Why was it suggested? An engine damper is like a little shock absorber that goes between the engine and the shock tower to reduce the engine rocking when you get on and off the power. Good from drifting so the engine doesn't out your balance off as much.

When you drop power to your injectors, you drop fuel, big spike of detonation is possible as it leans out. What if you miss a gear and have to clutch again...... Just a thought.

Anodizing is Uber-cheap. Shouldn't cost you more than $20 for the whole lot. It will most probably be the minimum charge for the place that you go to.

You get better flow, resulting in better off boost response and a whoole heap of other things that you get with normal extractors on an NA car.

Why dont' you get them anodized. Better to anodise them than chrome them. Do them "Titanium" colour.
