Where would I find the manufacturors label??

Maybe the only real 100% certain way is to bolt the wheels on a see! I think the wheels on my car now are GTR offset anyway as the front scrub on my guard liners.

Hey ppls. I'm looking at buying some wheels and tyres for the R34 GTT. I am buying them primarity for the tyres, but the wheels would also be quite handy for drift/drag duties. They came off an R32 GTR. They are speedline mags, quite wide, and I'm assuming they will have an offset of something or the other. Question. Will they fit my car??? I currently have 9 inch rims on the car now. I will ask the current owner to check the wheel for offset markings, I forgot to look when I was there. They wheels will only be going on the back of the car. Here is a pic of the wheel. All help appreciated.

Yep. Cheaper and Easier to go down to your local wrecker who had the DET version in stock. Buy it, transplant it, and away you go. You would need (for reliabililty at increased boost) the correct pistons and things from the trubo engine will be different.

Okay, I’m back. I swear Noumea looks like a scene from Ali-G the movie. Lots of hotted up little hatch backs!! So, Maybe sometime this week or Saturday I’m going to refit the prototype to my car and have a look at the finish. This will also give me a chance to make sure the BOV and PCV return bits are in the right position. Money: People have been asking about approximate prices for these beasties. Well, at my last estimate, the pricey bits at the hoses and clamps. I’ve been speaking a lot with Shift Performance and they have given me good prices on the Reducer (excellent price!) and the straights and the clamps. BUT it still brings the total for extras to fit the duct to about $65-70 Therefore, about $150 – 200 for the duct plus $70 for the clamps, and the cost may be up to $270, but I don’t think it will be that high. I will be back with a genuine bonafide price once I have my prototype fully complete. I’m very keen to get the R34 versions off and running. BASS OUT

Knore. The duct is actually harder than it looks to make. In order to fit into the standard position, have the BOV and PCV returns and snake around to fit to the airbox, it needs to be quite complex. There doesnt need to be any flaring on the duct as it is in suction, not pressure. The silicone and clamps will be fine. Im at a computer in Noumea right now and the keyboard is all funny so Ill write more when I get back. Im soooo sick of seeing Renaults, Peugots and the like BASS OUT

Trust33. I might give people the option of polishing them at the end, I'll get quotes and let people know the numbers. I'm just going to either powder coat or anodise mine.

I had about 165 when I ran my 13.4 too.

I ran 13.4 at 102 at Calder, in an R34 GT-T with a 1.9 60 ft. Then went back with a new clutch, front mount and lightweight flywheel and couldn't better 14.4. Damn you axel tramp.

WHOOP You little ripper, hot diggity dog and all those excited phrases. I have just picked up the prototype duct. No PCV or BOV returns yet, I have to refit this one to my car and position them correctly and get them welded on now, but you can see it's on its way. You'll notice that the rubber duct and the ally duct are a little different, that's because the rubber duct is from an R33, not R34. I used it as an example of the curve that comes off the turbo. Unfortunatly, I have to go to Noumea for next week, so I wont be able to do anything more on them until next weekend, but now that I have it, it shouldn't be much longer. CHEERS BASS OUT

HOT DIGGITY DOG! The prototype is done and I'm going to pick it up today at some stage! Has to fit it to my car and make sure some things line up, then add some bits to it, but we are on the way!!!! I'll get some pick and post them ASAP. BASS OUT
