile in the knowledge that me and Adz can then have lovely uprights to look at.
  21. plynx Apexi already have a wing and controller that works like that. S-AFC style screen with the angle adjuatable with speed.
  22. Robo. Making the actual duct doesn't look hard, but the smallest radius bend you can get it 1.5 x material diameter. Therefore, 3" x 1.5 = 4.5" radius. Getting the curve right is going to be the issue. Also, the adaptation of the standard BOV and PCV pipes is going to be interesting. This kit may end up costing up to $200 at this stage (haven't get definent pricing on the duct yet though) as there is connectors, hose clamps and all bits and pieces yet to go. BASS OUT
  23. Oh yeah, I have a R34 Stock Cooler too.
  24. Robo When the time comes (in a couple of weeks) I need to borrow an R33 and R32 to do a little jig work on. Basically I need to remove the standard Duct, leave the AFM and Airbox in position and weld in some rings into a jog. I have done this on my car and there is no possible chance of damage (except to a few knuckles) whilst doing this.
  25. Check it out, 6:30 Channel nine.
