  1. Do a search as this has been discussed at length before. When running in an engine, its best to use high and varying load, but not hig revs. Load will bed the rings in nicely.
  2. They are Sensai wheels. Not sure of the make, but they are copied a lot. Can get them from Bob Jane. I was going to put them on my Calais.

  8. You need the "Quarter Junior" software. You put all the details of gear ratios and power figures into it and out comes your optimum shift points

  12. They force the air through the radiator, insted of over the over of it. Therefore increasing the cooling abilithe radiator because there is more air flowing through it to take away some of the heat.

  19. What about changing third to fourth?? Mine does it not from time to time, just when lazily cruising about and then giving it a little bit of stick. It will just crunch into gear. Worried.
  20. Story goes..... Can of V8 juice in the fridge. cut's to scene at the railyards..... Big thumping V8 (and this thing was an absolute ripper) reving its guts out and the two drivers of the imports are all scared and shit. Shot starts in close to the V8 and ends with the our quarter panels in the pic. NismoR34.... It's a pain in the arse!
  21. After fitting the old Bleed valve, I now have the impression of the steering wheel on my forehead, as boost cut happened heaps last night. Can't get it right. I did have a little restrictor in the system before the first valve as one was fitted in front of the old bleed valve. I have now pulled that out, but not had a chance yet to go for a drive. I have to go out this morning at some stage so I'll have another play and let you know.
  22. That's a good question and something that I might investigate. I drove to Bendigo and back today and had a lot of opportunities to play with the boost control, mainly slowing down to 80 and dropping it up to 110 (legal limit) to see what the boost does in each gear. What I found is that the boost will spool to the set level (first valve) in first and second no problem, but then third gear, it would boost to set level and then drop right off, like the wastegate was flying open. The boost would eventually build to the peak level, but not until 5-6k rpm. So tonight when I get back, I removed the new second valve (peak boost valve) and replaced it with my old bleed. Problem solved. I'm going to investigate another valve that I'm sourcing and try it on my car first. I hope you all appreciate this!! BASS OUT
  23. see my sig for times. (beofre cooler and flywheel) I looking for 12s (12.9) as I just fitted a lightweight flywheel which are reputedly good for 0.4 - 0.5. Also bolted in front mount cooler which should add a touch. PowerFC coming soon. Definent 12s
